Latoya’s face went deathly pale.
Cornelia immediately stepped in front of Latoya, shielding her.“My son already brought her home. I think you should understand what that means. Ms. Johansen, if you know what’s good for you, you’ll make a decision on your own, or else things will get ugly.”
“Mom,” Christopher raised his voice.“I told you, I’m not leaving Rosa. How many times do I have to say it before you understand?”
“Fine, you’re not leaving her? I’ll help you.”
With that, Tristan took a few photos from his bag and mmed them down at Rosalind’s feet.
“Ms. Johansen, I’m sure you’re familiar with these photos,” he said, his tone heavy with usation.
Rosalind immediately recognized the bright letters of the Greymont Hotel in the photos.
She had beenforting Eloise all night and had been exhausted.
When she went downstairs, she nearly missed a step, only for Vernon to steady her.
But these photos were taken from an angle that made it seem like Vernon was holding her waist, the posture
intimate.
Tristan pointed at Rosalind and asked coldly, “Do you dare say this woman isn’t you?”
“Yes, it’s me,” Rosalind said, cutting him off.“But I want to know, who gave you these photos?”
“It doesn’t matter who gave them to me, as long as you admit it.”
“Was it Eugene?”
Christopher had said that Eugene had seen her and Vernon leave the hotel that morning.
Given the precision of these photos, Eugene had to be involved.
“So what if it was?” Tristan said.“Ms. Johansen, you need to have some dignity. You’ve done these things, and now you still have the nerve to stand here as Christopher’s wife?”
“I never intended to climb the Foret family’sdder. It was Christopher who pursued me from grade seven to grade twelve. He chased me for five years before I agreed to be with him.”
Cornelia sneered. “You were young back then. He didn’t really understand what kind of woman you were.”
Tristan joined in.“Now that everything’s out in the open, we’ve endured enough for so many years. You and Christopher must divorce, and the sooner, the better.”
Rosalindughed bitterly.“Mr. Tristan Foret, I’m inplete agreement with you. Christopher and I should go to the courthouse today and handle the paperwork.”
When Christopher heard her call his Dad’s full name, he immediately corrected her.“Rosa, stop messing around. You sound strange.”
“Our divorce is inevitable. It doesn’t matter when I start calling him that.”

“Hello, is this Ms. Johansen’s home? There’s a local delivery for you. Please sign here.”
It was probably the things Eloise had sent.
Rosalind went to open the door and signed for the package.
Eloise had sent her a big box, which she could barely peek into, seeing clothes and snacks inside.
And, of course, there were a few printed documents.
Rosalind carried the box upstairs, and Christopher quickly walked over to her.“Rosa, let me help you.”
“Ah… my stomach. It hurts…”
Latoya suddenly copsed to the ground.“C–bear, help me. Help our baby…”
