Enchantment Of The Night
Chapter 50: What He Desires.
CHAPTER 50: WHAT HE DESIRES.
The excitement and pleased feeling Aaliyah had around him was refusing to go down. Sitting next to him inside the car as he drove down the road, she fought to keep Yuan’s warnings in mind. But, Alastair was so distracting.
He was like a breathing magnet that had all her attention and was pulling her thoughts back to him all the time, and not noticing his every breath was impossible. The shirt he was wearing complimented his statue, and one of the buttons was undone.
One hand was holding hers tightly, while the other was holding the steering wheel and controlling the car’s movements. The way his strong hand was gripping the wheel and rotating it had Aaliyah in a daze.
Could this man get any sexier than this? How could a task such as driving a car make him look so bewitching?
She swallowed, immediately turning to stare at her front when he made to look in her direction after feeling her feverish gaze on his physique.
"So?" He broke the silence.
Aaliyah tried to speak, but her throat was dry so she cleared her throat in an attempt to get her thoughts straight and stick to what she had in mind, "Drive through town. You’ll understand better if you see what I’m trying to talk to you about,"
They entered the town, and he slowed down the car. With people busy moving here and there, it was perfect.
"Look at that guy over there," Aaliyah pointed at a man, walking with his facial muscles clenched, and creased brows, "I could say he looks pissed, or he’s probably uncomfortable with something, or maybe he’s suspicious about something. Either way, he’s not feeling so good down here," Aaliyah explained and patted her heart.
Alastair listened quietly.
"Now look over there," She referred to an old couple walking by the side and smiling at each other, "That’s genuine happiness. You can see there’s nothing in their eyes but serenity and peace. Their eyes are twinkling, and they’re looking at each other like nothing else matters."
Alastair kept his eyes on the old couple as the car slowly drove past them.
As they kept moving, Aaliyah kept describing people’s emotions based on their expressions and movements as much as she could. From the angry ones to the frustrated ones and the ones with bland expressions. Alastair took in all the information as they came.
"Let me warn you though. I might be interpreting some of these things wrong. I’m not well adapted since I was stuck inside a building for many years of my life, but I’ve explained to the best of my ability," He had parked the car by the side, and they faced each other, "Emotions come from the heart. What you truly feel. People experience it every day. You cannot use your head every time. In fact, there were so many cases where your emotions took over common sense. The heart is powerful...and can blow like... like an erupting volcano. I don’t expect you to understand this since you don’t have a heart, but I do hope you’ve gotten the general concept of emotions,"
It was the first time she was teaching him something and even though it felt a little awkward since he’s always been the teacher, it also felt good to be able to give something back to him.
"I think I do," He nodded.
"Any questions?"
"Is there a way for people to hide their emotions and not let it show?"
"Yes, there is. They can suppress what they feel and keep their face straight. Or even make a different expression than what they’re feeling,"
"In those cases, how would you know they’re lying about how they feel and how can you tell what they truly feel?"
Aaliyah was silent for a few seconds, "Some people are not very good at hiding their true feelings. They could smile, but their eyes could be trembling with fear. While some others can hide what they feel completely, and unless you can read minds or a pro, I don’t think you can tell that their true feelings are hidden. You once read to me in a book saying Eyes are the windows to the soul...so...," Aaliyah smiled, not knowing what to say next, and shrugged.
"Let me try to interpret what you’re feeling now," He stated.
It made her a little nervous, but she nodded and sat still. Their eyes remained glued to each other for almost a minute, and her lips kept pursing. She didn’t even realize she had started playing with her fingers and softly biting her lips.
"You’re unsteady and anxious. Are you...scared?"
Aaliyah rolled her eyes, "Maybe I’m scared of you," She replied sarcastically, "But I am anxious. I mean, everything seems to be happening very fast. I feel like I’m going to crash and it’s all gonna end,"
"Hm," He said simply.
In an hour, The car was parked on an empty beach with calm waters. The small waves crashed along the banks, and Aaliyah did not know what had come over her.
She could hardly take her eyes off the water and kept staring like she was longing for it.
