Dual Cultivation: Ying Yang is way to Chaos
Chapter 5: Aunt’s Gift and Sect’s History
CHAPTER 5: AUNT’S GIFT AND SECT’S HISTORY
Xuan Xue nodded, she wasn’t surprised by that decision... she would have done the same after the recent incident. It felt like both sects were slowly beginning to bare their fangs at them.
"We lost two disciples. We must take revenge..." Zi Mei spoke with intense anger in her eyes.
"Did someone from their sect come?" Xuan Xue asked.
"Yes, they both sent an elder to clarify. They said that they have punished their disciples," Qing Shu answered, as she was the one who had attended them.
Xuan Xue frowned. This was directly saying that they had done nothing to them.
This incident wasn’t small. Disciples from both sects had joined forces to defile two of their disciples, who committed suicide to protect their dignity. In the past, such incidents happened too, but the punishment was always left in the hands of the Frozen Heart Sect.
But this time, these two sects didn’t want to do that. It was as if they had finally decided to openly go against them.
"From now on, no disciple should go on a mission without having three attack talismans and one escape talisman, which are at least one level above their cultivation realm," Xuan Xue spoke calmly.
The cultivation journey was filled with dangers; death was a common occurrence... not to mention, for the women of her sect, they were all enticing targets for everyone.
She could only do this much. Their sect didn’t have any talisman master other than her, so she had to work for it herself. She was free these days, so she could handle it.
"What about the spirit mine?" They had discovered a mine. It was still within their territory but was closer to the border with the eastern region, so it would be somewhat dangerous if others found out about it.
"We have secured the area already. I will go there personally to examine its value," Hua Ying replied.
"Well, anything else we need to pay attention to?" Xuan Xue asked.
"Not really. So would you mind explaining why you decided to take that boy as your personal disciple? Weren’t you against taking any disciples before?" Zi Mei spoke. She was still feeling a little sour about that decision.
Xuan Xue sighed... although she was the sect master and the others were just elders, their relationship was far deeper. They were all sisters, having known each other since they started cultivating... after all, the previous sect master was all of their master.
So they all knew each other quite deeply; they didn’t hide anything from one another.
"Ok fine, let me tell you all everything..."
Xuan Xue began explaining everything—how she had found Lin Feng, how she felt strange when she touched him the first time, how her heart felt like not letting him go, and that’s why she brought him to the main sect instead of leaving him at the base.
She also told them about his memory loss and his predicament in cultivation.
"I hope you understand, Mei’er, because even I don’t know what compelled me to make this decision... and even now, I don’t hate it."
They all became stunned. Xuan Xue wasn’t someone impulsive, so they knew that something had made her take this decision—but this reason was truly surprising.
Zi Mei sighed, "I don’t blame you or anything. It’s just... oh well, forget it. But is he really that special? I mean, did you have any inclination about how you felt?"
Xuan Xue wanted to tell them how she felt, but even with them being sisters, she felt ashamed to admit it, so she kept quiet and lied.
"I don’t know..."
But the moment she said that, Xuan Lian spoke up.
"That’s a lie."
"Yup."
"No doubt about it..."
...
Others also commented in similar manner.
Xuan Xue ignored them. She had a feeling this would happen. Xuan Lian smirked and didn’t continue teasing her, but she had one question.
"You forgot about one thing."
"What is it?" Xuan Xue asked.
"If it is something related to you touching him, then isn’t it possible that he would be feeling the same?"
Xuan Xue’s nodded," It might be possible but I didn’t saw his reaction, so I can be truly sure about it"
But now that she thought about it, it was possible... and in fact, she had a feeling that it was related to her physique.
As expected, others came to the same conclusion.
"I think it is related to your physique," Lan Yue spoke.
Others nodded as well.
"Well, we can figure that out easily. I am going to touch him. Let’s see if anything happens or not..." Xuan Lian stood up and left.
