Absurd, almost impossible ideas, while oftentimes result in a disappointment compared to the expectation of the one who performed then, still, in the rarer cases, produces results either so lacklusterly disappointing or astonishingly surprising, to the point that everyone around witnessing this absurd, almost stupid theoretical idea will just have their mouths hang off their faces as they bear witness to either the most impressively unimpressive or the truly impressive event unfolding in front of them.

In the current case, it is the rarer latter that is happening right now, the fact that those two significant, if not a major part of Azrael's combat prowess melding perfectly with each other despite the absurdity of it all.

As the invisible wave of attack cleaves through every single thing in its path, it remains completely undetectable to the less discerning eyes, making this just all the more impossible to avoid.

What makes it even more terrifying right now though is not the fact that it feels like its presence is less pronounce, in fact, there is even a slight, infinitesimally small fluctuation that is not there from when the young man has yet to infuse these attacks with his Demonic Energy yet.

What this version of his skill, Slashing the Void lacks in subtlety and stealth though, it makes up with absolute destructive power that obliterates everything in its path, treating anything like air as it even effortlessly slices through the hardest of rocks, leaving behind a smooth trace of the path that it was attempted to be stopped on.

And facing this very attack that seems to just remove, purge everything in its path, the Twisted Principality of Permanence, instead of cowering in the sheer terror of such skill, merely smiles as he felt his blood boiling even greater than before, the result of one session of training with this unyielding young man alone making him believe more and more that he is definitely going to be the one to grant his long-awaited glorious death.

'No need to rush myself, I've already seen such treasure, it would be such a waste if I won't polish it to the best of my ability before I leave this shitty hell hole…' thinking to himself a thought that would make him shaken to the core should he realize it, Zhang Tian's voice echoed in his own mind, the fact alone that he is considering to live just a little bit longer for the sake of helping this young man improve something that he would have never done before.

Sure, he might have also considered doing it from when he just ascended, from when he was just a benevolent divine aspiring to rid, or at the very least, lessen the world of its pain, but the moment that he turned into the being he is now, wanting nothing more than his own release from such suffering, there's just no way he would have the patience to teach the young man to improve even more when he already saw his chance for that glorious final battle he so long for.

As he was preoccupied with such thoughts, he fails to realize that among those powerful, yet fluctuating attacks that Azrael is sending in, he is also mixing several normal Slashing the Void attacks in, making it even more difficult to detect as his opponent was forced to focus more on the slashes he mixed with Demonic Energy.

With this as a point he fails to consider, most likely due to him thinking more about how he can improve the training even more rather than on the fight, one, just one single slash passes through all of his effortless parries, the fact that this one slipped through his defenses even if he's not really using his total, complete strength something that will shock every single person he knew, to the point that they would definitely want nothing more than to poach this young man for themselves.

Feeling something burying through his long -time hardened skin, cracks spread around it a testament to how old and broken he already is, the Twisted Principality, in all of his surprise, fails to contain himself as he smiles, looking at the wound flowing out of his still warm, blood pumping flesh, his pause not making it any easier for Azrael's remaining attack to pass through his defenses.

'Holy fucking…' looking at the scene in front of him, Azrael couldn't help but curse in his own mind as one second, he was still relentlessly attacking this instructor of his with all that he can, merely suppressing his final boost of strength as he just refuses to completely use his Demonic Energy just like how he used it previously.

Seeing what just happened in front of him though, he starts reconsidering such thing through, wondering if he should truly use Demonic Energy in such manner and push himself to the limits once more.

And even then, he still doubts whether he can stand a chance against the monster that is Zhang Tian, the man who had fallen here seemingly from the higher floors of the Ethereal Tower, spending his life as the treasure guardian defending the prime treasure of the second floor from any covetous hand.

The very same man that reveals the true extent of one of his abilities for the first time that Azrael had seen it, the sole visual impact of the scene in front of him making him awestruck, his fist clenched as a sole though echoes all across his mind.

'Someday… I will surpass that… someday…' with nothing but confidence and excitement in his eyes as he looks at what could possibly make other second floor ascenders like him fall into absolute despair and just forget, or give up ascending to hinger and higher floors, the young man thought to himself, wondering not how hard will it be nor how long will it take for him to reach such heights but rather how much more fun it will be not only to reach such height, how much more fun it will be to enjoy the road to get there.

Who wouldn't fall into despair looking at such sights? After all, Azrael's Slashing the Void is more than likely the strongest offensive skill the second floor of the tower has to offer, boasting capabilities in multiple important aspects, its destructive capabilities, the fact that it is possibly one of the stealthiest attacks ever, as well as the fact that it moves swift as well, seemingly a power that has the chance to break the balance should it improve further in the long run.

Add to that the fact that some, if not most of those are infused with the destructive Demonic Energy, grants us the most terrifying torrent of attack the second floor's ascender has to offer, and yet, despite all that, all it takes is a single, seemingly passive ability to deal with all of that trouble.

Not an army, not a squad, not even a single team of ascenders were needed to deal with such massive, terrifying attack, all it takes is a single monster along with his ability to stop all of this.

Creating a visuals that will make artists, painters tremble in excitement of taking inspiration, probably even straight up copying the sight in front of Azrael should they be fortunate enough to take a look into it, a towering spire of nothing but stone spreads all across, the middle-most parts of said spires curving towards the man in the middle of it, those pure, white, marble-like stone polished enough that it can even reflect some of the great sun's light on them, making them glow in a divine manner that will make just about anyone who has penchant for art fall onto their knees.

"Wheew~ that's pretty fucking impressive, kid…" looking up as he nods at the sheer size of the attacks directed towards him, Zhang Tian couldn't help but let out an impressed whistle as he knocks on one of the solid, petrified invisible attacks, the fact alone that he is more than just capable of doing such making Azrael feel a newfound respect for him, the more he spent time with this older man making him feel like this guy is less and less of a monster and more of a person who merely lives his life with such an abysmal of luck.

'Considering his circumstances, I think I am still fairly lucky even if I was stuck in the first floor for a decade straight, hahaha' Azrael thought to himself as he smiles wryly, knowing that he still needs to do a lot more things to catch up to this person's might, and he's not even talking about the principality's peak, but rather the strength he posses as he stands right here, in front of him.

"One more time…" taking a deep breath before releasing it into a calming sigh, Azrael then opens his eyes with renewed vigor, intending to push himself even harder, the burning flames in his eyes making the principality smile in excitement himself.
