CHAPTER 520: CHAPTER 538: STARTING THE WEDDING DRESS PHOTO SHOOT

Alice Conley harbors quite a grudge against Grace Yowell.

"How’s Daniel Harris’s injury now? I saw in the news earlier that there were reports of him being discharged," Alice asked.

"The other injuries shouldn’t be a big problem, but his eyes need surgery. However, he’s currently refusing the operation," Mabel Quinn replied.

"Huh? Why is he refusing?" Alice was puzzled.

Mabel lightly lowered her eyelids. Why... it’s not like she doesn’t understand, but now she can only do her best to persuade him.

Alice felt somewhat embarrassed, silently cursing herself. She shouldn’t have brought up Daniel Harris, so she immediately changed the topic, "By the way, have you and Kyle finalized the wedding date?"

"We haven’t set a specific date yet. It should be around the start of spring after the New Year, but Kyle is already arranging many of the wedding details," Mabel said.

Alice grinned, "Then it’s settled, I’m going to be your bridesmaid!"

"Then it’s okay for Dorian Howards to be the groomsman?" Mabel asked back.

Alice’s expression immediately fell. Dorian is Kyle’s friend and still unmarried, so being a groomsman seems quite logical.

After struggling for a while, Alice indignantly said, "Whatever, even if he’s the groomsman, I still want to be your bridesmaid."

Mabel chuckled; sometimes Alice is just so adorable.

"When are you planning to take your wedding photos? It seems like people usually take them months in advance since post-production takes time," Alice reminded.

"Kyle mentioned it yesterday," Mabel said. "He said he’ll arrange for us to take some photos first in J City, and then some more in Falling City."

"Not shooting abroad?" Alice asked, "I noticed it’s quite trendy now to have wedding photos taken overseas."

"I still feel like the scenery in J City and Falling City holds more meaning for me," Mabel explained.

"True," Alice agreed and then started to imagine, "By the way, how many outfits are you planning for your wedding photos? Wow, come to think of it, CEO Kyle’s physique looks great in any suit. Your wedding photos will surely look amazing... Oh my, too beautiful, just imagining it feels breathtaking..."

Mabel couldn’t help but laugh again. Hearing Alice say all this made her suddenly eager to take the wedding photos with Kyle right away...

It turns out that the CEO’s efficiency is always high. Just a week after mentioning the wedding photos, the next weekend Mabel followed Kyle to a wedding photography studio in J City, where Kyle had reserved the entire place for the day.

The entire shooting team, from stylists to photographers, were top-notch. Even the indoor scenes meant for shooting were specially designed, ensuring they wouldn’t be found anywhere else.

The wedding dresses Mabel was to wear were all airlifted from France, custom-made to fit her measurements.

Sitting on the chair in the makeup room receiving her makeup, Mabel couldn’t help but once again marvel at Kyle’s efficiency.

After the makeup artist finished her makeup, styled her hair, and placed a small diamond-encrusted crown on her head, Mabel was a bit in a daze staring at her reflection in the mirror.
