As much as this is a problem however, something that he would rather not face despite braving this challenging training, he understands that this is also something that is improving his entire physical makeup more than ever before, proving the effectivity of the most classic destruction and reconstruction when training the body.

This unpleasantness doesn't last for too long though as the reason why he urged the Twisted Principality of Permanence into pushing his petrification power even further is the fact that he thought, or rather and better yet, felt that he is already on the cusp of touching something new, of reaching a new realm of strength that is unavailable for any other else within the lower floors of the tower.

Reading through the waves of information being dumped on him by the guide, the young man collapses on the ground as the moment that the monster in front of him dispels the petrification surrounding the entire dozen or so kilometer of land around them, a method to make sure that there will be no harm that will befall Azrael, or at the very last, the harm shall be minimal.

After reading through the messages of the azure floating screen that is becoming more and more familiar to himself nowadays, the young man then chooses to deny the world of his identity once more, merely relying on a nickname, or rather, a title that had sticked to him for decades already, a legendary title that will make anyone doubt whether it is true that the bearer of his title is a mere second floor ascender.

Now going to the main focus of this time where he checks the guide out, the young man starts having his eyes widen in an absurd, unbelievable state, still in disbelief that such a thing is the product and result of his severe, yet extremely short suffering, there, in his status panel, a new hidden stats right above the sealed Transcendence stats a new stats bearing the name, Resilience.

After looking at the single point of resilience he has, the young man becomes well aware of the fact that this is just the beginning of the hellish training he is about to go through, this fact not dwindling his determination to see through it in the slightest as he realizes just how important of a stat this newly acquired one of his is.

[Resilience: The ability of any existence in the tower to force their own body to endure beyond their theoretical limits. Ascenders with higher Resilience are able to resist majority, if not all of the method that any other ascender can use to damage opponent, the rate of this damage reduction being one in ten thousandth of a percent for every single point of resilience the ascender possesses.

In addition to that, any skill that can cause any sort of self-inflicted harm towards the ascender will have their negative effects reduced by a tenth of a percent for every point of resilience the ascender has.]

After checking the new hidden stats out, the young man then smiles as he clenches his fist, realizing that it is not in the damage reduction from external sources that this Resilience is great, but rather, towards internal damages that he might sustain using extremely taxing methods such as the one where he overloads his body with Demonic Energy to rival the opponent or even enemy turned friend in front of him.

"Looks like you already found out what this good stat is used for huh…" looking at the excited smile on the young man's face, Zhang Tian also smiles, feeling accomplished at the fact that this future star in the higher floors of the tower is his student during his earlier days.

'Well, that is for the future, I shouldn't worry too much about that right now… especially since I might not even live long enough to witness the feats that he will have in the future…' the Twisted Principality of Permanence thought to himself as he shakes his head, feeling quite a pity that he wouldn't be there anymore to watch this short time student of his' ascent to greatness.

"Indeed, if I can continue progressing the level of resilience, then there's no way for me not to mitigate the negative effects of overloading my own body with Demonic Energy, much less some other skills that I have" the young man nodded at the question that the Twisted Principality asked, feeling quite excited at the prospect of his power increasing even more despite him already reaching his 'limits' multitudes of times already, and time and time again breaking through it before improving through it once more.

"I can handle more, let's continue with this…" as he clenches his fist for a while trying to measure out the changes in his strength, the young man stated as he looks at the Twisted Principality, said towering figure merely smiling before once again, he releases his petrification domain rooting the young man in his place.
