Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 803: No Pain, No Gain
CHAPTER 803: CHAPTER 803: NO PAIN, NO GAIN
"I asked someone to buy some souvenirs from outside. You were going back early, right? Here are a few; you can give them to your friends and family when you return."
Bianca White quickly composed herself and stuffed some prepared travel souvenirs into July Quinn’s hands.
Looking down, July Quinn saw that they were indeed some Aethelgard travel souvenirs.
Things like badges, fridge magnets, and postcards; the selection was quite complete.
"Thanks, but I don’t really have anyone to give them to, so you should keep them yourself."
July Quinn pushed the items back into Bianca White’s hands and took a few more slurps of her instant noodles.
"You don’t have to be so distant; these things aren’t worth much anyway."
Bianca White was somewhat displeased her offer was refused, looking indignant.
"It’s not that I especially want to refuse you; I just really have no one to give them to."
Her friends had seen enough of the world and didn’t need such travel souvenirs.
As for family...
She had no family left.
Even the Quinn Family was gone; she once had Kyle Keaton to make up the numbers.
But now, Kyle Keaton, her only family member, had parted ways with her too.
Thinking about it, July Quinn rather envied Bianca White.
Even though her parents were long gone, at least she still had a cousin who unconditionally pampered and helped her.
As the saying goes, all things in this world are bitter, having someone love you is redemption.
But she never had anyone’s special affection...
With these thoughts, even the instant noodles in her mouth seemed to lose flavor.
Yet Bianca White still seemed to think she was refusing just for the sake of refusing, annoyed, she said, "Take them if you want!"
Saying this, she hugged her souvenirs and prepared to leave.
After all, she had confirmed that July Quinn had drunk those two bottles of water, now she just had to wait patiently for July Quinn to fail the drug test.
Thinking this, Bianca White’s steps were much lighter as she left.
But just then, July Quinn suddenly called her name: "Bianca White!"
Bianca White turned back, a bit bewildered.
Because this was the first time in her memory that July Quinn addressed her name so formally.
The moment she met July Quinn’s excessively enchanting eyes, Bianca White’s heart inexplicably skipped two beats.
She couldn’t shake the feeling that July Quinn’s gaze at that moment was a bit cold, a bit eerie.
That kind of look made her feel quite flustered.
"What else do you want?"
July Quinn didn’t respond, only said a seemingly random phrase: "If you don’t court death, you won’t die."
Those words made Bianca White extremely uneasy.
Could it be that July Quinn saw through what she’d done?
The thought terrified Bianca White.
But July Quinn, in front of her, slurped two more bites of noodles.
No...
July Quinn probably didn’t know.
Otherwise, how could she continue to eat the noodles so nonchalantly?
Yet, no matter how she thought, Bianca White felt July Quinn’s gaze was too unsettling. Not daring to stay longer, she hurriedly ran off with the souvenirs.

Meanwhile, the coach of The Aethelgard Vanguard Corps was pacing back and forth in the room, asking Wendy Tierney, "Did it work?"
Indeed, the potion in Wendy Tierney’s hand was given by the coach.
They had approached July Quinn a few times to invite her to join their team, only to be ruthlessly rejected by her.
If they couldn’t have her, then they would simply destroy her.
Otherwise, such a talented shooter would be a threat to them if on someone else’s team.
As long as July Quinn drank the potion, however little, she would certainly fail the drug test later.
By then, not only would July Quinn be disqualified from the competition, but her golden years as a shooter would be banned, posing no threat to them.
"It worked." Wendy Tierney replied to the text message, her excitement evident.
However, it’s not the future of The Aethelgard Vanguard Corps she worried about, it’s herself.
Because once July Quinn’s results were invalidated, her previous silver medal would become gold.
If she could perform well in today’s competition and win gold again, she would become the first gifted shooter in history to win two consecutive gold medals.
"Great. I’m looking forward to today’s match!"
"Me too!"
The coach and Wendy Tierney used the hotel’s drinking water to toast their victory instead of champagne...
