Either E Or S Class: I Will Kill All Vampires.
Chapter 9: Ch 9: Silence.
CHAPTER 9: CH 9: SILENCE.
SILENCE.
Not the silence from no noise but from too much.
As bullets sprayed from every direction, defeaning Levi, he crouched down trying to avoid getting shot.
He used his arms like a canopy over his head, the lashes from the muzzles of guns like rapid lightning.
The only thought running through his head, ’Why the hell are humans shooting at us too.’
It wasn’t hypnosis, he could always tell by the pheromones residue of the person if it was, this was completely willing.
Not one but many as they all placed their guns against the rails of the upstairs and opened fire.
Levi froze instantly.
Selene rushed towards him and she barely dragged him over a stationed stand for cover.
She raised her voice, trying to overcome the bullet echoes that chipped the stand which they were currently behind— it wouldn’t last much longer.
As her words had no effect on him, she only had one choice—
Plak!
She slapped him across the face then held him by the collar and screamed in his face.
"Don’t think, just kill who shoots at you."
And with that she held out the gun for him.
’ Alright, let’s do this.’
Grabbing the gun, he rolled out from behind the stand, gun already pointed up.
BANG! BANG!
Aiming for the two shooting at the stand he shoots them.
Headshots as they fell over the rail.
A vampire lunged after him, tackling him to the ground as it snarled and stretched its head for Levi.
BANG!...
He shot at its guts continually while swerving his head left and right to avoid its jaws.
’Either it’s immune or it’s just working too slow.’
He forced his knees together then he buckled them.
"Unghhh..."
As he pushed its body over him, using its momentum and slamming its back against the floor.
He turned but so did it.
They both crouched down low, Levi tucked the gun under his belt buckle and clenched his fists.
It came at him first.
Extending its claws left and right as Levi dodged backwards before grabbing its wrist and turning his back—
BAM.
He slammed it on the floor before pulling the gun from his belt.
BANG!. Once for death. Twice for certainty.
In the corner of his eyes— Selene struggled with two vampires, he rushed to her.
He raised his gun before he emptied two rounds into their heads.
He still marched towards Selene, "What’s the plan here?!"
She loaded another round into the gun as she spoke, "It’s time to face the light."
Levi raised a brow, completely confused before—
"Watch out."
Selene tackled Levi, a bullet sprinted past his head, merely a whisp of air away from his head.
He didn’t respond to her— he got up immediately.
CRACK!
He vision swarmed as a punch rattled his skull.
Taking a few startled steps back before tracing his hand to his forehead to confirm— he was bleeding.
It wasn’t a vampire punch, just a fucking giant.
Selene tapped Levi on the shoulder, "You got this?"
Wiping the blood and sweat from his forehead, "Yeah, I got this."
She sprinted off to help the other, Levi cracked his knuckles and clenched his jaw.
The man moved first, trying again to punch Levi.
He sidesteps him, once, twice—
Before returning the favour of the punch and sitting the man down on the floor.
Stretching his hand out, "Are you done?"
He got up— shoved Levi back, right jab that took him to heaven and a left that brought him back.
The crack on his forehead still dripping red when Levi turned him onto the wall.
In a measure of strength, he was Stronger than Levi right now.
Body shots— arms, legs, guts.
But dropping his defence low enough for him to punch Levi in the stomach.
Levi immediately clutched his stomach, bile jumped to his throat.
He grabbed Levi by the neck and Rose him to his eye view, strangling him—
Levi’s face shot red, he scratched at his hands for a gap to breath.
Swerving his head left and right for the any thing to break out of this, but there was nothing in reach.
His view whitened in the corners, a burning feeling built up within his lungs and it became clear to him, he would pass out if held any longer.
Levi tilted his head back, creating enough separation and praying to have enough force as he drove his skull into the giant’s.
Forcing a release as it staggered back, trying to regain control—
Shnk~Shnk~Shnk.
Grabbing scissors from a desk— he rammed it into his thighs, forcing him down to a knee.
His face still red as he tried to even his breathing before pulling the gun from behind his back.
Levi, Pointing the gun at his head.
He just grabbed onto his thigh as he tried to stop the blood.
Levi’s hand trembled, for the first time the trigger felt heavy, he looked into his eyes for a second.
The giant’s voice was low but breaking up, "please, they’ll kill my family."
’Hoo... Haaa.’
Taking a deep breath, calming his mind, "You should’ve thought of that beforehand."
A round tore through his skull, the muzzle flash lit Levi’s face.
He finally moved over to Selene who was crouched for cover, "Selene, what’s the fucking plan?"
She turned to him, "The vampires are gone, it’s just the humans left..."
"So how do we take care of them?"
A rare smile tugged against his cheeks as she pushed on the comms within her ear, "Zack, Release Umbra."
HUSH.
The LUX soldiers all lowered their guns in unison as they all bent down for cover.
An eerie silence took over the room.
Which was then covered with the screams of enemy agents.
A thick cloud covered the floor and as such made it impossible to see anything apart from the numerous muzzle flashes from enemy rifles.
They shot at everything that moved but in the end were gutted by something that moved impossibly fast.
Cutting through the smoke like a bullet and tossing men like rag dolls.
The screams continued for about a minute before—
Nothing.
They all listened to each other’s breathing as Levi wondered what was really going on here.
Afterwards, a voice broke the silence, seductive, smooth and heavily British, "Selene, all done."
Selene was the first to step out before the LUX soldiers followed in suite to see the massacre of bodies—
Blood painting the walls and floors, heads left to roll on the floor with a permanent fear etched into their souls, no enemy soldiers was left intact.
But the surprising thing, She was perfectly pristine with not a sliver of hair out of place.
She was tall, with ocean blue eyes but not like those of a regular D-Class, a perfect figure, silver hair and a pale but immaculate complexion.
Levi stood slowly as he thought to himself, ’She’s the one who did this?’
