CHAPTER 167: WHO DARES CLAIM INVINCIBILITY? [BONUS CHAPTER 5/5]

"All of you, die!" Daikaku Kokujoji roared, punching out, and a phantom like the starry sky bloomed. The air trembled, and an overwhelmingly powerful force crushed towards the few people.

"Wah!" Nagare Hisui, Reisi Munakata, and Iwanaka Tenkei were all instantly shattered in their Holy Domain by this force, their bodies flying backward, spitting blood from their mouths. Weismann’s unchanging power kept him unharmed; he merely flew out and then used gravity to suspend himself. Mikoto Suoh used immense power to barely withstand the attack.

After Daikaku Kokujoji repelled the five Kings, he locked his gaze on Homra and Scepter4 in the distance. A sinister grin appeared at the corner of his mouth. "I’ll kill your clans!" Before the Kings could react, he raised his hand, waving it once, twice, three times towards that direction. And what changed with his movements was that a hundred-meter-tall building rose from the ground, then smashed towards Awashima Seri and the others. With that speed and size, there was no way to dodge.

Awashima Seri’s eyes narrowed, and she immediately shouted, "All members, draw your swords!" Izumo Kusanagi also hastily shouted, "Everyone, attack..." But the sentence stopped abruptly. It wasn’t just one tall building; one after another, several hundred-meter-tall buildings came like a chain of stars.

"Gulp... We... are dead..." In the shadows, someone swallowed nervously in fear. Even Izumo Kusanagi felt powerless. This was the power of the strongest King. He took a deep breath and shouted, "No Blood! No Bone! No Ash!" The Homra members looked at each other and shouted in unison. This was their Homra slogan. Not a drop of blood! Not a single bone! Not a speck of dust! How could they be afraid of death?

"Damn it!" Mikoto Suoh and Reisi Munakata wanted to rush over, but Daikaku Kokujoji blocked them. "Our battle isn’t over yet!" Awashima Seri also lost the will to resist. At this moment, she calmly faced death.

"Hahahaha, do you see? I am the one with the strongest power! I am invincible! No one can defeat me!" Daikaku Kokujoji laughed maniacally and arrogantly.

"Who dares claim invincibility? Who dares speak of undefeatability?" A disdainful sneer reached Daikaku Kokujoji’s ears. "Do you think you are the Desolate Heavenly Emperor?"

"What?!" Daikaku Kokujoji’s eyes widened, bigger than an ox’s. He looked down at his chest. It was pierced straight through by a steel pipe. His head was even too stiff to turn. His vision was blurring; his body was weakening; his consciousness was becoming ethereal. "I need to run!!!!" He wanted to escape from this dying body, but he failed. The Colorless King’s soul shattered.

In the moment before death, the Colorless King had only one thought. "Who... am I?"

Thud. Daikaku Kokujoji’s corpse fell to the ground.

"Lieutenant!" Weismann was the first to run over, supporting his body and checking for breath.

Ren casually threw away the steel pipe in his hand. "Don’t bother, he’s thoroughly dead." Mikoto Suoh and Reisi Munakata first focused on the condition of their clansmen. Everyone was safe and sound, because the buildings had turned to dust.

"Oh dear, what’s going on?" Izumo Kusanagi let out a long breath, a look of surprise on his face.

"It’s rainbow... beautiful rainbow..." The small Kushina Anna beside him murmured, her eyes sparkling.

Awashima Seri, on the other hand, stared intently at the man who killed the Golden King. She could be certain that it was that man who saved them from the brink of death. She heard a snap of fingers. In Awashima Seri’s calm gaze, a man had appeared before them. Immediately after, several buildings, like bubbles, gradually turned into dust. In just a blink of an eye, that man disappeared, as if he had never appeared.

Except for Mikoto Suoh, everyone else looked at Ren with wariness. Reisi Munakata wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, adjusted his glasses, and frowned. "Are you an unregistered power user?"

"Not at all." Ren had no intention of discussing these things with him, merely telling them simply. "He is not Daikaku Kokujoji; he is the Colorless King. The Colorless King seized his body."

"Colorless King?!" Weismann looked up, anger in his eyes. "Where is he?"

"He’s also dead, killed by me." Ren said nonchalantly.

Silver Wolf: "So fast, what a boring battle. I’m going to play games."

Saeko Busujima: "The enemy was instantly killed."

Nami: "Kiana, do you feel a sense of familiarity at the scene?"

