CHAPTER 35: CHAPTER 35: THE YOUNG DRAGONS’ ORDEAL

After quickly eating up her roast meat, the Xiao Female Dragon said to the Little Black Dragon:

"Let’s go back to the mine! Our treasure is all there! It would be too much of a pity to give up like this."

"You... you go back by yourself if you want, how kind of you to invite me?"

The Little Black Dragon looked at the Xiao Female Dragon with suspicion, knowing she had always looked down on him, planning to hog the mercury mine for herself.

The Xiao Female Dragon just grinned and said:

"You useless thing, though you’re a bit weak, you have some use before I become an adult. I allow you to share the treasure with me."

Though she said this, in her heart, the treasure given to Little Black Dragon Ed was merely for safekeeping!

As soon as she matured.

No! As soon as she grew to her youth stage or teenage time! She would then give Little Black Dragon Ed a beating and take back all the treasure he was safeguarding!

This was her plan.

The Little Black Dragon didn’t know of the Xiao Female Dragon’s sinister intentions. He contemplated for a while before agreeing to her request, digging back into the tunnel, heading to the mine!

They reclaimed their rightful mine.

Additionally, they re-enlisted a few lucky kobolds that survived earlier as their vassals, starting their reign as the mine lords.

Merely lounging in their mine heap every day, living in a dream.

The kobolds, as before, anxiously rushed to the two dragons, yelling about adventurers arriving.

The two young dragons had their hearts skip a beat, simultaneously coming to the edge of the hole.

They didn’t immediately dive in, but decided to wait for the adventurers to arrive.

They planned to carefully assess the strength and number of these adventurers before making a decision.

The pride of the dragons didn’t allow them to retreat without a fight!

At least not without seeing the face of the enemy!

If the opponents were just a bunch of garbage, would it make sense to run?

The tunnel was somewhat silent.

Before long, a series of footsteps were heard.

Two young dragons readied themselves for battle, prepared to flee at any moment.

A female elf with long silver hair and pointed ears, exceedingly beautiful, draped in a white robe appeared.

Along with two casters, equally outstanding in appearance, one with long blond hair and the other with short brown hair.

Behind them was a hunter dressed in leather armor.

The two dragons originally saw the few adventurers and showed a scornful look.

They were just about to throw a few harsh words to show their dragon might when they suddenly froze!

They carefully observed the silver-haired female elf for a moment, their eyes showing shock, and without saying a word, both dragons jumped towards the hole beside them!

They decided to flee!

"Thinking of running now? Too late!" The silver-haired female elf smiled lightly seeing this.

The voice was pleasant and crisp.

She gently waved the ornate magic staff in her hand.

The soil of the hole quickly wriggled, closing just as the two dragons were entering!

Bang!

Both young dragon heads hit it straight on.

Flustered, they twisted their necks and glared at the silver-haired female elf, roaring:

"You! You damn Silver Dragon! What are you doing here in our territory? Trying to steal our treasure? Don’t think bringing people will scare us?

You are just one dragon! We have two dragons here! Oppose us, and it won’t end well for you!"

The Xiao Female Dragon was extremely agitated, snorting hot air from her nostrils.

That’s right, among these few, the silver-haired elf wasn’t truly an elf! She was a True Dragon! A Silver Dragon!

Being the same kind but different race’s mortal enemies.

The legacy within the two young dragons carried so much of their past memories related to this!

Little Black Dragon Ed, however, squatted slightly, raising his two front paws, looking scared.

"Wha-what?" The Xiao Female Dragon hearing the Little Black Dragon’s words went dumb:

"What is wrong with you, you trash? You yielded without even fighting? You don’t even want the treasure?"

"Fight... fight what? Look at that Silver Dragon, she is at least in her youth stage. How are we, two young dragons, supposed to fight her!" Little Black Dragon looked helpless.

"Pah! Coward! I’m ashamed of being with you, you trash!"

The Xiao Female Dragon fuming, spat right on the Little Black Dragon’s face.

But the Little Black Dragon didn’t mind either. After enduring the dual education and humiliation from Land and the Xiao Female Dragon, even at a young age, the dragon’s arrogance was mostly worn down.

Living now was just to survive to adulthood! Then escape the two bully dragons and gain freedom to start his brilliant dragon life.

For this, he could endure and bear humiliation just like a human!

"Hehehe~ you two little guys are quite interesting!"

The elf, transformed from a Silver Dragon, let out a crisp laugh, seemingly pleased.

"Miss! And the two esteemed guests! Please first kill these two despicable young dragons to avenge Lord Baron!"

The hunter, deeply angered, face turning blue, bowed to his lady, requesting the golden-haired caster.

"Killing these two young dragons? Isn’t that too wasteful? Better to capture them! And let my Burke Clan tame them properly!"

The brown-haired caster spoke up.

Yet the elf, transformed from a Silver Dragon, frowned slightly, showing some displeasure.

"Hey hey hey! Silver Dragon! Look at what these humans are saying?

They actually see us noble Dragon Race as beasts they can casually kill? As dragon pets to catch at will?

What do they take True Dragons for? Quick, teach them a lesson! Let these lowly beings know how powerful we are! If you are indeed still a dragon!"

The Xiao Female Dragon roared in anger.

This gave the hunter and the two casters a bad premonition.

"You little dragon! Don’t talk nonsense. How could I possibly attack my companions?" The Silver Dragon incarnated as an elf shook her head, then said to the people next to her:

"These two dragons, although they belong to the Five-Colored Dragons, who are always against us Metal Dragons, they are still my kin of the Dragon Race, plus they’re young and didn’t kill Baron Ackman.

I think there’s no need for us to exterminate them completely, right?"
