The girl in a jet-black gothic lolita dress sat on the edge of the skyscraper's rooftop, gazing down silently.

Her calm, dark eyes held a stillness, as if nothing could stir her emotions.

"Why did Ophis appear in Kuoh Town..." Roy murmured, frowning in thought.

In this world, Roy's only advantages, besides his system, were his knowledge of the plot.

His presence had disrupted the main storyline, but the broader events should still follow their natural course.

As the saying goes, fate or destiny cannot be defied.

Roy's influence was mostly confined to Kuoh Town, specifically Kuoh Academy.

Beyond that, the world continued to unfold as it should. Events that were meant to happen still occurred.

"Partner, don't worry too much. Ophis is no threat to us," Ddraig's voice echoed in Roy's mind.

"I know," Roy replied with a nod.

Ddraig was right.

Ophis posed no threat. More accurately, Roy and Ddraig together couldn't pose a threat to her, so she had no reason to be dangerous.

Ophis, the Dragon God of Infinity, was a being of unmatched power.

Among the top ten strongest in the world, she held the second place, her strength so vast that even the combined might of the other eight powerhouses wouldn't be enough to challenge her.

Only great red could defeat her.

Roy stared at Ophis atop the building, deciding to approach her.

She had already noticed him, her gaze locking onto his. Ignoring her now would seem too deliberate.

But as Roy took a step toward her, Ophis vanished from his sight.

The rooftop's edge, where she had been sitting, was now empty, as if her presence had been an illusion.

"Long time no see, Ddraig."

A voice devoid of emotion, yet timeless, spoke beside Roy's ear.

Without warning, Ophis appeared at his side.

The surrounding pedestrians didn't notice her sudden arrival, moving around her naturally, as if she had always been there, blending seamlessly into the environment.

Roy's breath caught.

This was the power of the world's second strongest.

She had crossed kilometers in an instant, without Roy sensing her approach until she spoke.

Only then did the crowd begin to notice the gothic clad girl.

"Our first meeting, Ophis," Roy said, looking at the expressionless girl.

"My name is Roy Flott, the Red Dragon Emperor of this generation."

"Roy Flott. I remember your name," Ophis replied, her eyes meeting his as she nodded.

"Come with me. This isn't the place to talk."

Both Roy and Ophis stood out among ordinary people, drawing attention wherever they went.

Roy gently took Ophis's delicate hand, soft like any young girl's, yet capable of unleashing devastating attacks.

She didn't resist, allowing him to lead her to a nearby dessert shop.

This bustling part of Kuoh Town was filled with pedestrians and shops.

Rather than searching for a secluded corner, Roy chose the closest dessert shop for their conversation.

"Ophis, what would you like?" Roy asked, ordering a chocolate ice cream at the counter before glancing down at her.

"I have no need for food. I'm not here for such trivial things," Ophis replied, her tone ancient despite her youthful appearance.

As a being of infinite power, she had no need to eat to sustain herself and showed little interest in human food.

"Same as mine, then."

When they were ready, he carried the small box with two cups and led Ophis to a private booth.

Roy and Ophis sat side by side on the sofa. He placed one ice cream in front of her, but she sat motionlessm

"Ophis, why are you here?" Roy asked as the Boosted Gear materialized on his right hand, Ddraig's voice carrying the question.

"I was passing by," Ophis said plainly.

"I heard you were in this city, Ddraig, so I stopped to look."

As a dragon with ties to Ddraig from ages past, it wasn't strange for Ophis to appear in Kuoh Town, given her worldwide wanderings.

"What do you want from us? Not just reminiscing, I assume," Roy gave her a confused look.

"I didn't intend to disturb you," Ophis replied, her delicate face expressionless.

"But when I saw you, my instincts told me you might help me reclaim eternal silence."

"Following your instincts, then?" Roy chuckled helplessly.

The stronger one became, the sharper their senses.

Some could even predict the future.

For a being like the Infinite Dragon God, extraordinary intuition was expected.

Still, Roy hadn't anticipated that Ophis's instincts would involve him.
