Divine Awakening: My Game Drops Increase Infinitely
Chapter 41 : Limitation
CHAPTER 41: CHAPTER 41 : LIMITATION
Chapter 41 : Limitation
In the time that the dragon’s roar was in effect, the guild members of the Dragon Claw guild did not waste any time in sweeping out the monsters that were in front of them.
Those who were not killed by the Dragon Claw members had themselves wiped out by Axton and his dragons, giving that they both had superior attack stats compared to the rest.
As they went through the group of monsters, a series of dings resounded notifying them of their individual rewards, which in Axton’s case was multiplied by his 100x critical hit effect.
However, one particular item caught his eye at that moment.
This item was a shining crystal that was shaped like a diamond.
[Mana crystal]
It was an item that restored a player’s mana.
With the bonus effect, the crystal was upgraded to a grade 4 mana crystal.
The peculiar thing about this was that he received two of the grade 4 mana crystals instead of a higher grade.
While he was satisfied with this, he was a bit confused as to why this happened.
Had he reached the limit of his bonus privilege?
Axton recalled that when he first received the 100x critical hit bonus, it was said to be upgradeable.
Nevertheless, he tucked thoughts away at the back of his mind for now.
Coins dropped like a rain shower.
Potions and items did not drop as much.
While Axton walked around, looking for whatever interested, he couldn’t help but overhear the murmurs of the other players that watched.
He found it funny but indeed they were right.
He was an overwhelming figure compared to them.
Sometimes, he even feels that all of this was a dream that he would soon wake up from.
The more Axton thought about it, the more he didn’t understand why it looked like everything was designed to favour him.
He knew it.
He knew he had it easier than many, if not all of the players in New Eden but he could not find a justification to why it was that way.
It had gotten to a point that he stopped actively thinking about all the time.
"You don’t mind me taking some of these items, do you?" Axton asked as he approached QueenBee.
QueenBee’s face flushed.
"N-No!" she blurted out, almost fiddling with her hands. "You basically killed most of the monsters. It’s only right that you get an equivalent reward."
Axton nodded. "Alright."
"After all, we had an agreement. So I don’t mind."
Things had actually turned out in their favour, and it would not be out of place to say that, the guild felt a bit of shame now that it looked like Axton was really about to help them scale through this dungeon.
And in hell mode at that!
Now that the drops were coming, Axton was more alert.
Dragon Claw had not shown him any signs of hostility or intentions to betray him but Axton knew better than to trust strangers, especially when he had been outnumbered.
******
Axton was a bit more settled now and decided to study the items he received.
Two grade 4 items.
Axton did not really have two of the same items for anything.

[The 100x critical hit raises the quantity of an item or the quality by three levels to a max level of grade 4. Items under grade 4 that max out at increased in quantity instead]
[However, grade 4 items are only upgraded to a max of grade 5]
Axton tried to understand what was going on.
’In essence, a common grade item goes up to Grade 3 and a grade 1 item goes up to grade 4.’
He massaged his chin. ’But a grade 2 item can’t be raised to grade 5, instead I will have two grade 4 items and if it is a grade 3 item, I will get 3 grade 4 items. Makes a bit of sense.’
As he thought about this, Axton knew that there was going to be a problem in the future if he didn’t handle it.
He was going to be limited and if he didn’t upgrade his privilege, sooner or later, other players might be in arm’s reach to him in terms of quality of weapons.
There were more grades above grade 5 and his current level of critical hit could not hit that.
This meant that unless he came across tools of those higher grades himself, he would never be able to own them with his current critical hit effect.
"Tch!" Axton gritted his teeth now that he understood what was going on.
"I don’t need two of these mana crystals," he muttered with a sigh. "If need be, I might just sell them off.

...
The difference between the grade 4 mana crystal and the grade 2 version was that the former had a skill bound to it and offered 100% mana recovery while the grade 2 version offered between 30-50% recovery of mana without any accompanying skill.
Axton was certainly not going to sell the mana crystal for now.
He did not want to make other players stronger and even if the Dragon Claw guild was welcoming to him, he did not trust them enough yet to give them such valuable items.
With the experience points he gathered, Axton chose to level up.
*Ding*
[+1 Level up!]
[You have gained 5 free stat points to share]
He went up from level 8 to 9 after this.
"I wonder what level he is."
"I dunno, man but it’s gotta be here for sure. Did you see what the fuck he just pulled? The hell!"
"Yeah. I agree with you."
If the other players knew that he was currently a level 9 player, they would be envious considering that the higher a player’s level was, the harder it was to get to the next level.
