Chapter 1835 - 1836: Two Dilemmas
CHAPTER 1835: CHAPTER 1836: TWO DILEMMAS
"Agunas? Why do you look so anxious?"
Just as Feng Yuan was contemplating how to transfer the teachers and students of Mao Mu Second Middle School, he saw Agunas flying in from the academy and asked in confusion. With such a tense look, could something have happened over there?
But that shouldn’t be the case, with Tamur holding the fort, the effects of the Abnormal Space should have been greatly weakened.
Captain Yang was also startled by Agunas’ expression, his heart skipping a beat. He didn’t think something that could make the Divine Beasts like Agunas look like that would be a small matter. Could something serious have happened at Maomu Academy?
"We just made contact with the Divine Beasts outside and received some very bad news. Now the schools trapped in the Abnormal Space involve the entire Divine Land Region. If you want to destroy the Abnormal Space, it will be very difficult."
"What did you say!!!"
Feng Yuan pondered while pinching his chin, and Captain Yang shouted in shock beside him, wishing he had misheard or that Agunas had misspoken. Unfortunately, Agunas flicked its tail and said,
"Now all schools in the Divine Land Region have been dragged into the Abnormal Space. Such a large-scale action has expanded the Abnormal Space to the edge of instability. Apart from the Divine Beasts that are already trapped in the Abnormal Space, I’m afraid other Divine Beasts can’t get in to help."
Rubbing his chin, Feng Yuan looked at Agunas and said,
"What if we send the schools inside the Abnormal Space out?"
"I’m afraid it will be difficult. Doing so might see them dragged back into the Abnormal Space from outside again, and this might increase the instability of the Abnormal Space..."
Agunas looked seriously at Feng Yuan, explaining why other Divine Beasts dare not enter. The sudden expansion of the Abnormal Space has made its already unstable internal space more chaotic, possibly being the reason for the previous sudden space conversions.
If the Abnormal Space shatters, everything inside will be totally destroyed by the spatial storm at the moment of destruction, and even Agunas shudders at that prospect.
"Tamur’s temporal coverage doesn’t significantly affect the structure here, and in that case... perhaps we just have to drift through it."
Feng Yuan spoke up after a while, saying that for now, letting Tamur drift with the other schools in this Abnormal Space might be the best solution, but everyone knew that it was merely the best option among many bad ones.
Even if Tamur were powerful, it couldn’t carry all the schools, and once the Abnormal Space collapsed, the schools that weren’t able to be saved...
"For now, this is all we can do. Saving even one more person... helps."
Sighing, Captain Yang said helplessly. He knew Feng Yuan’s proposal had significant issues, but for now, they didn’t have a better solution.
"Take it one step at a time, and it all hinges on whether Tamur can manage it; otherwise, all our planning would be in vain if Tamur can’t accomplish this."
Feng Yuan spread his hands and said, not lingering for long and counting on Gladys and Agunas to handle small incidents. As for big troubles?
There was no way around that, and he had to go back and discuss with Tamur directly. About the Divine Beast intelligence network, although they were in the same Abnormal Space, it was hugely affected, and just trying to contact Tamur from where they were was already difficult for Agunas.
"I can try, but the Mythical Era is finite, and I might not be able to carry all the schools completely."
After Feng Yuan explained the situation, Tamur thought for a moment and said. Due to the need to wrap the space around the schools with the Mythical Era, doing so would consume much more of the Mythical Era space than the space occupied by the schools themselves. Even though it was only the schools in the Divine Land Region, Tamur couldn’t possibly recreate the entire Mythical Era.
Nodding in understanding, Feng Yuan said to Tamur,
"Then I’ll have to trouble you, tsk, this thing is getting more troublesome."
"Perhaps, there’s another way?"
Veronia looked at Feng Yuan and asked, feeling that Feng Yuan might have other solutions, but unsure if he was being lazy and keeping quiet about them.
