Following the route should lead them to Lefiya and the others.

Starting from the 51st floor, the dungeon's structure was markedly different from floors above 50.

The ground, ceiling, and walls were bright black, with intricate, uniform passages linking vast rooms.

At first glance, it resembled upper floors for rookies, but its scale was far grander.

Without a map, navigating these maze-like rooms would take ages.

Monster spawn rates far exceeded those of floors below the 50th.

Roy and Ais outran monsters at high speed, avoiding delays.

"There's movement ahead," Roy said after ten minutes, catching faint vibrations.

"Likely Lefiya and them," Ais nodded.

On a deep floor, only the Loki Familia or monsters would be present.

Crossing a cave room, they reached another massive chamber.

They found Lefiya, Gareth, Tiona, and Tione.

Except for Lefiya, the others bore gruesome venom-corroded scars from enhanced Virga, resembling flame burns, glowing purple with poison.

Lefiya, protected in the center, chanted spells, shifting positions to cast.

Her face showed exhaustion; she'd cast multiple spells, her mind waning.

"Lefiya, how many more spells?" Gareth asked gravely, facing several massive black rhinos—Level 5 monsters with steel-thick skin, briefly rivaling Level 6 strength.

With a weapon, Gareth could handle them.

But his equipments were destroyed by Virgas, making bare-handed combat tough.

"Two… no, three!" Lefiya gritted her teeth.

She was drained but could squeeze out three Fusillade Fallarica and arcs ray casts to clear some monsters.

"Good, clear a path fast. We've lingered too long here," Gareth nodded.

"Tiona! Lefiya!" Ais's voice cut through the quaking rumble.

"Ais! Roy!" Tiona looked up, surprised.

"Miss Ais," Lefiya's fatigue eased, joy flickering.

"Don't relax!" Gareth shouted.

A jarring tremor shook the room—an unnatural quake.

A bone-rattling roar, like a monster boss's, followed.

"Boom—!" The ground erupted.

A crimson shockwave burst, a towering flame pillar.

Scorching heat flipped the floor like a detonated landmine, piercing it.

Red flames engulfed the passage, incinerating all monsters.

Tiona, Tione, and Gareth narrowly escaped.

Lefiya wasn't so lucky.

Low on mana, she could only dodge minimally.

The vast explosion overwhelmed her, and a deformis spider hindered her.

She fell into the blasted hole, dropping to the floor below.

"Damn it!" Gareth's eyes narrowed angrily, but he didn't jump rashly.

"Tiona, Tione, don't!" Gareth stopped the Amazon sisters from leaping to save her.

Scarred and equipmentlesz, rushing in would likely kill them.

Better to seek Finn's aid.

The attacker was likely the Valgang Dragon from the 58th floor.

This was the difference on these floors: monsters from lower floors could snipe adventurers across floors.

Lingering too long made them targets for Valgang Dragon cross-floor attacks.

"I'll save her," Roy said, darting past Gareth into the red-stained hole.

"Roy!" Tiona cried, wanting to follow, but Gareth held her back.

She could only watch.

"Ais, we return to camp fast, inform Finn, and prep a rescue!" Gareth, a veteran Level 6, judged calmly.

"Yes," Ais's face showed conflict, but she nodded.

Rescue required more hands.

Roy's strength should hold until help arrived.

As Roy jumped, the system pinged repeatedly.

The floors after the 51st were closely spaced, with thin walls, enabling Valgang Dragons to snipe across multiple floors.

This suited Roy's purpose at the moment.
