Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 889: Just as She Said
CHAPTER 889: CHAPTER 889: JUST AS SHE SAID
Unexpectedly, July Quinn didn’t answer but instead asked, "Is it that hard?"
"If it wasn’t hard, everyone would be a Wall Street legend."
Quentin Donovan has been trading stocks with his pocket money since he was fourteen and has made several times more money in the stock market than through business.
So he was confident, thinking he was a stock trading genius, capable of understanding these rising and falling market trends.
As for someone like July Quinn, a girl who had wandered and drifted since childhood, she probably only knew how to envy and be jealous of others wearing brand names. It would be a miracle if she could understand this stock chart!
Confidently, Quentin quickly invested all his funds and didn’t forget to cast a provocative glance at July Quinn after doing so.
July Quinn was also tired from shopping and didn’t bother with his provocation. She sat nearby, playing with the luxury watch she had just bought.
Among the luxury items she bought, many were couple sets, intending to wear them when she went out with Kyle Keaton.
Just as she opened the packaging of the watch, Quentin Donovan, who seemed gentle and elegant, suddenly cursed.
"Damn! What’s going on?"
July Quinn leisurely glanced at Quentin’s phone screen again, only to see the stock curve plummet after he invested.
"I told you it was a peak, but you didn’t believe me."
July Quinn put on the women’s watch and looked at it from different angles, feeling very satisfied.
But Quentin’s face didn’t look good; he had lost millions in just a few minutes.
And this downward trend seemed endless.
"Wait for the next support point, then sell. Today, we can only cut our losses on this one, maybe switch to that one below."
"You just happened to guess right, so don’t speak like a stock market god, okay?"
Quentin really couldn’t stand July’s nonchalant attitude.
After all, if you often walk by the river, how can you avoid getting your shoes wet?
So, naturally, Quentin had moments of being trapped in stock trading over the years.
But as long as he patiently waited, he would eventually turn things around.
Therefore, he was still firm in his choice, continuing to hold onto that stock.
As he watched the stock start to climb slowly after the plummet, Quentin’s confidence was restored.
But then, July chimed in again nearby, confusing him with her pointers: "At this point, you should sell."
But Quentin insisted, "Just wait a moment, I’m about to break even. I’m going to increase my positions now and ride this wave."
"Then you’ll be crying; this should be the highest point today."
July took off the watch and began trying on the matching rings.
But Quentin retorted, "Stop directing blindly here. When I was playing the stock market, you were still playing with mud in the countryside."
Quentin confidently continued to buy in.
"Then wait for the drop limit and get trapped." July finished trying on the ring, removed it, and placed it back into the exquisite gift box.
Meanwhile, Quentin glanced at July with unconcealed mockery in his eyes.
Obviously, he didn’t believe July’s words, and even less did he believe that a stock market genius like himself could be trapped.
But shortly after, he exclaimed in shock again.
"What the heck?"
It turned out that soon after Quentin bought in again, the stock plunged once more.
And this time, it seemed to fall endlessly, hitting the drop limit in just five minutes.
Quentin couldn’t hide his shock, while July Quinn nonchalantly mumbled, "This is an example of not listening to the advice of the experienced only to suffer before your eyes."
It was at this moment that Quentin, utterly shocked, looked at July Quinn: "You, you can really read stock charts?"
