CHAPTER 303: ENDING THE KARMA

"I don’t care."

A single sentence escaped Tian Yongheng’s lips, like a stone thrown in still water or shattering glass, causing ripples to spread everywhere as his aura firmly concentrated in a singular point, pressing down on Tian Yuanzhao.

At this point, Tian Yuanzhao couldn’t even lift his head, writhing on the ground like a worm, utterly powerless!

He turned to look at Tian Yunchen, and the latter just nodded at him before vanishing from the spot. In the end, Tian Yunchen had been raised under Tian Yuanzhao’s shadow. He couldn’t bring himself to kill or even watch Tian Yuanzhao being killed by his younger brother.

Even the hatred in his heart couldn’t justify the act of killing someone once so close to him, so he left the matter entirely to Tian Yongheng.

Tian Yongheng, on the other hand, had never seen Tian Yuanzhao since his birth, having only heard of him here and there. He had no emotional attachment to this grandfather whatsoever.

And Tian Yuanzhao was directly reduced to ashes.

His Nascent Soul floated in the air, dazed as it looked at the place Tian Yongheng originally was at, only to find no one. He had already departed back to the Eternal Peak.

A self depreciating smile appeared on his face as Yin Soldiers appeared around him, taking him away to the Netherworld.

Nascent Soul cultivators could choose to possess a new body or create a physical body after their death, however, the latter was only possible if they made preparations beforehand and usually cost heavenly materials and earthly treasures, sometimes even Natural Treasures.

The former was the best choice for Nascent Soul cultivators, because the Yin Soldiers appeared almost as soon as they died, and escaping from them was useless. So, they would possess the body of any creature within their range as soon as they died.

Even Immortal Ascension Realm and Half Immortal Realm cultivators were not exempt from this rule of heaven and earth. Only after becoming an Immortal could one truly escape the five elements and the cycle of reincarnation in a sense.

However, Tian Yuanzhao had no feelings of resistance. He just wanted to reincarnate now and pay for all his sins. Maybe he was never meant to walk this path.

In the Eternal Peak, Tian Yongheng quietly arrived at his cave abode. Neither he nor Tian Yunchen talked about what happened, and no one else asked.

An indignant voice full of resignation echoed across the hidden secret realm of the Tian Family before an extreme aura locked onto Tian Shenming, clearly displaying a hint of disdain and mockery.

Tian Shenming lowered his head in the void, not daring to refute.

He complained quietly, not a word of discontent escaping his mouth.

Another voice rose, sharp with a domineering aura, as if pressing down on the very fabric of the secret realm’s rules of reality.

Tian Shenming grew even more pale upon hearing this. He wanted to retort, but had nothing to defend himself with.

If he had patiently waited and not directly destroyed the Jiangnan branch, none of this would have happened, and we would have also absorbed a peerless genius like the person from Eternal Peak into the main family, making great contributions by sending him to the Ancestral Family."

Another calm, ancient voice erupted, stilling even the flow of Spirit Qi itself, like a majestic mountain.

"You are right, but not truly so. From the strength he’s displayed, he should be an Immortal. However, cultivation speed of all geniuses drops down significantly after reaching the Immortal Realm.
