The Alchemy God left the room after that.

"So we don't find out what advantage we get until the competition actually starts?" Aethersage asked. "Makes me wonder if it's actually any good."

Alex nodded along. "Do you have any thoughts on what it could be?"

Aethersage shrugged. "We never knew what the competition was even going to be about, so I couldn't think of anything even if I wanted to."
