Dual Cultivation: Ying Yang is way to Chaos
Chapter 34: Senior Sister is Lonely..
CHAPTER 34: SENIOR SISTER IS LONELY..
Xuan Xue did not know what she should say here. Should she praise him for defeating his opponent when he was stronger than her and it did not even look like a fair fight as he was hiding his strength?
"Yes you did well, and yes my mood is worse due to a fly buzzing around me."
Li Xiang was stupified being called a fly. She was a peak stage Tribulation Ascendance cultivator for Heaven’s sake. There were less than ten such cultivators in the whole world and they were all revered in every corner of the world. But look at her audacity, how could she call her a fly.
Although she complained in her mind, she did not voice out any dissatisfaction. She was really afraid of being kicked out.
Lin Feng shook his head, went behind her seat, and looked at senior sister Mo Yan. She had already called the next disciples for a duel. "Master, can I ask you something?"
"Hmm, what is it?" Xuan Xue understood that he was finally going to reveal the reason for his farce.
"Do you know that I went on a mission with senior sister Mo Yan?"
"Yes, Lian’er told me that."
"Hmm, I felt senior sister is quite lonely." It was the truth. He knew that senior sister only put on a brave face. He did not know her story but he knew that senior sister Mo Yan was connected to his master and aunt deeply.
Xuan Xue became stunned. She still remembered the day when she and Lian’er brought Mo Yan to the sect. She had taken special care of her along with Lian’er. Mo Yan used to call them big sisters instead of senior sister.
At that time Mo Yan had wanted to take her as master, but she herself was quite young and still a disciple, not to mention she was not keen on taking disciples, so she declined and told her to become a disciple of their own master. But Mo Yan only wanted to become her disciple, so she never accepted anyone else as master.
Mo Yan’s aptitude was extraordinary. They had even guessed that she had some special constitution, but they had not been able to deduce which constitution it was. Their guess became true when she reached the Core Formation realm.
From then on, Mo Yan maintained a proper distance from her and began calling her respectfully. She knew it was her way of showing that she was angry with her, so she gave her space.
Afterwards they kept going further and their relationship became that of sect master and disciple. She had felt that Mo Yan still did not like her, so she had completely discarded the thought of asking her to become her disciple again as it would not look good.
"She is a strong-willed woman, do not worry," Xuan Xue spoke with her usual tone, but there definitely was some helplessness in it.
Xuan Lian and others shook their heads. Xuan Xue could sometimes be too stubborn and foolish.
Xuan Lian had told her to sort out these differences, but her sister felt too guilty about it, and Mo Yan was stubborn too. Among their stupidity, even she was affected.
Lin Feng squinted his eyes. "Master."
Xuan Xue sighed. "What?"
"I want to ask you one thing. Please answer it truthfully." Lin Feng was serious right now. He wanted his master to accept senior sister for some other reason, but hearing her little sad voice he had a feeling that she wanted to do the same.
"Go on," Xuan Xue spoke while looking at Mo Yan.
"Would you accept senior sister as disciple if she asked about it again?"
Xuan Xue felt Lin Feng was serious she sighed. Why would she not accept her, but Mo Yan would definitely not ask again. It was her fault of neglecting Mo Yan, fine she would do it herself. "Leave it, I will ask her later myself."
Lin Feng was happy to hear that. It was an even better outcome than before.
Xuan Lian and others sighed in relief, finally.
The competition went on and the last fight of peak Qi Refinement was going on. Zhan Tian shook his head because one of the disciples was too good. He was sure his disciple would not win her challenge.
Others were also pleased by her performance. Her name was He Xianli. She was a saber user.
As expected she won easily. Now only three participants were left for the last round.
Lin Feng moved towards the arena as the next match was his, and the winner would fight He Xianli for the top spot.
As expected when he reached the arena, senior sister Mo Yan called him and his opponent onto the stage. Lin Feng decided to end this fast.
"Start." Mo Yan had just finished speaking when Lin Feng dashed forward. His opponent was shocked and moved back, but Lin Feng’s speed was faster. The opponent slashed her short sword in an attempt to stop Lin Feng, but Lin Feng easily dodged it like a snake and caught the throat of his opponent gently.
"Lin Feng wins," Mo Yan announced. She was truly stunned by her junior brother’s performance today.
Others were also stunned again. Lin Feng made it seem too easy, not to mention he was just an early stage cultivator.
"He is too impressive. I have to say I am quite jealous, Xue’er. Why do you always end up getting the best? Now you will also have Mo Yan as disciple... Humph, and do not kick me out just because of this, I am just praising him," Li Xiang spoke.
Xuan Xue shook her head and did not say anything.
Lin Feng did not come back and waited there. The next battle was after ten minutes so that he could rest, but since he was not feeling tired, he looked at Mo Yan. "Senior sister, can we start the match?"
Mo Yan nodded. "If you are fine with it, then it is fine. He Xianli, come."
He Xianli came to the arena and cupped her fist. "Brother Lin, you are truly impressive. I know that I will lose, but I still want to try."
Lin Feng returned the greeting. "Sister He, you are impressive too, and giving up without trying is only for weak-willed people. Please give your all."
"I will, brother Lin," He Xianli nodded.
"Start."
Lin Feng did not dash and let He Xianli attack first. It was similar to how one of the disciples had tried to let him show his skills.
He Xianli understood his intention and attacked first. She came in front of him and slashed from above his head.
Mo Yan became alert. Her junior brother had a profound way of dodging with hair’s breath distance. If she was not fast enough, and by mistake he was unable to dodge, then he would get hurt badly.
