Chapter 119 : World Event (7)
At that same moment, far away from the chaos of Anarnia, Axton sat on his bed with a small sigh.
He had been resting for a few hours after logging out of New Eden, just to clear his mind and eat something.
The night was calm outside, the city lights glowing softly through his window.
He smiled faintly.
"Let’s see what those crazy guys are up to now," he muttered, rubbing his neck.
He stood up, stretched his arms, and walked over to his bed. He cracked his knuckles and took a deep breath as the bracelet around his wrist dissolved into his body.
As the world around him faded into darkness, his last words before disappearing into the game were quiet but filled with focus.
"Back to work."

Back in Anarnia, the battle between the Undead Archer and the S-rank Flame User, Rina continued.
The undead archer had pulled massive move that had the player swallowing her saliva.
Rina could feel it.
The pressure of death was closing in.
She raised her hand again, forming a large flame barrier.
Then the archer released.
Fwoosh!
The arrows sliced through the air, screaming like ghosts. They hit the barrier, exploding on impact. The fire wall shattered instantly, and the shockwave threw Rina backward. She hit the ground hard, coughing blood.
Before she could even lift her head, the undead archer appeared above her, standing tall, bow aimed directly at her heart.
"Good effort," she said coldly. "But you were never close."
She released one final arrow.
Rina’s screen went white, and then black.
Her avatar vanished.

The undead archer lowered her bow and turned around, scanning the area. The field was quiet again. Bodies of fallen players or rather, the glowing remains of their avatars flickered and disappeared.
She stood alone amid the ruins, her eyes calm.
"Pathetic," she said again, hitting her head lightly with the heel of her palm. "No one here is worth my arrows."
She began to walk away, stepping lightly on the broken stones. But just as she took another step forward, she stopped.
Something was off.
The air suddenly shifted. The atmosphere felt heavy, electric, almost suffocating.
She frowned, turning her gaze toward the far end of the path from where she sensed this abnormal change.
There was nothing there.
No player. No light. Just darkness and silence.
Yet, she felt it.
An invisible force pressed against her chest, like a wave of power that came from nowhere.
Her body staggered slightly backward, her boots scraping the ground.
"What is this..." she whispered.
Boom!
A faint blast of pressure erupted before her, scattering dust and debris.
Her eyes widened slightly as she stared into the distance, where the dust cleared slowly.
A silhouette stood there.
The presence was faint, calm, and silent.
Her hand tightened on her bowstring. "Who dares..."
The figure stepped forward, the light revealing him slightly.
It was none other than the one who has been tagged as the strongest player in New Eden.
...Axton.

[Undead Archer]
[Grade: ??]
[Level: ??]
[...]
That was all the players could see on her profile.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
Just an empty mystery that slaughtered them like cattle. The Undead Archer — her presence alone sent shivers down the spines of those still standing.
Around her lay dozens of glowing fragments — remnants of fallen players who had tried, and failed, to bring her down.
Their bodies had long vanished into light, leaving behind weapons and gear scattered across the cracked stone field of Anarnia’s plains.
The few survivors struggled to hold their ground, panting and trembling as they watched her draw her bow again. The black, bone-carved weapon gleamed faintly with a sinister aura, and her hollow, glowing eyes flickered with amusement as she gradually rose to her feet.
"Spread out! Don’t clump together!" someone shouted, his voice cracking in panic.
But before anyone could move...
Swish!
An arrow of shadow burst through the air, piercing two players at once. Both vanished in flashes of light.
Their screams echoed briefly and then silence.
Only the Undead Archer remained half standing in the dust, her expression empty yet elegant, her hair drifting softly in the wind.
And then...
A sudden wave of mana rippled through the area, dispelling the arrows.
The surviving players turned their heads as a familiar figure appeared out of thin air, black mist swirling around him like a storm.
Axton had intervened yet again.
With a single glance around, he could already tell who was winning, and whose asses were being handed to them.
The situation was obvious.
The Undead Archer was dominating the entire battlefield, moving like a ghost between arrows and blades.
She wasn’t fighting. She was hunting.
Even when B-rank talent users grouped up to take her down, she effortlessly shot through their defenses.
"Pathetic," Axton muttered under his breath.
He then glanced at the Undead Archer, who was struggling to stand after his Iron Fist. ’I’m surprised she could withstand it.’
He brought up her status window again, his eyes narrowing as he realized what the other players could not see.
While their displays showed only question marks, Axton’s system interface revealed everything.
[Undead Archer]
[Race: Undead]
[Grade: 2]
[Level: 30]
[Attack: 1475]
[Defense: 525]
[Agility: 1415]
[HP: 785 / 785]
[Skills: Maiden Arrow of Death, Finger of Death, Curse, Harbinger of Death]
Axton’s expression darkened as he studied her stats.
There was nothing particularly outstanding about them. She was strong, yes, but not unstoppable. Her level was far above the average player here, yet not beyond reason.
And still... she had butchered over thirty of them in less than ten minutes.
Axton glanced at the trembling players nearby, disgust flickering across his face.
"They couldn’t even scratch her," he muttered. "Pathetic."
But one detail caught his attention — the race field.
[Race: Undead.]
That single word sent a small thrill through him. It confirmed what he had begun to suspect. New Eden wasn’t limited to humans and demons. There were other races lurking beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered... or awakened.
