CHAPTER 64: MING SHENGREN.

The virtue lacks evil heart; the evil heart lacks virtue,

A stern-looking man and a Monk were playing the ancient chess... But just then, their entire face sank.

"Th-This!? This!? This!? Such cursed evil energy... This monk fears an evil has taken root in the world," The heavenly monk clad in gold and orange Buddhist silk uttered with a frown.

"The Monk is wise. This Seat’s heart stirs just from the sensation of this evil energy, what evil might have taken root in this peaceful world? I fear, the sun will change its direction and the moon will hide behind the veil..." another old man clad in righteous vermilion white silk said shaking his head.

The evil energy that had been sensed came from Bai Long’s heaven despair tree.

"¹Lao Shengren, we can’t allow such vile energy to take a strong foothold in this world, we need to eliminate it before it reaches maturity. Please use the mystic virtue mirror and contact the ²Ming Shengren on the nine virtue heavens,"

"Junior Monk speaks the wise solution alas, the mystic virtue mirror lacks the energy to connect to heaven. It was used just two days ago, and I fear we might need years to recover all the energy to connect to heaven again..." The Sage uttered solemnly.

"Mystic virtue mirror has already been used!? How come this monk is unaware of it, I am one of the four pagons of heavenly pillar..."

In order for Mystic virtue to be used to connect to heaven, at least 3 among the four pagons of the heavenly pillar must agree.

"If I may, can the monk inquire for what reason the mystic virtue mirror was used?"

"This seat does not dare to hide; the mystic virtue mirror was used to locate the five individuals who managed to obtain the inheritance from five divine beasts," the Sage replied earnestly.

"It seems it was used for profound cause and effect; the monk does not dare to ask too much, but even so, this monk is quite curious about the five individuals..." The monk shared his honest thoughts.

"They are:

Bai Huan — who inherited the ³Black Tortoise from the Jadeleaf Expanse,

Yang Kai — who inherited the White Tiger from the Jadeleaf Expanse,

Zu An — who inherited the Vermilion Bird from the Northern Thunder Cloud Mountain,

Fang Yun — who inherited the Azure Dragon from the Western Himalayan region,

And,

Jai Yi — who inherited the Divine Phoenix from the Western Himalayan region."

The sage revealed the names of people who obtained the inheritance from the five divine beasts, to satisfy the monk’s curiosity.

"Namo Buddha, Namo sharanam... The world is bound to change with the inheritance of five divine beasts, alas the competition for resources on the new generation is going to be chaotic," Monk thinks once, shake head twice.

"This old man believes, that the five individuals are bound to have Qi Luck protecting them, yet, I have been told that someone with foreign aid is trying to sabotage them from growing." Sage’s eyes turned cold.

"What!? Someone dare to change the fate written by heavens!? Who dares commit such a sin..." The Monk asked.

"This sage is unsure about the cause and effect but it seems they have some sort of magic entity to aid them, which is known as the system, and the one named Xie Shen, is currently trying to harm Fang Yun. Luckily two heavenly pagons have gone to help him. Anyone who dares to challenge the fate written by Heaven shall not exist on this earth," The sage uttered with fury.

As the system has revealed, there are multiple reincarnated individuals and multiple guides. Xie Shen was one of those reincarnated individuals with a system.

Unlike Bai Long, he wasn’t a third-rate cheap cannon fodder Young Master but a great second-rate Young Master.

This is a reason not to keep a high profile and act highly arrogant.

Xie Shen who was far better than Bai Long in every way possible met his end, including his family.

His status was better, his strength was better, but he tried to kill the protagonist using poisons and schemes making the protagonist burn a lot of Qi Luck.

Qi Luck is like an investment by the people who have ascended to Heaven, cultivating the Heavenly Dao.

By giving away their heavenly merit in the form of Qi Luck to a person of their desire, they gain heavenly virtue.

So, Qi Luck isn’t infinite yet an undeniably powerful resource for the people who have ascended to heaven thus, it is bound to attract their hatred, if some random nobody begins to destroy their plan to gain heavenly virtue.

Heaven instantly notices once you start stealing the Qi Luck of heavenly sons or even if you kill the chosen so-called female leads.
