In an instant, the entire temple was bathed in a soft green glow.

Levos's severed silver-white tail trembled briefly, then began to writhe and crawl across the ground.

"Did it still fail?"

Disappointment flickered in the eyes of many.

"No! I think… it's slightly longer now."

"You're right! It really is!"

At those words, Frieza's eyes twitched slightly, and a wicked grin crept onto his face.

"Mr. Buu, please continue," Supreme Kai Shin urged excitedly.

Zzzzt

Once again, a green beam of healing light enveloped the tip of Levos's tail.

This time, everyone observed closely.

Sure enough, after receiving Majin Buu's healing spell, a tiny nub of flesh began to sprout from the severed section of the tail.

Hope reignited in everyone's eyes.

However, after Majin Buu released over a dozen green healing rays…

A problem became apparent.

The regeneration was far too slow.

From a pinky-length stub, it had only grown to the length of an index finger.

At this rate, they'd need tens of thousands of healing attempts to fully restore Levos's body.

And Buu's healing ability came with both stamina and mental limits.

While stamina wasn't an issue thanks to the help of three other healers the mental burden was trickier.

If he pushed too far, Buu would have to rest before continuing.

Seeing this, Frieza chuckled coldly. "Oh-ho-ho-ho… It seems Mr. Levos's full recovery will take a while. In the meantime, how about healing me?"

"I did suffer quite a bit retrieving his remains."

"No way! There's no chance we're wasting our healing on a villain like you!" Dende rejected him without hesitation.

Frieza narrowed his eyes at Dende. "Hmph. Every time I see a Namekian, it stirs unpleasant memories."

A dark, oppressive aura surged forth, silencing Dende.

"Oh-ho… Aren't you the little brat I killed on Namek back then?" Frieza asked mockingly.

Dende's eyes turned bloodshot, his expression twisted in pain. "You didn't just kill me you slaughtered countless of my people!"

Frieza sneered, "So what? Didn't you all come back thanks to the Dragon Balls? Honestly, those orbs are disgustingly convenient."

The atmosphere grew tense once more, beads of sweat forming on Supreme Kai Shin's forehead.

Then suddenly

The earth trembled violently.

Blinding beams of light shot up from underground.

Boom!

A deafening explosion rocked the land as the ground collapsed inward.

Everyone turned to look an immense cloud of smoke and dust cloaked the scene below.

"What's happening?!" Shin gasped, stunned.

Frieza frowned. "There's… a deeply unsettling energy."

From within the smoke, a figure began to rise one they all recognized too well.

Then another.

And another.

And another…

Ten… a hundred…

Countless silhouettes surged out of the mist, each one emanating an overwhelming aura.

Rumble

The tremors intensified. Cracks split the land, magma spewed from the fissures.

"Didn't we already destroy him?! Why are there so many now?!" Frieza's eyes widened in shock.

Future Trunks' pupils contracted violently. "Fused Zamasu!"

Memories from his own timeline came flooding back. A look of despair settled across his face.

"Trunks, you seem to know something! Tell us, what is going on?!" Shin cried, panicked.

"Fused Zamasu's immortality is incredibly unstable. Once pushed past a certain threshold… his body distorts and collapses, corrupting the entire world…"

As Future Trunks spoke, flashes of that tragic future played vividly in his mind.

He recounted the end of his timeline in pained detail.

"That lunatic wanted to erase the entire universe!"

The group clenched their fists in anger. Their hatred for Fused Zamasu burned hotter than ever.

"So… the only solution is to call upon the Grand Zeno again?" Shin whispered. "But if we do that… we'll all be erased too, along with the entire universe…"

Trunks's face darkened further at the thought.

Suddenly, he looked up, as if remembering something.

"Maybe… only he can save us now. The one who always gives us hope, even in despair…"

All eyes turned toward a single figure in their hearts.

"Levos!"

"But Mr. Levos is far from full recovery!"

"We don't have that kind of time!"

"Maybe… I can help," a timid voice spoke up.

Everyone turned.

It was a small, scrawny alien with yellow skin and an ant-like head, standing nervously beside Frieza.

"You? Kikono?" Frieza narrowed his sharp eyes.

Kikono trembled more under Frieza's gaze. "Lord Levos once asked me to store a healing chamber inside one of those Capsule Corporation capsules…"

Then he quickly added, "That chamber is equipped with full limb regeneration tech…"

"You're only telling us this now?!" Frieza growled, face darkening.

"M-My lord… Are you actually considering saving Lord Levos?" Kikono stammered.

"Hmph!" Frieza gave a twisted smirk. "Do we have any other choice right now?"

Kikono immediately pulled out a capsule and tossed it into the courtyard.

With a puff of smoke, a gleaming silver healing chamber materialized before them.

Supreme Kai Shin was stunned. "Can this really save Levos?"

"This is our last chance," Hedo said firmly. "No matter what, we have to try!"

Then, a confident look rose on his face. "I may not be a fighter, but when it comes to tech and biology, I'm second to none."

Pilaf hesitated for a moment, then stepped forward. "I… I know a little about tech too."

Ash and the two Mai girls cheered. "Lord Pilaf, this is our time to shine!"

But before they could celebrate further…

From all directions came the maniacal laughter of countless Fused Zamasus.

"Tremble before the power of a god, mortals! Ahahaha!"

"I will create the perfect universe!" they cried in unison, arms outstretched, halos of divine light forming behind them.

One by one, their twisted smiles stretched unnaturally wide.

"I will become the one true god of all universes!"
