CHAPTER 15: CHARLOTTE AEL’S MOMENT OF VULNERABILITY

"However, personally, I don’t mind the kind of person that you truly are, Charlotte Ael."

The moment Charlotte heard what Alan said, Charlotte let out a confused mutter, seemingly to be unsure if she had really correctly heard what Alan had just said.

"Just because Clara Ael was born a year earlier than you, and just because her father is the current family head of the Ael Family, it meant that Clara Ael is destined to become the next family head of Ael Family...?"

While speaking, Alan placed his right hand onto Charlotte’s waist and pulled her body into his embrace, then began looking tenderly at Charlotte as he held onto her left cheek with his left hand and lightly caressed onto her left cheek.

As Charlotte listened to the words that were coming out from Alan’s mouth, light seemed to have returned to Charlotte’s eyes, and as she continued listening to Alan speak...

Alan’s words seemed to have resonated with her and touched a soft spot of her heart as tears could be seen to start flowing out from her eyes, and not long after, even though she didn’t want to, she couldn’t help but began sobbing.

When Alan was done speaking, Charlotte opened her mouth and tried to speak, but all that came out was the sound of her sobbing.

Upon seeing Charlotte’s reaction, a grin appeared on the corner of Alan’s mouth for a quick brief moment.

After all, looking at how Charlotte was sobbing right now, it was evident that she had been touched by Alan’s words.

Right now, it was the moment where Charlotte was feeling the most vulnerable, and it was the best moment for Alan to cement himself into Charlotte’s heart and make her start to truly fall in love with him.

Unfortunately for Charlotte, because she was rubbing her tears away with her hands, she didn’t see the grin that appeared on Alan’s face.

If she had seen the grin that appeared on Alan’s face, perhaps, there may be a slight chance that she would have been able to come to her senses and realizes that she was being played by Alan.

The moment Alan finished speaking, Charlotte finally stopped holding back her sobbing and began sobbing loudly.

Today will be a day in Charlotte’s life which she will never forget.

While speaking with a gentle tone, Alan placed his left hand onto the back of Charlotte’s head, then pulled her head into his chest.

And with his other hand, Alan began patting gently onto Charlotte’s back.

When Charlotte’s face landed onto Alan’s chest, while still sobbing loudly, Charlotte subconsciously hugged onto Alan’s waist with her hands.

Just like this, the two of them remained still in the positions that they were in for quite a while.

After what seemed like 10 minutes had passed, Charlotte’s sobbing finally came to a stop.

However, even after Charlotte’s sobbing had already come to a stop, both Charlotte and Alan continued remaining still in the positions that they were in.

"I’m... I’m fine now. You... you don’t have to keep on patting onto my back anymore."

And after a few minutes of silence, Charlotte finally broke the silence as she raised her head upward and looked toward Alan, then muttered shyly in a low voice.

While speaking, Alan held onto Charlotte’s waist with both of his hands, then pulled her body into his embrace.

The moment Alan pulled Charlotte’s body into his embrace, Charlotte was immediately able to feel Alan’s erected dick, which during all this time, had been erected and pressing onto her stomach, pressed even harder onto her stomach.
