While the makeup artist was applying "injured" makeup to Mabel Quinn, Lilith, who came to play a crowd actor, whispered to Mabel, "I heard that this scene will have a rain scene, where we have to play dead bodies and be drenched by water. The temperature has dropped now. No wonder it’s hard to find crowd actors; they least want to take on jobs like this."

The script was written by Mabel Quinn, and she revised it herself. She naturally knew what the crowd actors had to do for this scene.

"Just bear with it, this is a major scene. In a couple of days, this film will be wrapped up."

"I just hope they can shoot it quickly so I can suffer less." Lilith shrugged and said.

After changing clothes and finishing their makeup, Lilith, Mabel Quinn, and other crowd actors followed the crew to the filming location.

At this moment, Grace Yowell was rehearsing with Orion, who plays the male lead. Upon seeing Mabel Quinn, her expression slightly changed. She then approached and said, "I didn’t expect you’d come over to be a crowd actor today. The conditions for today’s scene are quite tough. How about I have a word with the director and let you leave first?"

What was she urgent about? Did she not want her to stay on the film set?

"It’s no problem. I’ll have a word with the director. Finding a few more crowd actors isn’t difficult. My agent knows a small leader among crowd actors. One phone call, and people will come." Grace said.

Mabel said, "I don’t need it. Anyway, I don’t have much on hand now. I’ll just treat it as an extra experience of being a crowd actor. Maybe next time, I can write a script about crowd actors or something."

"I don’t need it either. Consider it an increase in my life experience." Lilith echoed.

Grace’s face was full of awkwardness and disappointment. She originally just wanted Mabel to leave quickly, but now, her goal wasn’t achieved, and she still had to busy herself finding other crowd actors to fill in.

After Grace walked away, Lilith asked, "Do you think Grace Yowell was being a bit ’too’ kind just now?"

"Too kind indeed." Mabel murmured, but some things, once they exceed a certain degree, may indicate there is a problem.

When Daniel Harris appeared at the filming location, Mabel vaguely understood why Grace Yowell was in such a hurry to send her away. Did she not want her to encounter Daniel?

Daniel Harris... once known as Isaac Zimmerman, at this moment, his eyes were no longer covered with bandages. He looked almost the same as before, as if the painful, vulnerable state at the hospital was just a figment of her imagination.
