Chi Yue suddenly asked her, "How did you know we were coming back today?"

"My brother called me, by the time he called, you were already on the plane. Honestly, if I hadn’t picked up the call, who would have come to pick you up?"

Fu Hanyan inhaled sharply, "Nan Yuan gave you the call?"

As she spoke, she took out her cellphone and dialed Nan Yuan’s number, only to be met with the mechanical voice of an operator stating the phone was switched off.

Chi Yue’s expression also took a turn for the worse, while Nan Bingyu remained oblivious.

However, Nan Bingyu looked somber, presumably having been filled in on the situation by Fu Hanyan.
