Alice Conley was enthusiastically talking when she was called into the office by Brother Kwan, the head of the Studio.

"I’d rather Brother Kwan scolded me! He actually wants me to make a trip to Howards Group and confirm with Dorian Howards about what New Year’s goodies will be given to the Studio this year. Is this something a CEO should handle? Isn’t it supposed to be done by subordinates?" Alice was genuinely outraged.

Mabel knew that this was most likely Dorian wanting to see Alice, thus "abusing his power" a little. But since Dorian is now the big boss behind the Studio, even if Alice was unwilling, she still had a bit of professional ethics. Her boss had spoken, so she obediently grabbed her bag and set off for Howards Group.

Alice arrived at the entrance of Howards Group, took a deep breath, and decided on her strategy: quick and decisive action. She planned to say what she needed to and leave immediately, regardless of whether Dorian tried to intimidate her or deceitfully entice her. Alice proceeded to the elevator and directly pressed the button for the president’s office floor. But when she pushed the door open, she was immediately petrified.

Inside the president’s office, Dorian Howards had one arm around Catherine Willis’s waist from behind, preventing her from falling but causing the documents in her hand to scatter all over the floor.
