As for whether Charlotte would feel grateful toward her for the fact that she used a recovery potion on her?

If Charlotte did indeed felt grateful toward her, that would be great, and she wouldn’t mind acting friendly toward Charlotte, while at the same time, speak badly about Charlotte to Alan while behind Charlotte’s back.

And if Charlotte didn’t feel grateful toward her, that’s fine too. After all, she could use this particular incident to worsen Alan’s impression toward Charlotte by telling Alan that Charlotte was the kind of person that doesn’t know how to be grateful and so on.
