CHAPTER 160 - HIRATSUKA SHIZUKA'S IRON FIST [BONUS CHAPTER 3/4]

"Don't look, I made them ignore us," Ren said, letting go of his hand and patting it. Good, no stains.

"Hiss ah!" Vinsuke sat on the ground, clutching his bloody, mangled right hand.

"Huh?" Hiratsuka Shizuka was a bit dazed. Ren turned his head, and she saw eyes completely different from his usual ones, eyes sparkling with starlight. "Sigh."

Ren, a head taller than Hiratsuka Shizuka, placed his hands on her shoulders and said earnestly, "Shizuka-sensei, you really shouldn't go on blind dates anymore; it's very dangerous."

"What exactly is going on?" Although Hiratsuka Shizuka didn't know what had happened, she had calmed down. She was very willing to trust her student.

Ren let go of her and pointed at Vinsuke on the ground. "This guy is not only a pervert, but also a monster."

"Pervert? Monster?" Hiratsuka Shizuka was even more confused. If he was a pervert, she could understand, but what did 'monster' mean?

Ren said coldly, "Hey, take me to your basement."

"Yes!" Vinsuke's attitude suddenly changed; the pain in his right hand seemed to vanish. He stood up and walked into the restaurant.

Turning to look at Hiratsuka Shizuka, Ren spoke softly, completely abandoning his previous cold demeanor. "Shizuka-sensei, you should go back first, or just stay here." With that, Ren followed him inside.

Hiratsuka Shizuka remained completely bewildered. She patted her head, finally deciding to follow him. The reason was that he was her student, so she had to take responsibility to the end.

Vinsuke unlocked the heavy iron door behind the restaurant, revealing a dark, deep staircase extending downwards. "Ah!" "Hehehe!" "Wuwu!" Strange noises came from below. There were roars, strange laughs, and cries.

Hiratsuka Shizuka, who had followed, changed her expression. This situation definitely didn't look simple. Those were human voices, and all of them were women's voices. Hiratsuka Shizuka felt that she should call the police immediately, but Ren had already followed into the tunnel.

Gritting her teeth, she took out her phone, ready to dial the police at any moment, and followed him down. They passed through a section of dark, sloping stairs. Light flickered at the end. Taking the last step, they entered the lit room.

Hiratsuka Shizuka stood dumbfounded, her mind completely blank at that moment. Here, she witnessed the most terrifying scene of her life.

My name is Hiratsuka Shizuka. Today was supposed to be another meaningless blind date. Vinsuke, my parents said he was a good young man who owned his own restaurant. When I met him, I felt nothing at all, but rather a strange sense of aversion. Perhaps I was disgusted with myself for seeking something genuine.

I was about to enter the restaurant when Ren, my student, appeared out of nowhere. He immediately crushed Vinsuke's hand. I had long sensed that this kid was strong, but I never imagined he was this exaggerated. He said a bunch of things that left me completely confused. Pervert, monster, ignoring... and so on.

Then, he was led into the restaurant. I followed him in, saw the basement door, and heard the sounds from within. I instinctively felt something was wrong. When I fully entered the basement and saw the scene inside, a strong sense of fear instantly surged into my heart.

My heart pounded, as if it would leap out of my chest, and my breathing became rapid and difficult. I felt a wave of nausea, the food in my stomach seemed to be churning, ready to erupt at any moment. A foul and bloody stench assailed my nostrils.

On several tabletops in the basement, there were several naked corpses. Part of the foul stench emanated from them. Their bodies had numerous pockmarked wounds where flesh and blood were missing, leaving behind craters. Some were even disemboweled, their bloody organs spilling out and dangling onto the floor with the flowing blood. There were also severed limbs, and even heads split in half, revealing white matter. Fallen eyes and ears mixed with white fluid, making one involuntarily want to vomit.

Steel hooks hung from the ceiling. Some hooks were only stained with blood, but others had women's bodies hanging from them... They were impaled through their backs by iron hooks, their naked bodies suspended and dangling. Around them... were disheveled women. They were bound by special chains, which connected to blood-stained walls. Some were deranged, some cried with their heads in their hands, and some screamed and cried upon seeing them.

The blood on the ground was like a tide, soaking my shoes. My legs began to tremble uncontrollably, almost unable to support my body. I felt a wave of weakness, as if the whole world was swaying, threatening to collapse at any moment. My hands were ice cold, and sweat continuously dripped from my forehead, moistening my cheeks. My senses were gradually fading.

Smell, I only detected blood and foul odors. Taste, I only felt like throwing up my guts. Hearing, I only heard crying and screaming. Sight... The bloody scene before me made it impossible to look away. Those dismembered limbs, fresh red blood, and distorted expressions seemed etched into my mind, making it impossible to escape.

I felt a wave of suffocation, as if an invisible hand was tightly gripping my throat, making it impossible to breathe. I tried to escape this terrifying scene, but my body was as if nailed down, unable to move. I felt a wave of despair, as if trapped in an endless darkness, unable to find a way out. In this atmosphere of fear, I couldn't help but imagine myself in it, feeling the pain and helplessness of the victims. What surged in my heart... was sadness and anger.

"Devil... Are you a devil?!" With unknown courage, Hiratsuka Shizuka's trembling body erupted in a roar, punching Vinsuke directly in the abdomen. Immediately, Vinsuke's eyes bulged, he vomited, and his entire body flew backward. With a bang, he heavily slammed against the wall, then fell down.

