CHAPTER 115: YOU DIDN’T GO TO WORK?

When they arrived at the hospital, Bai Chenyao carried Gu Tiantian to the super VIP room.

Inside the room, doctors were already waiting.

Seeing Bai Chenyao, each of them showed respectful expressions, with a hint of caution, and some even had a flattering demeanor.

"Examine!"

"Mr. Bai, I will prepare to draw blood from the young lady for the examination now."

All the tests took only half an hour.

Once acute pancreatitis was ruled out, the doctors breathed a sigh of relief.

The doctor was startled, quickly nodding.

Perhaps because of the severe pain earlier, or due to the blood tests and such, Gu Tiantian had tossed and turned into sleep.

Her doll-like face, usually rosy and red, was now pale, her big dark eyes closed tightly, and her delicate brows were knitted together, evidently uncomfortable even in her sleep.

Bai Chenyao’s expression grew even colder.

"When will she recover?"

The doctor paused, quickly replying.

"Mr. Bai, rest assured, once Miss Gu wakes up, she’ll be fine. However, she must pay close attention to her diet, avoid overeating, and in the first few days, stick to light foods and avoid anything cold."

Bai Chenyao said nothing, his face cold as he looked down at Gu Tiantian lying in the hospital bed.

Li Mu, standing beside, quickly jotted down the doctor’s instructions.

After the doctors left, Li Mu approached Bai Chenyao, lowering his voice to speak.

"Sir."

Bai Chenyao seemed to know what he was about to say and raised his hand slightly.

"You handle it."

Li Mu didn’t show any surprise, nodded, then quickly turned and left.

When Gu Tiantian woke up, it was already two hours later, still early, not even eleven o’clock.

Even in the super VIP room, the unique smell of formalin from the hospital lingered.

Gu Tiantian frowned. How did she end up in a hospital?

Oh right, her stomach hurt.
