Dragon Ball: West City High Schooler, Captures 18!
Chapter 77 77
Aishi was puzzled.
The Hyperbolic Time Chamber had always been ten times gravity, right?
Why was it now ten thousand times?
Son Goku looked serious.
"Actually, when we first came in, we didn't notice it either..."
"Come to think of it, it was because we were bored that we found out!"
Aishi raised an eyebrow.
"Bored?"
Vegeta stepped forward, glancing at Goku, and spoke slowly:
"Kakarot, this idiot, said he wanted to see how big the Time Chamber really was, so he ran far away from the entrance... and ended up discovering a whole different area!"
Vegeta scanned their surroundings, his expression solemn.
"We found that the deeper inside we went, the gravity kept increasing exponentially..."
The deeper you went, the stronger the gravity?!
Aishi frowned slightly.
Was there such a function?
After thinking for a moment, he asked:
"What's the limit? Did you reach it?"
The Hyperbolic Time Chamber was supposed to be infinite. If gravity kept increasing with space, then... wouldn't it be limitless too?
Son Goku shook his head.
"The highest we found was one hundred thousand times. We didn't go further in..."
So it really was infinite.
Aishi narrowed his eyes.
That was terrifying.
He couldn't help but wonder – just who created such a fearsome training ground?
Kami?
Impossible. If Kami had such power, he wouldn't just be a mere guardian of Earth.
He could probably only manage small modifications.
Creating a place with infinite space, infinite gravity, and different time flow... just how powerful was the one who built it?
Perhaps... only someone at the level of the Grand Priest could do such a thing?
After a moment of thought, Aishi shook his head.
Forget it, why bother thinking so deeply?
Whoever created it didn't matter, as long as it wasn't harmful.
Aishi looked at the three of them.
"Come on, let's head out. Dende is worried sick about you guys."
They nodded.
But it was mostly driven by their convictions.
Son Goku refused to remain weak and be someone needing protection.
Vegeta could not stand being inferior, determined to battle Rigor.
Broly simply sought strength... and accompanied the two as well.
Three pure goals, united in one place.
...
Outside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Dende stood nervously by the door.
"Why aren't they out yet...?"
As his voice fell, the chamber door slowly opened.
Several figures walked out.
Dende quickly looked up, eyes lighting up in relief.
"Aishi-san, everyone, you're finally out!"
He let out a deep sigh.
If they didn't come out soon, he'd die from anxiety.
Earth's top combat power... missing under his watch – he couldn't bear such a crime.
Thankfully, that didn't happen.
Son Goku saw Dende and realised their negligence.
Scratching his head apologetically, he said:
"Dende, sorry about that. We lost track of time in there and ended up training for so long..."
Dende shook his head quickly.
"No need to apologise. I just worry for your safety... I don't fully understand the Time Chamber's limits either."
Son Goku nodded seriously.
"I understand."
Dende nodded back, then asked cautiously:
"So... how was your training?"
Five years... and three top-class Saiyans.
They must have become unbelievably strong, right?
In Dende's mind, surely Son Goku and the others were now invincible...
Son Goku thought for a moment and said:
"I'm not sure how strong I've gotten... but tomorrow is the tournament, so I can test it then!"
Beside him, Vegeta remained silent, his expression unreadable.
How strong was he now?
He really didn't know... these years, he focused only on enhancing his base combat power, ignoring everything else.
He should have reached Rigor's level by now... right?
He wasn't sure either.
Broly didn't care much.
How strong was he?
Definitely not as strong as Aishi, but Rigor... Broly felt he could take him now!
If nothing else, that Super Saiyan 5 shadow had faded somewhat.
That form left a heavy psychological scar on him – shattering his invincible dream in just a few blows.
Dende thought for a moment and smiled.
"With your abilities, I'm sure you'll do well."
"I wish I could see it myself... but I can't leave Earth."
He sounded a little regretful.
Who wouldn't want to witness such an extraordinary martial arts tournament?
Son Goku felt guilty.
He was the one who brought Dende to Earth, and now his position confined his freedom.
Dende noticed Goku's expression and quickly added:
"I'm not saying I dislike this job. I love being Kami of Earth! I'm just a little sad I can't witness the match. That's all."
