Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 52: Don’t Call Me Fickle
CHAPTER 52: CHAPTER 52: DON’T CALL ME FICKLE
"Which beggar, after being gifted a vineyard, wouldn’t be grateful and moved to tears? Who else but you would go to the extreme of smashing their own assets?"
July Quinn leaned against Kyle Keaton’s office desk in front of him, sizing him up.
His suit jacket was casually thrown on the desk, and his black shirt was unbuttoned at the top, revealing well-defined muscles.
His every move exuded an unattainable aloofness, yet his alluring male charm drove people mad.
July Quinn was attracted to this type, yet couldn’t find someone like him at White Horse Paradise.
Even so, she didn’t forget to distance herself from Kyle Keaton: "Also, don’t call me your wife. We’re getting divorced."
She could sense that this man wasn’t just handsome and charismatic; his background had to be complicated.
As for Nathan Jacobs’ insistence that he was just an assistant, July Quinn didn’t believe that nonsense.
Have you seen an assistant who disregards the Golden Kapok Card issued by Angela Bank and is dressed head to toe in luxury custom wear?
It was probably because of Kyle Keaton’s complex background that July initially mistook him for the real uncle.
But none of that mattered anymore.
Since he wasn’t the uncle, July Quinn didn’t want any further involvement with him.
Yet what July Quinn didn’t expect was that the man who had always resisted her and suspected her of ulterior motives would now, as she tried hard to sever ties, pull her onto his lap and hold her around her waist, keeping her from moving.
"Wife, when you were doing everything to get into my bed before, you weren’t this cold."
The man gently caressed her cheek, his voice seductive yet dangerously lethal.
She was flirty before, and now she’s playing serious too.
Did she think Kyle Keaton was something to play with?
Did she think she could just casually dismiss him after it was over?
He would not let her have her way!
Despite being held, July Quinn wasn’t flustered.
She faced Kyle Keaton coldly, her voice calm.
"Well, you said it yourself, that was before. Now, you don’t have the same allure to me as you used to."
She wouldn’t tell Kyle Keaton that she married him because she had mistaken him for Nathan Jacobs’ uncle.
Making such a silly mistake would be embarrassing if it got out.
But what July Quinn didn’t know was that the more she withheld from Kyle Keaton, the more frustrated he became.
Thus, Kyle Keaton also decided to pay back all the temptations and provocations that this woman had stirred up before!
"Wife, you’re being so fickle."
It’s only been a few days, and you’ve already lost interest. Isn’t that fickle?
But July Quinn wouldn’t accept his accusation and retorted, "If you can’t capture my heart, don’t call me fickle."
"Really? Then let me properly win your heart now..."
He didn’t believe that with his looks, Kyle Keaton wouldn’t be able to capture this woman’s heart!
As he finished speaking, he suddenly cupped the back of July Quinn’s head and went in to kiss her.
July Quinn probably didn’t expect that even with the divorce now in open discussion, the man who had previously resisted so vehemently would now take the initiative to kiss her.
Caught off guard, she was indeed caught in his kiss.
For a moment, July Quinn was stunned.
But Kyle Keaton didn’t stop there; he forcefully invaded further...
Perhaps because July Quinn had always been the one to initiate before, Kyle Keaton had never truly cherished it.
So this time, with him taking the initiative, Kyle Keaton was fully engaged.
And then he realized that this woman was unexpectedly... sweet!
At the moment he was lost in it, the woman suddenly struggled desperately.
Then she broke free with brute force.
"Enough. The divorce is final. Don’t think such tactics will win my heart."
After leaving these words with resentment and dissatisfaction, the woman quickly turned and left.
Kyle Keaton furiously punched the desk, "Damn it!"
This woman not only insulted him with money but also compared him to those ignorant youths who trade on their looks!