Xuan Xue didn’t try to stop her.
"Should we go too?" Hua Ying seemed interested.
"Forget it. It will overwhelm him. Don’t forget he is still a boy," Bai Ning shook her head.
"Men... they are lecherous," Zi Mei snorted.
Xuan Xue just listened to them without interfering.
...
Lin Feng came a little down and reached the origin of the river. He was just walking calmly. But his mind was anything but calm.
He really couldn’t figure out the reason why he felt that extreme reaction when his master touched him. He did have some knowledge about extreme uncommon reactions though.
They were mostly mutual and only happened when something resonated between both individuals. That’s why he had a feeling that his master felt the same.
He immediately turned to the right as a woman landed beside him. It was none other than his newly acquired aunt.
"What are you thinking?" Xuan Lian asked the moment she touched the ground.
"Nothing much..." How could he just tell her that?
"That was a lie..." Xuan Lian spoke immediately.
Lin Feng was speechless. He had forgotten that cultivators from Frozen Heart Sect could see through deceit.
"Well, forget it. Your master told us that you cannot cultivate properly."
Lin Feng nodded, as it was the truth.
Xuan Lian sighed and patted him on the shoulder.
"Don’t get sad, we will figure something out."
When she touched him, she tried to gauge any strange feeling, but nothing happened. She nodded inwardly.
"Aunt, I am not sad. There is definitely a reason for it. I have a feeling that I can figure it out somehow."
Xuan Lian nodded and smiled, "Look at me, I haven’t even gifted anything to my nephew."
She took out a light green sword. The whole sword seemed to be made from a single piece of jade. It looked ethereal.
"Take this. It’s a peak Core Formation weapon of higher grade."
Lin Feng nodded and took it. For a mortal like him, this weapon was of unimaginable worth.
"Sigh, if you had your memories, then I would have talked to you all day listening to your stories. If you don’t mind, we can still do that... but you have to listen to my stories instead... hehehe."
Lin Feng nodded immediately. "Why would I mind that, Aunt? I am more than happy to accompany you."
Looks like his master had told his situation to the others as well. As for accompanying his beautiful aunt, that was something no one should have a problem with.
"That’s a good answer, nephew, because if you had declined, then I would have forcefully dragged you to listen... hehehe."
Lin Feng looked at her bosoms. He really wanted to be forcefully dragged right now. Damn it, he really was a lecher.
"Let’s start with how me and your master joined this sect...
We were born in Xuan Clan, it is also in the northern region. Our mother was acquainted with the sect master of this sect.
So the sect master always used to visit us. She was stunned by the rapid progress in our cultivation, especially my sister. She wanted to take us as disciples, but joining this sect meant giving up your normal life, so our mother was a little against it.
But the sect master—who is our real master now—promised her that if in the future we wanted to leave, we could leave without any restriction. And mother agreed. Now we don’t even want to leave.
Actually, this is true for all our disciples. Some even leave to start their families.
Those who leave are mainly weak-hearted disciples who got ensnared by false emotions. Many men try to target our sect’s disciples. Especially those from Yin Yang Harmony Sect.
We always remind them not to get trapped in stupidity called love, because your partner definitely isn’t in love with you. They just want to conquer your body... but weak will is weak will, we can’t do anything about it."
Lin Feng nodded. Finding love in this cruel world so easily was a foolish dream.
"But not many do it. They know once they lose their maidenhood, they can’t cultivate our cultivation technique, so only those who are truly weak and ordinary, who struggle to cultivate it, leave. So it isn’t a problem for the sect in any way.
Well, that’s about that... once we joined, we became the disciples of our master. She had other disciples, and you have already met them recently."
Lin Feng understood. So all the peak elders were personal disciples of the previous sect master, meaning they all were senior and junior sisters to each other.
He was more surprised with his aunt talking to him about such topics. He was a man, after all. Not to mention, she was totally straightforward and walking too close to him.