Noticing Veronia’s eyes on him, Feng Yuan replied awkwardly,
"It’s complicated and not very safe. Xilnais and Eclipse can indeed forcibly interfere with the Abnormal Space, but I’m not sure whether doing so would instantly trigger an Abnormal Space collapse."
"Is that why you suggested Tamur protect a part of the schools first, so even if something goes wrong, not everyone would perish?"
With a peculiar smile, Veronia glanced at Feng Yuan and said casually. Feng Yuan didn’t deny it because that’s exactly what he had in mind. As for doing it himself?
The power he could wield was limited, and doing it himself wasn’t much different from when Xilnais and the others took action.
But, given that the stability of the Abnormal Space was severely compromised, even though the internal space remained orderly, if Xilnais and the others took action, the whole Abnormal Space was at high risk of collapsing. By then, the schools not rescued in time would likely be utterly destroyed by the turbulent waves when the space perishes.
"It’s not your fault. None of us have a good solution. Even if something happens, it isn’t your fault."
Qi Chen suddenly spoke up beside him, and Feng Yuan, staring at Qi Chen in surprise, couldn’t help but shake his head with a smile, saying,
"I wouldn’t feel guilty for accidents, but for now, we need to find a way to reduce the consequences of failure. Unfortunately, Gitalien isn’t in this Abnormal Space either, and we don’t know if it can come in..."
Just relying on Tamur was not enough; if Gitalien could also help, perhaps there would be more assurance. However, Feng Yuan and the others weren’t sure if Gitalien and Lorraine Tower entering the Abnormal Space would cause a collapse.
At least, they could only stand guard outside until Tamur reached its limit.
As the Mythical Era enveloped the campus of Mao Mu Second Middle School, the entire school began to float and move towards Maomu Academy. At this moment, a peculiar humming voice echoed below, and a slightly naive girl riding a Lucky Green Bird flew to the main gate of Maomu Academy, looking at the people guarding the school entrance, saying,
"Don’t you know this counts as breaking the rules of the game? But never mind, let me, Liu An’an, resolve you rule-breaking challengers~"
As the girl’s voice fell, a huge Beast Tamer battle arena appeared in the air. Feng Yuan narrowed his eyes and said,
"Looks like you intend to stop us?"
"Irregular challengers, let me give you a miserable defeat~"
The girl Liu An’an evidently didn’t plan to answer Feng Yuan’s question, instead jumping into an extremely chuunibyou dance, summoning six Spirit Beasts to face everyone.
"This is..."
In everyone’s eyes, those six Spirit Beasts were all contracted with the girl Liu An’an, but how was this possible!
Her age looked similar to that of these students, so how could she have six Beast Tamers?! This was a capability even the children of large families didn’t possess!
Feng Yuan watched her awkward dance and the occasional chuunibyou language, thinking of something and said,
"I’ll take this one; you guys probably can’t beat her."
This wasn’t a joke; her array of Legendary Level Beasts surpassed even the graduating students apart from the teachers who could contend with her.
"Be careful not to use Ultimate Moves like Crimson Judgement that could tear through space."
After reminding Xiao Ji about precautions, Feng Yuan took Xiao Ji to the battle arena. The girl Liu An’an, upon seeing Feng Yuan on stage, showed a slight haughty smile and said,
"Villain, are you challenging the battle queen Liu An’an? I accept, come on!"
With that, the girl Liu An’an pointed her hand, and six Beast Tamers charged towards Feng Yuan simultaneously.
"This isn’t right, isn’t there a rule in Beast Tamer competitions?"
Qi Chen was puzzled, looking at Dou Yanlan for clarification. Even in wild battles, this wasn’t a common fighting method, let alone in Beast Tamer competitions, where one side didn’t suddenly launch an attack.
"There aren’t in competitions, but is this really a competition?"
Dou Yanlan, pinching her chin, remarked, and Feng Yuan seemed to have anticipated this, with the Black Barrier effortlessly deflecting the attacks. Gripping the Black Scythe in his hand, Feng Yuan looked at the girl Liu An’an opposite and said with a sly smile,
"If naughty kids don’t behave, one must teach them a lesson~"
