Capítulo 892: Chapter 641: If It’s Wind, Then It Makes Sense… (Bonus Update)
Inside the Puppet Hall of the Titan Tomb.
Ye Ye and Nai Nai curiously observed the All-Star Guild members who hurried over upon receiving the notification about facing Gale.
They were over a dozen elegantly equipped silver players, led by a hunter specialized in the assassin class. He had black hair and red eyes, wearing a black cloak with an eagle-beak hood, and carried two exquisite curved blades on his back that looked priceless.
His ID was “All-Star Acan,” which seemed to be a standard format for the core members of this professional guild, as most of the players in the group had similar IDs.
He led a group of well-equipped players and stopped in front of Ye Ye and the others, his gaze lingering on the exaggerated amount of obsidian in the hall, with a touch of amazement on his face.
Then, he gave a thumbs up to Gale and the others:
“Impressive, Gale, finding so much obsidian! This really solves the main city’s problem; recently, we needed obsidian to build the city walls. The guild leader has mentioned it several times.”
“Hehehe, Brother Can, it’s just luck, thanks to Yezi and Nai Nai.”
Facing Gale scratched his messy hair, grinning with a hint of flattery in his tone.
He proceeded to introduce Ye Ye and Nai Nai to All-Star Acan:
“Brother Can, let me introduce you to our friends from the Titan Tomb exploration, newcomers from this public test, Nai Nai and Ye Ye. They discovered this hall and defeated the Black Light Puppet to get this obsidian.”
Made friends? We discovered the hall? Defeated the Black Light Puppet?
Hearing Gale’s words, the two newcomers were puzzled.
Though it’s true, it sounded… awkward?
As if all the obsidian credit was being ascribed to the two of them…
While Ye Ye and Nai Nai were confused, they saw Gale’s message in the group chat:
“Yezi, Nai Nai, just go along with it…”
“If the obsidian is considered a team discovery from the start, then it’ll count as a guild discovery, and the guild would suppress the price, converting some into guild contributions, which could mean a 30% cut to our individual earnings… that’s part of our guild member duties.”
“Guild contributions?”
Nai Nai was curious.
“It’s the guild’s internal currency for exchanging guild specialties and materials. Although guild contributions offer discounts on some guild items, they’re not as versatile as contribution points, which we lack, so… you know, no one really wants guild contributions; everyone prefers full conversion to contribution points.”
Hunter player Habsburg typed.
“I see.”
The two newcomers suddenly understood.
Their typing exchange took only a few seconds.
Beyond the typing, Gale enthusiastically introduced the newcomers:
“Yezi, Nai Nai, this is Captain Acan, captain of the first squad of our guild’s All-Star Team, ranked within the top 100 in combat power! The All-Star Team is our guild’s top elite expedition group!”
Top 100 ranking!
The two newcomers were in awe.
However, perhaps because they had seen the top 10 rankings before, even though the presence of All-Star Acan and his group was impressive, they didn’t feel as awestruck as when they saw the Holy Temple Knights in Chosen City.
More than that, they felt envy and curiosity.
Ye Ye couldn’t resist and checked the rankings, finding All-Star Acan ranked 87th in combat power, a full silver-level player with three Divine Artifacts!
The black eagle-beak cloak, the twin blades on his back, and the dagger at his waist were all Divine Artifacts!
While the two newcomers were curiously looking at All-Star Acan and his team, Acan and his team were also sizing them up.
After listening to Gale’s introduction, the seasoned All-Star player raised an eyebrow:
“Gale, you must be joking. The Titan Ruins aren’t a place for newcomers, let alone defeating the Black Light Puppet. I know well that the ones in the Titan Tomb are at least Black Iron Level at the start. Honestly, are these newcomers you brought in by your squad?”
Meeting Acan’s knowing gaze, Gale chuckled, with a serious expression:
“No, of course, Yezi and Nai Nai didn’t take them down alone. More accurately, they encountered other silver players who helped them beat it.”
“Silver players?”
All-Star Acan was taken aback.
He looked at the surrounding obsidian, full of disbelief:
“Would silver players leave the obsidian? This is worth tens of millions, right? Don’t fool me.”
“Exactly, what silver player would be so free and so unconcerned about money? Gale, you guys just want to keep all the contribution points, right?”
The other team members chuckled behind him.
Seeing the All-Star players’ expressions as if saying, “Don’t treat us like kids,” Gale wasn’t in a hurry.
He shook his head and said:
“No, Brother Can, you know the silver player who helped.”
“I know them too?”
All-Star Acan was puzzled.
Then, the Black Iron Team’s Druid player excitedly said:
“Gale! It was Feng from the Mengmeng Committee who helped Ye Ye and Nai Nai!”
