"Everyone, follow me to the sitting room."

Richard Donovan soothed Yvonne Donovan while issuing commands.

"You two, take this beast to the family doctor to see what’s going on with him, and the rest of you, clean up the scene."

Finally, Richard Donovan turned his gaze to Joy Quinn.

"You, take Yvonne back to her room to tidy up."

Indeed, it was Joy Quinn who had rushed to Richard Donovan to tattle, letting him know what was happening here.
