The legendary dragon card that Aisha and Miles had received from the Headmaster of Fusion Academy.

This time, the form Miles drew wasn't Timaeus the United Dragon, but the original Nameless Dragon.

That was why Locke Slint's aged face showed rare shock when the Millennium Eye saw the card Miles had drawn.

The Nameless Dragon's card bore no text at all. Not a single word.

Even with the Millennium Eye, Locke could glean nothing.

"Keep staring, old man. If you can read even a single word, I'll be impressed!"

Miles revealed and activated the effect of the blank card. Even he had never before used Timaeus the United Dragon this way.

"At a time like this, using Fusion Academy's famed Legendary Dragon card? As expected, Aisha Carlos—you're a true Fusion Duelist!" Deion Kaiser's eyes lit up.

The "Legendary Dragon" cards were known across the Spirit Continent, celebrated since the Fusion Academy Festival. After enduring the Headmaster's special trials, the three winners had learned how to awaken the power hidden in the Nameless Dragon.

By fusing with other cards, the Legendary Dragon revealed its potential.

Timaeus the United Dragon could fuse with Dark Magician monsters to form new forms of the Legendary Dragon.

Miles didn't run Dark Magician—but he had Dark Magician Girl.

He threw Dark Magician Girl and the Nameless Dragon card high into the palace air.

The beautiful girl materialized in the sky, twirling her short black wand—her MAX-level cuteness on full display.

"I fuse Timaeus the United Dragon with Dark Magician Girl! Awaken, maiden knight beyond magic!"

Timaeus soared, merging with Dark Magician Girl, their clash birthing radiant light.

"Nameless Dragon, awaken hidden power! Fusion Summon! Dark Magician Girl, the Dragon Knight!"

Her magical garb was now silver-white armor. Riding the Legendary Dragon Timaeus, she radiated both charm and valor.

Nova squealed, "A Dragon Knight girl—so cool!"

It seemed that after the Dragonmaid battle, Nova had awakened the archetypal Duelist's "dragon-lover" instinct.

Luca, bound nearby, thrashed in alarm.

"A Fusion Monster with 2600 Attack? That's 100 higher than Utopia! All Grandpa's fault… why'd he add that stupid condition about losing if he took even 100 damage?!"

She didn't know Utopia's effect. Miles did—declaring an attack would only be stopped.

So he had to break through another way.

"The Dragon Knight's effect, activate!"

[Once per turn: discard 1 card; target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy it. This effect can be activated during either player's turn.]

"I discard 1 card to target Number 39: Utopia—destroy it!"

Not by battle, but with Dark Magician Girl's effect, he severed fate.

Her silver blade roared with dragon's might. Crimson magic flared with Timaeus's breath, striking down Utopia.

"—Dark Dragon Knight Girl Burst!!"

The palace floor shattered as the Legendary Dragon's power destroyed Utopia, stolen by Dark Planet. Aisha cried out in pain.

Aisha yelled, "I'll never forgive this Cuckold for this betrayal!"

Miles shouted, "Then let's slaughter this Cuckold right now."

With Utopia gone, Miles's attacks would no longer be stopped. Now, Dark Planet had to be destroyed—its control-snatching effect paired with the Millennium Eye was unbearable.

"Battle! Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight!"

The Dragon Knight charged, sword blazing, striking the cosmic fiend.

Both at 2600—an even clash. The palace shook with the force of planet and dragon colliding.

Locke's face finally grew serious.

"To think you'd fight back this far with just one card… As a Duelist, Aisha Carlos, you show the highest potential."

"What's happening? Same Attack power… why's Dark Planet losing ground?" Luca gaped.

Though equal, the Dragon Knight's sword gradually pushed Dark Planet back.

"Go, Dragon Knight! Planet Splitter—Dragon Star Break Slash!!"

"Hyahh—!!"

With Miles's damage calculation and the Dragon Knight's fierce cry, her sword split the dark planet in two.

Though she, too, was 2600 ATK, Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight stood victorious.

"Well done, Kuriboh!"

"Kuri kuri!"

The key had been the Relinkuriboh Miles had discarded earlier when destroying Utopia.