Kiana: "?! This Miss... this Miss would never be that stupid!"

Mikasa: "When... when did he get behind that person?"

Momonga: "I didn’t see clearly either."

Rory Takakura: "Ren just vanished from beside me with a whoosh, and then vanished behind that old grandpa with another whoosh."

Aqua: "Tsk, it’s just simple spatial movement, little girl, don’t be fooled, okay?"

Rory Takakura: "Eh! What fooling... Ren didn’t do anything, did he?"

Aqua: "Tsk tsk tsk, a little girl is just a little girl. When you say that, you’ve already fallen into the clutches of evil."

Ren’s mouth twitched. This Aqua was intensely vengeful, always trying to slander him at every turn. "Don’t give me a chance to go to your world, otherwise... I really want to see if the Goddess of Water truly has a lot of water." However, Aqua was indeed correct. He merely instantly moved behind him, severed his death line, and thoroughly killed the opponent.

After killing the Colorless King, the Doom Companion prompt also appeared.

[Ren gained 100,000 doomsday points, Mikoto Suoh gained 30,000 doomsday points, Kiana gained 10,000 doomsday points, Rory Takakura gained 10,000 doomsday points!]

Doom Companion had ended, but the doomsday had not yet concluded. The Light of Ruin still existed. Ren had already found the exact location of the Light of Ruin from the Colorless King’s jumbled memories.

"Mikoto Suoh, Rory Takakura, Kiana, come with me to a place." As soon as he finished speaking, the four people and one cat suddenly vanished.

"They... disappeared!" Panshu Tianji’s dead fish eyes, for once, opened wide.

Nagare Hisui frowned. The Golden King had died. This was what he wanted to see. However, a seemingly more troublesome person appeared, and that person had a connection with the Red King. His plan needed to be put on hold for observation before he could act.

Reisi Munakata’s gaze under his glasses flickered to the spot where Ren and the others had disappeared, then casually shifted to Nagare Hisui. He needed to be wary of the two of them. As for the Silver King, Weismann, he looked sorrowful as he carried Daikaku Kokujoji’s body and flew into the sky.

"This is..." Mikoto Suoh felt a powerful force here. In the center of the dim space, there was a flat rock as large as six tatami mats, with a strange pattern resembling a circular maze carved into its surface.

"This is the source of the King’s power, the Dresden Slate," Ren said calmly. This was precisely the Dresden Slate Chamber in the Golden King’s Royal Pillar Tower, where the Dresden Slate was stored. And the Light of Destruction was right above the Slate.

Ren’s ice-blue, iridescent Mystic Eyes of Death Perception opened. "!!!" The kitten trembled; those eyes were so terrifying!

"Don’t be afraid, I’m not going to hurt you," Ren said softly, already drawing his Zanpakuto. His target was one of the two death lines on the Dresden Slate: a pure white death line. He swung his sword, intending to cut it. But unexpectedly, the death line actually moved! Ren was startled and noticed something amiss. It wasn’t the death line moving, but a mass of white light gathering from the surface of the Slate and beginning to escape outwards. It detached from the Slate and rushed towards Rory Takakura.

"So bright!" The dazzling white light made Rory Takakura unable to open her eyes. The Light of Destruction seemed to be searching for a host, attempting to merge into Rory Takakura’s body. But something even stranger happened. As it was about to touch Rory Takakura’s skin, it couldn’t advance an inch.

"How peculiar, I didn’t expect you could run." Ren was very surprised; this thing actually tried to escape. Although he wasn’t sure what this mass of Light of Destruction wanted to do, judging by the Colorless King’s appearance, it certainly wasn’t good news. If it were his previous self, he might have let the Light of Destruction succeed. Unfortunately, Ren now possessed the Source of Space, at lv8. The Light of Destruction and Rory Takakura seemed to be only a hair’s breadth apart. In reality, several superimposed spaces separated them.

Simply put, the Light of Destruction and Rory Takakura were not on the same layer at all. Unless it broke through the several parallel spaces in between and forcefully reached Rory Takakura’s layer, it couldn’t touch her. Furthermore, the Light of Destruction was already immobile; it was trapped in a box formed by several superimposed spaces.

To prevent it from causing trouble, Ren had instantly set up multiple restrictions. "No matter what you are, you can die now." Knowing how to escape meant it was afraid, afraid of the existence of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. He slashed out with his sword.

Crack! Space shattered. The death line broke. After a violent burst of light, the Light of Destruction vanished into thin air.