It was the most unnatural and weirdest thing that had ever happened to her. And there she was a while ago thinking Alastair was the only thing that could pull her attention this much.
"It’s beautiful," She said as they stood outside leaning on the car.
Aaliyah continued to ignore him unintentionally until his large frame blocked her view as he stood in front of her, and she snapped her gaze at his face again, a little upset he had done that.
This was the first time she was on a beach. It wouldn’t kill him to give her a minute or two to admire the large body of water in front of her.
"Move," She mumbled with a pout.
"You’re...angry,"
"A little," She eyed him, "Now, move,"
"I won’t," His eyes became harder.
"What? Why...,"
She was cut off as he swopped in and captured her lips Into a soft kiss. It was always remarkable what the kiss did to the both of them and how intimately their lips danced and glided over one another like they could never have enough.
When they pulled away, Aaliyah had forgotten about the beach and her face was red again, with slightly swollen lips.
Asking him why he had kissed her lingered on her tongue, but it could not make it out of her mouth. She was still very much breathless.
His fast breath was on her ear, gently nibbling on the hickey that was already there. He had both hands against the car, trapping her body there, "You’re wet,"
Aaliyah Froze. How did he know that? It’s not like she’s naked or anything.
"I want you naked right this second,"
He pulled her dress up, and she whimpered as she felt herself lifted with her back pressed against the car. There was no denying that she wanted it too, but..., "Alastair, we are outside. Not here,"
"We are alone," He grumbled as she felt him tear off her underwear. Memories of last night were driving him crazy, and seeing her just standing there was messing with his head.
"Still...," She cried softly when he pressed his groin against hers. He was already naked down there as she was too, "Anyone could...,"
There was no sign of patience and neither did he have the listening ears. Aaliyah gasped and her eyes shot open as he thrust in, filling her up completely to the brim. All sense of reasoning of words left her mouth, replaced by the curling and shattering feeling of pleasure threatening to make her explode.
She wrapped both legs around his waist as he pushed in and out of her tight embrace. She was sour from this morning, but the mix of pain and pleasure did justice to what she was feeling that was blowing her mind.
Soon, both of them were lost in each other. His guttural moans, grunts, and occasional curse and dirty words only made everything crazier. The praises that fell on her skin, and the way his member stretched her to its fullest, grinding against her skin.
The feeling always felt new.
The rest of the day was spent outside the mansion. They visited many simple places like malls, parks, and museums that Aaliyah had never been to. Alastair just sat in one place wherever they went while she ran around the place like an excited child who had just been let outside the house for the first time.
In this case, yes.
They headed back to the car in the evening with Aaliyah licking an ice cream in its cone. It was the most delicious thing she’d ever tasted, and the way it melted in her mouth brought joy to her.
But the most exciting thing about the evening was how everyone kept staring at them as they walked around. Women were drooling over Alastair and dropping their stuff without knowing, and even most men had their jaw-dropping.
And with Alastair holding her hand, eyes were also on her.
"Thank you for today," She smiled as they drove back to the mansion.
"There’s another way you can thank me," He said, looking ahead.
She asked, "How?"
"Pull out the Maqbath,"
Aaliyah’s heart struck faster, "I told you. I cannot touch what I cannot see,"
"Then there’s no other way to thank me,"
He was making her mad again, "You’re already perfect this way. What else would you gain if I happened to see it and pull it out? What is that other perfection you so desire?"
He didn’t reply immediately. There was a small commotion up ahead, and it seemed a bunch of people had gathered and were staring at something. The air was thick with smoke, and to Aaliyah’s horror, she watched as the church she had grown up in was burning profusely with fire blazing in the rooms and out of every window there was.
And with the confusion on everyone’s faces, it didn’t seem like any of the townspeople knew who had done this.
"Power, Little Siren," Alastair’s deep voice rumbled, pulling her attention back to him. His eyes were also on her, and they were empty as ever, "My Perfection...is my Power. And you...are going to give it back to me,"
Why...were his eyes losing more of the small color they had?
It had her skin crawling.
"Let me out of the car, Alastair," Her throat was itchy, but she still forced out in demand.
His eyes darkened, just Iike the night sky with no stars, "Too late, My Siren,"
