CHAPTER 26: MAKE YOU FEEL THINGS

She covered her body again just as he took off the blindfold and looked at her.

As his face closed up the distance between them, Aaliyah was enchanted by his eyes once more. The closer he got, the faster her heart pumped and the things she felt were just out of this world.

She tried to control her breathing, but all that was broken when a feathery touch caressed her lips. Unlike the last time when he had squished his lips against hers completely, this one was extremely light and simple...yet it touched her soul. His lips didn’t move, and neither did hers.

They both remained in that position as if neither of them didn’t know what to do next.

Spikes shot up her spine, and she started to crave more. Whatever had come over her was taking over, and she was growing more and more hungry for this...kiss.

She had no idea what to do with her arms, but they were feeling all tingly. Electricity traveled between their lips, and her breathing increased again. She wanted this to last forever and didn’t know when she lost control and added more pressure, deepening the kiss.

As if he had just been burnt, Alastair backed away from her. He was now standing, and his chest was moving faster than its normal strokes. The look on his face was still bland, but there was a slight flicker in his eyes that disappeared as soon as it appeared.

Guilt had Aaliyah biting her lip, a lump forming in her throat. She had become greedy and ruined such a perfect moment. She should have stayed satisfied and accepted whatever he could give.

As she kept staring at him, she prayed he wouldn’t be too mad at her.

"Forgive me," She uttered softly, shuffling her fingers nervously.

"No...that’s not it," He shook his head, looking a bit disoriented.

"It’s my fault. I was... pushing it. I shouldn’t have,"

"There’s... nothing wrong," He didn’t sound so sure of himself, and kept blinking more than usual.

"Okay," She nodded, making a mental note never again to ask him to kiss her again. And even if he does kiss her on her own, she would control herself and wouldn’t get greedy.

Alastair walked up to the bigger cupboard and chose another dress for her to wear. Just as she wanted, he put on the blindfold before helping her into the dress. Then, he got a towel and wrapped it around her wet hair.

"Give me a few minutes. I’ll be back with something you can eat,"

Just as promised, he returned with her lunch. It looked like a homemade meal, and she enjoyed every bite of it as he fed her.

"It’s delicious, thank you," She remarked happily.

"Little Siren," He called after putting away the dishes.

"Yes?"

"What... would you like to do, apart from what we just did?"

What would she like to do apart from kissing? That was the question, and she didn’t even think hard before giving him an answer, "I heard once, that this world is a huge place. Do you think we can...,"

Aaliyah stopped herself before she could say the rest and ruin everything again. Asking them to travel around and see the world would be too much of a request.

"Do you think we can just...?" She stopped again, biting her lower lip.

"But mind you," He said, sounding a little more intense, "Whatever you choose has to be inside the mansion. No leaving this house for any reason. Even if we do, we won’t wander far,"

Aaliyah didn’t think much about it. She just thought it was his way of telling her not to ask him for too much, skipping her mind that there could be a bigger reason why he didn’t want her going too far.

She nodded in understanding, "I came across the library, and I found it very interesting. Do you think you can take me there for the rest of the day and read out loud to me?"

She was expecting him to ask her why she couldn’t read to herself, and then she would have to explain to him that she was not privileged to go to school, but like he had been given a command, he carried her into his arms again and headed for the library.

Is this how he would keep carrying her every time till her foot heals? He might be strong, but won’t he grow tired with time? Carrying her all the time would weigh so much on him.

They got to the library and he requested she pick the book he was gonna read out to her. The first book with an interesting cover caught her attention and he sat down with her on his lap with her head resting on his shoulders. Aaliyah hummed in satisfaction and closed her melting, Inhaling him.

Unlike what Yuan had read to her, this story was very different. It talked about a man and a woman...and the things they were mostly doing to each other in the bedroom. Aaliyah didn’t know much about those kinds of things, but the further Alastair read, the redder her cheeks became.

"Alastair?" She called softly, her warm breath on his neck.

"Yes, Little Siren?"

"What...are they doing?" She inquired nervously.

"They’re having passionate sex,"

"Their genders?"

Alastair glanced down at her, and she quickly hid her face from view, "Yes, it does have something to do with their gender,"

"Sex is when you’re male or female, right?"

"It has another meaning,"

"That other meaning...is what they’re doing now?" She peeked up at his face again to find his eyes on the book again.

"Yes."

"It sounds intense," She bit her lip again, "What’s the use of having... passionate sex?"

"They’re in love with each other. Sex brings them even closer, and strengthens their bond," Alastair explained.

The next statement that popped into Aaliyah’s mind was thrown out of her mouth before she could control it, "Can we do it to strengthen our bond?" Her jaw dropped at her words, and she felt like she was sweating all over, "I...I didn’t mean to say that. I didn’t...,"

"If that’s what you want. After all, we are still within the vicinity of the mansion, right?"

Her cheeks were about to explode. Aaliyah didn’t know if she could do those things being mentioned, and some of it made her cringe... reminding her of Pastor Ramus.

"I was only Joking. I wasn’t thinking straight. Just keep reading," She urged impatiently.

"Are you sure?" He asked, making her stare at him again. The look in his eyes was a bit different again, sharper with a lazy look that had her swallowing. His head leaned down to meet hers, stealing her breath, "I can make you feel things you don’t even dare to dream about, Aaliyah,"
