"Tsk tsk tsk, the rewards for killing Epic-class monsters is just getting smaller and smaller..." recalling how much reward he acquired back when he felled the Abyssal Rot Eternal Flower, Azrael couldn’t help but compare the vast difference between the two, although, he also feel like he can attribute it to the fact that out of all the five Epic-class he encountered on the second floor so far, it is indeed the Abyssal Rot Eternal Flower that is the strongest among all of them.

’They don’t even have their own Forbidden Zones’ he thought to himself in dismay as he initially thought that even if he were going to struggle as much as he did when fighting against the Eternal Flower, possibly even more if he fight these four remaining Epic-class monsters, he will definitely get as much of a reward as well, but reality had proven him wrong once again as he faces an irrefutable truth.

’There’s a division among the Epic-class monsters...’ he thought as he recall how vastly different the strength of the remaining four are compared to the Abyssal Rot Eternal Flower, the only reason why he had such massive advantage against such a terrifying monster being the fact that while it isn’t really immobile having the ability to move its body around, it is still rooted in its place being a plant and all, and it does seems like it doesn’t have any good measure other than the black fog to deal with enemies who decides to capitalize on that weakness.

’Haha, one month of hunting down all those remaining four and this is all the improvement I’ve got...’ looking at his stats barely improving after a month of continuously hunting, the young man still felt satisfied with his progress as he put emphasis on all the skills he had acquired felling all the remaining Epic-class monsters, each one of them making him feel more and more prepared on his upcoming fight against the boss of the second floor.

Despite all the confidence that he has fighting against a monstrosity that has a size so titanic that any normal attack won’t affect it though, he still couldn’t help but feel like he is still not prepared to fight the treasure guardian of the second floor head on, after all, based on his experience in the first floor, the treasure guardian is several times stronger than the boss of the floor it is on, to the point that should a treasure guardian and a floor boss have a fight, then the floor boss would be torn apart by the treasure guardian in no time at all.

Despite this dreadful fact though, Azrael still decides to brave through all these as he stretches a bit, opening a map and heading to the direction of the island Orca that is the target of the Main Quest.