"???" This commotion even startled Ren. It wasn't that the punch was particularly powerful, but rather who threw it... it was Hiratsuka Shizuka. He was certain that she was just an ordinary person. Yet, an ordinary person's punch sent an adult flying several meters. It showed just how angry Hiratsuka Shizuka was at that moment. This was truly Hiratsuka Shizuka's iron fist. And it was an iron fist used in the right place, as Ren knew it. He had seen many fan fictions where Hiratsuka Shizuka's iron fist was indiscriminately used on students, which made her seem terrible. This was the real Teacher Jing. Ren really liked this punch.

Admittedly, the sudden burst of strength was great, perhaps enough to kill someone. But she wasn't facing a human. Vinsuke stood up. He stared darkly at Hiratsuka Shizuka. "Ah!" He roared upwards. [!!!] This scream instantly made the imprisoned women tremble. And Vinsuke also transformed at the same time. His eyes suddenly turned into non-human red eyes. [Rip!] Immediately after, his clothes tore from behind, and a pair of disgusting, tumor-like wings unfolded.

[!!!] The enraged Hiratsuka Shizuka was now terrified; Vinsuke had turned from a human into a monster! She suddenly turned to look at Ren; he had said that Vinsuke was a monster!

"Don't worry about him attacking you, he's already under my control." Ren motioned for Hiratsuka Shizuka to relax. Vinsuke had transformed and also found that he couldn't move at all.

"What exactly is going on?" Ren walked step by step to Vinsuke, examining his eyes and wings, and said indifferently, "He's not human, he's a Ghoul." In fact, he hadn't expected it either. After meeting Hiratsuka Shizuka and seeing this man, he noticed that this person carried immense sin. After dominating his memories, he discovered his identity: a Ghoul. He understood that a new cognitive factor had appeared, and it was this unpleasant creature.

"A Ghoul?" Ren didn't answer her, his gaze sweeping over the trembling, fear-stricken women. He was also somewhat angry after a long time. Vinsuke was not just a Ghoul. He was also an extremely perverted beast. He liked to eat women, somewhat like Douma. But compared to Douma, he preferred to eat women who were driven to despair after endless torment. Every one of these bodies had endured countless tortures. He saw in his memories that flaying and dismemberment were extremely common.

Wings of Sin unfolded. The current Wings of Sin were stronger because it had gained the characteristics of the witches after converting eight witches into Sin Apostles. He had a premonition. If it absorbed the sins and beliefs of more worlds, Chaos Wings would be sublimated. Using the new power of Wings of Sin, he could alter the course of judgment with the Sin of Wrath.

Simply turning him to ash would be too easy for him. He would stretch the course of judgment with the Sin of Wrath. Within any given time, the judged would infinitely cycle through enduring their sins and would never truly reach death. Whether it was their body, soul, or spirit, all would permanently bear their sins. Until Ren allowed him to turn to ash.

The Black Mist of Judgment merged into his body. "Ah ah ah, no no no!!!!" Immediately after, Vinsuke let out twisted, painful, eerie roars and screams. What he was experiencing at that moment was the brutalization of every person he had eaten. Ren wanted him to suffer a fate worse than death, like a certain Diavolo, never reaching the reality of death.

The black wings dissipated. Golden light shone. Golden wings bloomed. Light of Salvation! Bathed in the golden light, the bodies of the imprisoned people rapidly recovered. Not just simple healing, but also true salvation.

"Go." Before Ren's eyes were the tearful thanks of the women, which only he could see. They were the victims who had died, the malevolent spirits gathered in this room. Now they would receive true salvation.

Hiratsuka Shizuka stared blankly at Ren, who was like a god.

They left that hellish restaurant. Ren took her to a bridge over the river. Perhaps the wind from the river could calm her down.

Hiratsuka Shizuka, having barely calmed some of her mixed emotions, immediately asked Ren, "What will happen to them...?"

Ren leaned on the railing, closing his eyes to enjoy the rushing wind. "They will forget everything and return to society." That was all he could do.

Clenching her fists, Hiratsuka Shizuka sighed. "Forgetting everything... perhaps it's a good outcome."

"Shizuka-sensei, how about I erase your memories too?" Ren was ready to give her the choice.

Hiratsuka Shizuka stood in the cold wind, momentarily unsure how to answer. Her red dress fluttered in the wind, the cool night breeze tousled her smooth hair, paired with her bewildered expression. There was a unique, poignant beauty to the scene. That purgatorial scene lingered in her mind. Thinking of the bloody and terrifying images would make her dizzy and short of breath.

Hiratsuka Shizuka lowered her head, not stating her choice, and instead asked, "Vinsuke... he... what exactly is a Ghoul?"

Ren turned around, spread his arms, leaning back against the railing, his voice calm. "A Ghoul... is a distorted demi-human or creature that can almost only eat humans."

"They can only eat people... civilians." Hiratsuka Shizuka found it hard to remain calm. "Are there many of these monsters?"

"I don't know either. You know about my Supernatural Research Club, right?"

"Yes."

"Supernatural entities are like cicadas; when it's not their time to appear, they are extremely difficult to find underground. When it is their time, they will suddenly emerge. The world has more than just Ghouls; there are many more supernatural phenomena that haven't appeared yet."

Precisely because of this, unobserved cognitions, anomalies, and uncertainties will forever remain unobservable, and Ghouls are no exception. The apocalypse is such a strange thing.
