CHAPTER 560: CHAPTER 581 COOKING

Kyle Kinston turned around, walked slowly to stand in front of Daniel Harris, suddenly bent down, and leaned in close to Daniel’s face. Those dark, phoenix eyes met the unfocused gaze. Could these eyes be the ones Mabel longed for twelve years?

"If your eyes remain blind, it will forever be a thorn in Mabel’s heart, and now I want to completely remove that thorn." Kyle spoke in a low voice only audible to the two of them, "Daniel Harris, how capable do you think you are to make me regret?"

Daniel Harris’s body trembled sharply as Kyle Kinston straightened up and left the conference room.

Dr. Jeton and his medical team remained in the conference room, and only then did Mr. and Mrs. Harris finally breathe a sigh of relief.

On the surface, Daniel Harris remained calm and unruffled, but the hands placed before him slowly clenched, as his nails relentlessly pierced into his palms.

He really wanted to see what Kyle Kinston’s face would look like on the day he regretted.

The feeling of deep regret he had tasted, he wondered what kind of scene it would be like when Kyle Kinston would taste it one day.

Mabel Quinn’s fever subsided completely after a day of medication, and as for her sprained ankle, it recovered within two days, allowing her to move energetically again.

Recalling how she had twice promised to cook a meal for Kyle Kinston and hadn’t fulfilled it, Mabel Quinn, after getting off work this time, asked the driver to take her to the supermarket for a big shopping spree.

Wishing to sincerely express her apology, she had even specifically searched online for some cold dish recipes over the past two days to make the meal more varied.

After buying the ingredients, as Mabel Quinn passed the third floor of the supermarket, she suddenly paused upon seeing some plush toys placed in a display crate.

She remembered the day they were taking wedding photos when Kyle had looked at that big plush bear. He said that when he was a child, he wanted a plush bear but was never able to have one despite asking his mother several times.

Thinking of this, Mabel Quinn walked over to the toy section shelves, picked the largest plush bear, and then went to the counter to pay.

Back at the Kinston residence, she placed the bear on their bedroom bed and then dashed into the kitchen to start working. By the time Kyle Kinston returned home, Mabel Quinn had nearly finished most of her preparations.

"Why the sudden urge to cook today?" Kyle Kinston asked while eating the dishes.

"I had long promised to make you some special dishes, so consider today as making up for what I owed before." She replied, then eagerly asked, "Do the dishes suit your taste?"

"They suit my taste very well." He smiled and said, "They’re also very delicious. If I could enjoy your cooking every day, it would be quite nice."

"That can be arranged." She replied, "Then from now on, I’ll cook dinner for you every day."

"But don’t you still have work? Can you manage to make dinner every day?"

It seemed... somewhat challenging. If there were any delays at the studio, she might not manage it, and considering their scriptwriting work, once filming started, the schedule would be even more unpredictable.

Mabel Quinn looked conflicted, and Kyle Kinston said, "Alright, I was just saying it casually, and you took it seriously. Even though I really like your cooking, I wouldn’t want you to tire yourself out. There’s always the chef at home, so whenever you feel like it, just make a meal then."