Son Goku smiled awkwardly.
"Sorry, Dende."
Dende shook his head earnestly.
"Please, don't think that way, Goku-san. I'm honoured to serve as Earth's guardian."
Seeing the conversation coming to an end, Goku smiled and changed the topic.
"Dende, got any food?"
Dende smiled.
"Mr. Popo is cooking now... it will be ready soon!"
Seeing the three still wanting to stay and eat, Aishi spoke calmly:
"Tomorrow morning, gather in West City. Beerus and Whis will come to pick us up."
They nodded.
Aishi's figure slowly disappeared, returning home.
...
The next day.
Aishi was fully prepared, quietly waiting for his women to come downstairs.
Before long, three beautiful figures walked down.
It was worth mentioning... ever since Tights got together with Aishi, she had bought out the entire apartment complex they lived in.
In other words, every apartment nearby was now Aishi's home.
There were no neighbours left.
Such was the financial power of Capsule Corporation...
Though Aishi could have done the same himself, he felt there was no point.
18 walked up, her cold eyes staring at Aishi.
"Why are you up so early again?"
Aishi was puzzled.
"What kind of question is that?"
Without thinking, he answered honestly:
"I always wake up at this time."
18 snorted.
"I don't believe you."
"..."
Aishi was stunned.
"Why not?"
18 scoffed coldly.
"I'm not telling you."
With that, she turned and walked out.
"...?"
What was that about?
At this moment, 21 walked over with a gentle smile.
"Have you eaten?"
Aishi hugged her.
"What's wrong with 18?"
21 blushed softly in his embrace and whispered:
"She's probably jealous."
Aishi froze.
"Jealous?"
"Yes."
He was completely confused.
"Jealous of who?"
21 shook her head.
"I don't know... maybe some unknown woman."
Unknown woman?
Where would that come from?
At this moment, a finger poked his back.
Tights.
She leaned in and said softly:
"Idiot."
Sensei...?
Vados?!
Aishi realised. He had mentioned Vados to them before.
He raised his eyebrows slightly.
18 couldn't be like this. They'd all be sisters in the future.
He needed to 'adjust' her properly.
Before long.
Capsule Corporation.
Beerus looked at the crowd of people, his mouth twitching.
He said they could bring family and friends, but... was this necessary?
It was like they'd brought their entire clan.
Beerus looked at Goku, his voice low.
"Goku, is this what you meant by 'just a few people'?"
Goku scratched his head with an awkward laugh.
"Well... maybe a bit more than a few."
More than a bit!
Beerus turned to Whis.
"Whis, will this be okay?"
Whis counted them one by one and smiled.
"It's fine, Lord Beerus."
Beerus nodded.
"Good. Then let's go."
Whis summoned a rectangular transport cube.
Everyone stepped on with curiosity and wonder.
Though there were many of them, the cube wasn't crowded at all – it was spacious and comfortable.
Everyone chatted excitedly.
Yamcha was full of excitement.
"This is the first time I've seen space this close... I used to only look at it from Earth."
Krillin, holding his child, sighed.
"I saw it once before, on the way to fight Frieza, but I didn't have time to appreciate the view..."
At the front, Beerus glanced at Goku, Vegeta, and Broly, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"You three... have gotten much stronger."
He understood now why Goku refused to train in the God of Destruction Realm.
Was it because Earth allowed them to grow this strong?
Goku laughed.
"We're still nothing compared to you, Lord Beerus!"
Beerus crossed his arms with a snort.
"Don't compare yourselves to me..."
How many times had he told them that?
Why didn't they ever listen?
Goku just smiled without replying.
Beerus seemed to remember something and looked at Aishi.
"Aishi, Champa said his side also has an extremely strong Saiyan as backup. Be careful."
Aishi raised an eyebrow.
"An extremely strong Saiyan?"
Beerus nodded.
"Yes... that idiot couldn't keep it to himself. He told me yesterday."
Aishi nodded calmly.
"I see."
Interesting.
Champa had just been slammed down by him recently, yet now he was boasting about having an extremely strong Saiyan as a trump card...
He definitely wasn't lying.
Who could it be?
This... was their hidden card.
Aishi's eyes narrowed slightly.
