Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 797: Did She Break Up with Him?
CHAPTER 797: CHAPTER 797: DID SHE BREAK UP WITH HIM?
Roman Kidd raised his brows slightly, his voice dropping a few degrees.
"Who’s the person next to her? Can’t be one of the warriors participating in the international competition!"
"Indeed not, I just investigated the person; he’s an executive director of Angela Club and also the deputy headmaster of Golden Kapok Academy, Robert."
His attendant could clearly perceive their Lord was angry, but whether it was because of another man beside July Quinn or simply because July was interacting with outsiders during the competition, he wasn’t quite sure.
Roman Kidd squinted his eyes, scrutinizing the man beside July Quinn.
In the flickering light, Roman Kidd still roughly recognized that he was indeed the commercial magnate that Aethelgard praised over the past two years, and the one who gained the favor of Angela Club’s mysterious mastermind, quickly rising to the position of executive director, Robert.
By rights, after hosting the warriors participating in the international competition, the hotel generally wouldn’t accept other visitors unless someone invited them.
Robert isn’t a participant, unless invited by a participant, he can enter the hotel.
Then, was it July Quinn who invited Robert to the hotel?
July Quinn’s records previously didn’t include traveling abroad, so how did she come to know Robert?
Roman Kidd sauntered forward, intending to find the answers himself.
But July Quinn was very astute, catching sight of Roman Kidd’s presence out of the corner of her eye, she said something to Robert who immediately got up and left.
When Roman Kidd reached her booth, there was only July Quinn left inside.
In front of her was a cocktail glass, and a bucket of unopened instant noodles beside it.
July Quinn was wearing a black tulle dress, her straight and dazzlingly white long legs elegantly crossed.
Her face carried an expression of intrigue and bewilderment: "Oh, how come you have time to buy joy in a place like this?"
"I’m here to find you, not to buy joy."
Although his gaze did not linger long on July Quinn’s legs, her playful expression nonetheless made Roman Kidd feel slightly uneasy.
July Quinn still smiled, but her tone was as cold as rejecting from a thousand miles away.
"Find me? For what? Want to persuade me to leave quickly and make room for your cousin again?"
Roman Kidd was about to argue, as he indeed had serious matters to discuss with July Quinn today.
But before he could speak, July Quinn continued, "As you wished, I’ve broken up with Kyle Keaton, don’t bother me over such trivial matters anymore!"
She initially proposed breaking up to vent her dissatisfaction with Kyle Keaton’s frequent mentions of breaking up, warning him not to use this issue to threaten her again.
But Kyle Keaton took it well; he subsequently didn’t even come to watch her competition, nor did he seek her out otherwise.
In July Quinn’s eyes, this action was essentially agreeing to the break-up.
This left July Quinn at a disadvantage quickly.
Should she find Kyle Keaton and explain to amend the situation?
No, her pride wouldn’t allow her to bow down to Kyle Keaton at such a time.
Moreover, she didn’t want to be the first to fall in love in their relationship.
So since Kyle Keaton dared to agree, she could truly choose to forgo love!
But the result of this forgoing made her feel immensely sad, leading her to hide in this bar and drink, while also checking on her various investments in Aethelgard to earn a little money.
After speaking, July Quinn picked up the cocktail on the table, intending to drink it all.
Unexpectedly, Roman Kidd grasped her hand as she was about to bring the drink to her lips, his dark eyes fixed on her: "Did you really break up with him?"
