Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 38: Not the Uncle?
CHAPTER 38: CHAPTER 38: NOT THE UNCLE?
"Not surnamed Fang? Then change your surname."
The person grabbed Amanda Ford’s hand and casually dropped this remark.
The voice was deep, yet as magnetic as the clash of rocks.
It made everyone instinctively turn their heads.
When they saw Kyle Keaton’s face, seemingly carved by God, everyone was stunned to silence.
Especially Nina Quinn, who had always loved chasing stars, particularly handsome male stars.
Yet she had never seen any male star like the man in front of her, who so overwhelmingly seized all her attention in an instant, making her fall in a second.
This feeling, even the man called the finest in Westmarch, Nathan Jacobs, had never given her.
But who exactly was this man, and why was he helping July Quinn?
While Nina Quinn was thoroughly amazed by Kyle Keaton’s looks, Amanda Ford, equally stunned by his explosive attractiveness for a moment, came to her senses.
She quickly withdrew her hand, face filled with thin anger.
"Who do you think you are? Why should you care if I discipline my daughter?"
As soon as this question was asked, July Quinn’s blood ignited instantly.
Come on!
Uncle, quickly tell them who you are!
Oh, let the storm come even more fiercely!
This was the face-slapping, trash-abusing scene she had long awaited.
However, despite July Quinn’s long wait, Nathan Jacobs didn’t cry out "Uncle" with apprehension.
Instead, Nathan’s peach blossom eyes, always overflowing with tenderness and luring women to fall for him, showed surprise, irritation, and later resentment and ferocity...
July Quinn was a bit puzzled.
This feeling was nothing like meeting an elder but more like facing an enemy?
But before she could figure out the question, she heard Nathan Jacobs ask, "Assistant Keaton, what are you doing here?"
Assistant Keaton?
July Quinn looked at Kyle Keaton in confusion and asked softly, "Is your surname Keaton?"
Wasn’t it supposed to be Uncle?
Did she recognize the wrong person back then?
Could it be that the flamboyant man in the floral shirt was Nathan’s uncle?
As soon as this thought emerged in her mind, July Quinn felt a chill run through her body.
Upon hearing the question, Kyle Keaton furrowed his brows.
"If my surname isn’t Keaton, then what could it be?"
Could it be that July Quinn didn’t know who he was?
But if she didn’t know his identity as Kyle Keaton, why was she so insistent on marrying him?
Could it really be love?
While Kyle Keaton was in doubt, Amanda Ford suddenly interjected, "Master Jacobs, this person is..."
If Nathan Jacobs had a good relationship with this person, then she couldn’t afford to be rude.
"Just my uncle’s assistant, that’s all."
Nathan Jacobs deliberately emphasized the words "that’s all" to imply he was more distinguished than Kyle Keaton.
And this was enough for Amanda Ford to get a sense that Nathan Jacobs’ relationship with this assistant was not only not friendly but somewhat poor.
Hence, her tone changed again.
"Turns out it’s just an assistant. I thought it was some big shot, daring to interfere when someone is disciplining their daughter."
She was already displeased with Kyle Keaton for meddling in their family affairs, and since Nathan Jacobs was also displeased with him.
Amanda might as well go all out and issued an expulsion order.
"Today, The Quinn Family is holding a banquet in The Continental Hotel’s side hall. I don’t want unrelated people present to ruin the atmosphere, so... please, sir, go back to where you came from."
"Of course, if you don’t want to leave, I can also have security carry you out."
After all, he’s just an assistant and probably has no power or status.
Throwing him out not only vented her anger but also pleased Master Jacobs, so why not?
