Lu Xiaoyu's words only made Liu Ergou more puzzled. Seeing the frown on his face, Lu Xiaoyu sighed and told him the truth.

"Er Gou, you might not be in the city much, so you wouldn't know, but their boss is named Mi Xiaoying!"

"This woman is terrifying. Even though she's only thirty, she already controls half the city."

Lu Xiaoyu's revelation left Liu Ergou gaping in shock.

What the hell? Did I mishear? How did I hear Mi Xiaoying's name again?

"Get rough?" Liu Ergou retorted without even looking up. "I'd like to see you try."

Hearing this, the guards realized Liu Ergou was looking for trouble. They immediately dropped the pretense, raising their batons to strike. In Liu Ergou's eyes, however, their movements were impossibly slow.

A few punches later, the baton-wielding guards were all unconscious on the floor. Looking at the four men lying on the ground, Liu Ergou sneered and then continued on his way upstairs.

He soon reached the second floor of Ting Tian Pavilion. A glance at the wall directory led him to Mi Xiaoying's office. Just as he was about to head over, more security guards poured out and blocked his path.

The one who appeared to be the head of security stepped forward. "Kid! You're really blind, aren't you? Don't you know what this place is? Do you think you can run wild in Ting Tian Pavilion? On top of that, you've injured several of our brothers. That's going to be a pain to deal with!"

With a wave of his hand, the guards behind him charged forward, ready to teach Liu Ergou a lesson.

Seeing so many people approaching him, Liu Ergou was completely unfazed, as always. As the first man reached him, Liu Ergou took a deep breath and roared.

"Mi Xiaoying, get out here! I, Liu Ergou, have arrived! Come out and greet me!"

The guards were stunned for a moment by his shout, then they couldn't help but erupt in laughter. The head of security laughed so hard he doubled over. "HAHAHA! Kid, did the fear drive you crazy? You expect our chairman to welcome you? Alright, alright, we won't bother you anymore. Just get yourself to a hospital! And don't you dare say it was us who scared you witless!"

Just as the guards were howling with laughter, an office door suddenly swung open. Mi Xiaoying, dressed in a red dress, emerged.

When she saw Liu Ergou, her face lit up with a joyful smile.

"Liu Ergou, I've been waiting for you a long time. You're finally here!" Mi Xiaoying said. "But you're not quite what I imagined. I thought you'd find Zhang Xiuming or maybe call and invite me over. I never expected you to just fight your way in!"
