Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 819: Is She a Good Woman?
CHAPTER 819: CHAPTER 819: IS SHE A GOOD WOMAN?
Kyle Keaton’s cold and ruthless gaze immediately fell upon the drunk, looking as if he was ready to tear him apart with his bare hands.
But, the drunken man, shrouded in his hazy inebriation, seemed to come with his own firewall.
He completely overlooked the crackling tension in the air, continuing to happily spout his lengthy discourse.
"If a woman is beautiful, who wouldn’t cheat? It’s just a fleeting affair; as long as she comes home, she’s a good woman."
Kyle Keaton slammed his glass against the bar with a bang, coldly questioning the drunk, "Have the standards for a good woman become this low these days?"
So low that even after cheating, as long as she comes home, she is still a good woman?
"Isn’t it? Beautiful women today have a lot of pressure. She’s not truly scum; she just has a heart as big as the world and wants to give every man a home!"
The more the drunk spoke, the worse Kyle Keaton’s expression became.
Because the thought of July Quinn giving every man a home almost made him want to destroy the whole world.
Yet, the drunk was oblivious to the approaching danger, and simply thought Kyle Keaton was another pitiful man cheated on by his wife, trying his best to comfort him.
"Don’t blame your wife, she just made a mistake any woman might make. If you want to blame someone, blame the mistress. If the mistress didn’t seduce her, could she cheat?"
"Women will always prefer eighteen-year-old men, the mistress has the age advantage. A young body is indeed more appealing, and it’s unavoidable to resist temptation. You should understand your wife, and not hold it against her for the sake of the complete family."
"Besides, your wife is so beautiful; where can you find someone as good-looking after leaving her? Just let it be!"
But Kyle Keaton didn’t feel comforted at all, furiously shouting, "I, Kyle Keaton, am not someone who would compromise and endure!"
"I was as cocky as you when I was young, but after being single for nearly twenty years, I realized how foolish I was back then."
Kyle Keaton wanted to unleash a barrage on the drunk who calmly accepted being cuckolded.
But just as he raised his hand, the drunk shook his head, while walking towards the bar door, lamenting:
"If I hadn’t divorced her for the sake of pride back then, I would also have a family and someone to care for me now. If I’m hungry, there’s food at home, and someone to talk to. Unlike now, spending my days idly in bars. Sadly, life can’t be turned back..."
In the end, the drunk left safely.
But Kyle Keaton’s seething anger boiled over.
Right, he absolutely would not accept wearing that green hat.
Whoever was willing to put up with it could just go ahead!
Filled with rage, he downed red wine, white wine, spirits, and cocktails all in one night.
Yet the more he drank, the clearer his mind became.
The more he drank, the clearer the image of July Quinn’s merciless expression when she decided to part ways with him.
So this night, for him, was destined to be a sleepless one...
*
The next day, July Quinn woke up early, and the first thing she did after waking was check her phone to see if that damn man did anything other than like her post.
But except for the little heart she received last night, there was no trace of that damn man on her post.
Instead, Victor Hawthorne, Owen Shaw, and a few others were making a commotion in her comments.
Victor Hawthorne: [Who is this guy? How old is he, does he have a house or a car, where does he work? What does his family do, did his parents buy social insurance?]
