Endless Horde: Through the Eyes of a Godking
Chapter 764: The Main Body Moves
CHAPTER 764: THE MAIN BODY MOVES
--
Cedric spends way too much time immersed in the perspective of his clone that he almost forgot it’s not actually his main body.
Well, it couldn’t be helped; there’s very little difference between him and his clones, after all.
Cedric’s main body moved for the first time in a while. His joints and bones popped pleasantly in doing so. He stretched to oil up his muscles, as if teaching his body how to move again.
The main body has been in seclusion for about a decade now; it has truly been a while since it last moved, so this was necessary.
He spent a good amount of time just stretching and recalling what it’s like to actually move his own body. Once he was good, he tapped his foot and instantly disappeared from his seclusion chambers.
Cedric’s seclusion chambers had no visible entrance. It’s sealed from all sides and cannot be accessed by anybody except him. He’s the only one who could enter and exit the chambers. Even if by some miracle somebody managed to enter his seclusion chamber, the mechanisms he left inside will trap them in.
He doesn’t play around with his privacy and safety.
Upon stepping out of his seclusion chambers, the first thing he did was to scan his surroundings.
His sensory field unfolded in all directions, swiftly and accurately displaying everything that happened within the Primeval Scarlet Dust Realm. Yes, the entire realm. Cedric had grown so strong that his sensory field could cover the entire realm.
It could’ve extended even further if it weren’t for the void barrier stopping it.
The first people he searched for were his family, and it really didn’t take long before he found them.
His wives, Erica, Chrissy, and Isabella, were roaming the realm on their own. It’s something they do whenever he’s not around.
With their life evolution reaching the Primordial Realm, or pseudo-Immortal Realm, in the Primitive Universe, there was nowhere in this realm they could not go.
Yes, his wives have reached this level in their life evolution. And so were his children. In fact, his children reached this level earlier than their mothers did.
What? Do you think Cedric would neglect his wives even though he’s busy? Hell no, he will always make time for them. He’s not lacking in resources, so of course he wouldn’t be stingy.
Cedric didn’t like the idea of his wives dying before him. Their insufficient talent and opportunities can be made up for with the rich resources he got from the Primitive Universe, and since he doesn’t need them, he might as well give them to them.
That’s how his wives managed to reach the pseudo-immortal level.
Even though he used tons of resources to make up for their deficiencies. It doesn’t mean that his wives were pushovers.
Erica’s Light and Fire Laws are almost approaching the Great Law level, as are Chrissy’s Poison Laws and Isabella’s Water and Ice Laws.
Cedric had been bringing them out and exposing them to the raw and complete environment of the Primitive Universe now and then to make this happen, so it’s not surprising.
Yes, Cedric’s family is aware of the Primitive Universe as well.
As for his sons, of course they’re more impressive than their mothers. Godwyn, Gilderoy, and Gerald also reached the pseudo-immortal level much earlier and with fewer resources than their mothers.
All Cedric had to do was to expose them to the environment of the Primitive Universe from time to time, and they could handle the rest.
Godwyn could be said to be the best sniper in the entire realm. He had taken his art to a level where he could snipe someone’s history to deal with them.
Gilderoy’s affinity with nature made him its master. With a single wave of his hand, he could cover an entire solar system with forests and foliage.
And Gerald was a master of Fire and Ice. He switches between polar opposites as easily as flipping his palms. He even learned how to fuse Fire and Ice Law in varying ratios to create varying reactions.
This was the state of the Stormriders’ main family circle. To say that they stand at the absolute peak of this world would be an understatement.
After locating his wives, Cedric checked his children next.
His boys are busy managing their families, which grew considerably larger each time Cedric ended his seclusion. The Stormrider bloodline has grown into a full-on clan at this point. Cedric was now an ancestor, and his children great-grandfathers.
It shocks Cedric every time. He knew that at some point, this was inevitable, but he wasn’t expecting it to happen this soon. And with how things are going so far, this clan will only grow larger as time goes on.
Especially since there’s that one descendant who made it his life’s mission to truly populate the clan. And just to make things even more hilarious, he turned out to be Gerald’s grandson, who’s in his 20s now and has had five wives so far.
"Ahahahaha! That’s great! That’s really great! More little ones for me to play with!" Cedric laughed uproariously after learning this just now.
He doesn’t mind really. There’s no harm in expanding the family. There are plenty of spaces to fill anyway. There are also plenty of resources to use, so it’s all good.
After he’s done checking with his family, Cedric observes how the realm is doing so far.
’It’s the same as usual’ was the conclusion.
It’s peaceful, all things considered. The majority of those who lived within remain unaware of the Primitive Universe’s existence.
One thing to note is that, thanks to Cedric’s existence, humans have reached the top of the creature ranking. They now stand shoulder to shoulder along with ’The Six Leading Races’ of the Primeval Scarlet Dust Realm.
Their rise to prominence was at a rocket-like speed. Humans have integrated themselves well amongst other races and have made allies everywhere. Some even married and started a family with other creatures, thereby spreading the bloodline everywhere.
In truth, Cedric could just leave them be.
He truly doesn’t have to micro-manage his people anymore. Given time, the line between races will continue to blur, and with how everything has been set up by Odin, only the human bloodline will remain. It will take a really long time, but that will eventually happen.
Alas, plans can’t keep up with the changes.
"Even though we’re protected by the void barrier, I’m not comfortable leaving my family and my people inside the forbidden zone."
And so, along with the sweep of his senses, he sent a message for his wives and his children to gather to him. This invitation also extended to the chancellors of The Six.
**
"Oh, my husband’s out of seclusion, and he’s calling for me."
This is what Erica, Chrissy, and Isabella said as they excused themselves and left the places they were in just now.
"Dad’s out of seclusion," is what his children said before converging to the location he broadcasted.
The chancellors also reacted. Dropping everything they were doing just now to answer Cedric’s summons.
It took a whole day before everybody gathered in the same location. And after brief pleasantries for the reunion, Cedric went straight to what he had to say.
"Everybody, it’s happening. I’m taking everybody out of the Forbidden Zone. My clone already secured a new location for us, one that is a hundred times larger and more prosperous than this realm."
"By the end of the year, ready or not, I’m taking us out of here. Please make appropriate preparations."
His announcement stunned them, but only for a brief moment.
"So the time has finally come, huh?" The Wise Dragon Chancellor sighed.
"You work fast," Silas commented.
"I got a really good opportunity, that’s all," Cedric humbly stated.
"I’ll inform my staff right away, Dad. I’m sure they’d be excited." Godwyn then started sending messages to his crew.
"Warn them to be careful. We want to do things slowly to not cause a mass hysteria," Cedric warned his son. To which Godwyn nodded.
"It’s finally happening," Erica sighed as she leaned on him.
"Mn," Cedric hummed affirmatively.
The people in this room weren’t the only ones who knew about the Primitive Universe. There were other people too, ones that are trusted parties of the people in here.
Cedric arranged this way ahead of schedule. He talked about it with them even before he participated in Heavenly Star’s Millennial Tournament.
This secret will be out sooner or later, so it won’t make sense to hide it. But it also couldn’t be dropped like it’s nothing. A controlled release was necessary to prevent mass hysteria.
Slow and steady was the way. Besides, it’s also going to take some time before this realm can be integrated with the Primitive Universe.
They’ve got time, but they also have to move soon so that they could be done with this ahead of schedule. The Primitive Universe won’t wait for them, after all.
After saying what needed to be said, plus some more pleasantries, Cedric dismissed the meeting so that they could do their work.
As for him, he of course indulged himself with the presence of his wives. It’s been a decade since the last time, after all.
