Chapter 40: : The Teacher and Student Bond
CHAPTER 40: : THE TEACHER AND STUDENT BOND
"Xuan, come, come to me, Xuan."
The voice whispered, undoubtedly recognized as the voice of the teacher, Yun Xi.
It was the middle of the night, and she was somehow whispering his name—unless he was just hearing things. Xuan shook his head.
Did having sex with her suddenly make him think of Yun Xi? He didn’t know, but as he was about to lie down, the voice whispered again.
Initially, Xuan would say he heard it in his sleep, but that wasn’t the case now, because he was awake. He stood up and walked downstairs.
However, there was no one there. "Xuan, come, come to me, Xuan." But he kept on hearing the whispers of Yun Xi. The soothing voice was undoubtedly hers.
When Xuan was about to reach for the door, Yue Cai’s father was suddenly standing behind him. "Where do you think you’re going, boy?" he asked.
Ever since he suspected Xuan had a role in his daughter’s abduction, he never smiled at him. Whenever he spoke with him, his voice was groggy and full of anger.
Xuan turned his neck to look behind him without moving his body. "I hear a strange voice. It’s Yun Xi calling me."
Although Xuan did not fully turn, he saw how the man’s eyes widened, and he even stepped back a few feet.
’What? They already share a Muay Thai bond? How?’ he thought.
Hearing the voice of your master was a normal thing, except it usually took weeks, if not months, to become bonded.
Well, at least this was a good thing for him. It meant Xuan was making progress, and the sooner, the better—before the demon lord destroyed his daughter.
After waiting a few more seconds and hearing nothing from the man, Xuan walked outside, and the voice called him again.
The road was so dark that it looked as if the moonlight did not know this town existed. So, Xuan leaped onto the rooftops until he got to Yun Xi’s quarters and jumped down.
Thud
When he landed, the sleeping guards flinched into attack mode, but seeing who it was, they looked at each other and said nothing.
Xuan entered the sect and didn’t look far, because his curvaceous, beautiful teacher was standing under the tree.
Even then, the moonlight filtering through the branches still revealed her figure behind the light pink robe she wore.
She let out a heavy sigh of relief. "I was afraid you wouldn’t come," said Yun Xi.
"Why would I not? Anytime you call, I’ll be there."
And Xuan’s quick reply sent butterflies into her stomach, but Yun Xi still did not turn around.
"I want us to start your training soon, but first, Xuan, what technique did you use on my body?"
"Technique?" Xuan muttered to himself, then he remembered involuntarily using the Charging Bull Technique last time. "Yes, it was a taboo technique only I know about," Xuan boldly replied.
And then again, right under the tree, Yun Xi’s robes slipped from her white, thick thighs and down her slender, long legs.
"Before the training, I want you to fuck me again—with a technique," said Yun Xi.
——————————
Inside the majestic room of the great Harem Emperor—well, he was great before this sickness.
Now, he was just a dying man lying on his bed and waiting for his final night to come.
But his beautiful, purple-haired daughter, Xue Ming, refused to accept it. Countless times she had brought great physicians, but still no results.
Not even results—no one had been able to tell what was wrong with the dying lord.
But a few signs, like his body weakening and his constant coughing, showed his meridian yin was gradually depleting.
Xue Ming had brought a few women to satisfy her father in an attempt to restore energy to his meridian, but nothing was helping.
This was the only thing the physicians could contribute.
"It seems His Highness isn’t using the right dual cultivation technique."
Woo was the Harem Emperor of the Wuxia nation, so back in his days, he had practiced many dual cultivation techniques.
On top of that, he was among the only ten living Heaven Combustion cultivators.
And what the physician meant was that he wasn’t using the right technique, even though these were the same techniques that had once given him power.
"His Highness’ meridian yin has become too familiar with every technique. They won’t help him anymore."
"What?" The purple-haired girl felt her heart ache. She looked at her dying father, who had his eyes closed. "Is there not anything we can do?"
"Well, the only thing I can suggest is the chance of using a dual cultivation technique he hasn’t used before."
Woo coughed when he heard what the physician said. "That’s impossible—cough." He now felt completely hopeless.
"Because every cultivation technique that has ever existed, I’ve used them all," he added and coughed.
"Father, relax yourself," Xue Ming begged. Then she turned back to the white-bearded physician. "So if there is a technique he hasn’t used before, he could be saved?" she asked, wanting to make sure.
But the physician kept quiet, lest it seem that after taking his words and searching far and wide for an unused technique, the emperor still ended up dying.
"I am not certain, my princess. I cannot completely say. The emperor’s state is new, and I haven’t seen it before," said the old physician.
Xue Ming dismissed the physician and squatted down beside her father’s bed. "Don’t worry, Father. I will search every library within the earth. I’ll find that technique," she murmured.
Because deep down, she knew the chances were little to none. If there was a discovered technique, selling it could make the founder rich beyond imagination.
But there hadn’t been any—or so they believed.
Woo coughed, trying to lift his hand to wipe away Xue Ming’s tears. Sadly, he couldn’t even feel his hand.
"It is impossible, my child."
So he believed—because, unknown to them, Xuan held a library of taboo techniques belonging to gods, and no man except his generation had ever set eyes on them.
