CHAPTER 16: CHAPTER 16: ACTING AS A SPARE TIRE

Both parties don’t need to meet each other’s families!

If she doesn’t meet the family, what’s the point of being this aunt?

July Quinn: "..."

She had her pants off, and this is what she gets?

Kyle Keaton glanced at July Quinn, only to see her looking petrified.

He knew it, this woman was just after his billions!

Otherwise, why would she try so hard to seduce him?

So after last night’s near brush with romance, he prepared this divorce agreement in advance.

Sure enough, the moment the document came out, July Quinn showed her true colors.

"If there’s no problem, then sign it."

He urged, with mischief written in his eyes.

Unsurprisingly, July Quinn didn’t sign the document right away.

"What’s the matter, don’t want to sign?"

July Quinn looked up, deeply affectionate: "Hmm, I don’t want to divorce you."

"Is it because you can’t let go of me, or my assets?"

Kyle Keaton stepped forward, pinching her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze.

"Of course, it’s because I can’t let go of you, darling."

July Quinn smiled faintly, her lips curled, like a blossoming rose.

Kyle Keaton’s fingertip brushed over her lips, his eyes growing darker.

"But if you don’t sign, I’ll have reason to suspect you’re after my assets."

He was threatening her to sign the divorce agreement, while also coveting her beauty.

July Quinn sensed his hesitation and made a tactical retreat.

"I can sign, but remove the last line."

Kyle Keaton glanced at the last line of the document out of the corner of his eye, frowning slightly.

"You want to meet my family?"

July Quinn: "..."

Of course, she did!

Otherwise, why would she marry you?

But considering she couldn’t reveal herself as a schemer, July Quinn sugar-coated her words.

"Marriage isn’t public, it’s like nurturing a backup."

She jumped off the bed, wrapping her arms around Kyle Keaton’s neck again, even tiptoeing to close the distance between them.

Close enough that any slight movement from either would bring their lips together.

In their eyes, there was only each other’s reflection left.

In that almost-kissing distance, she parted her red lips again: "I don’t like being a backup."

"But I currently have no plans to take you to meet my family."

July Quinn was just his excuse to stall The White Family’s marriage pressure.

As long as The White Family didn’t find him during this period, July Quinn didn’t need to show up.

He also wouldn’t have to waste time dealing with these cumbersome matters.

As Kyle Keaton finished speaking, he looked at those lips he had pressed against, so ravishing and ready to bleed, just about to kiss them.

Who would have thought July Quinn would decisively push him away at this moment.

"Then I’ll serve you when you want to take me to meet your family."

July Quinn only wanted to be Nathan Jacobs’s aunt, teaching him and Nina Quinn a lesson in life.

But if she couldn’t become Nathan’s aunt, she wasn’t going to sacrifice herself for nothing.

She was just that practical!

July Quinn turned and left, without looking back.

"July Quinn!" Kyle Keaton was somewhat bewildered at this moment too.

He thought this woman wouldn’t dare so clearly refuse to sign, let alone directly refuse intimacy with him.

Unexpectedly, her refusal was so straightforward.

In effect, it slapped him hard in the face.

Hearing his call, July Quinn finally halted her steps.

Kyle Keaton thought there was still a chance.

But the woman merely turned back with a playful smile, saying, "Goodnight, darling."

Then, she patted her butt and left, not leaving behind a single cloud.

Leaving only that burning desire, for Kyle Keaton.

"Damn it!"

Looking down at the discordant part, Kyle Keaton immediately dashed to the door!

He wanted to drag July Quinn back onto the bed and give her a thorough lesson!
