CHAPTER 225: CHAPTER 225: MR. HUO IS THE FIRST LOVE

Banxia froze again, a sense of helplessness washing over her. Under the veil of night, her small face had long turned fiery red and scorching hot.

She had always known that Yan Ting did everything very straightforwardly, but she didn’t expect his confession to be so direct that it was hard to take in.

"You like me, so I have to respond to you? Wouldn’t that make me look cheap?" Banxia lowered her head, muttering under her breath.

Yan Ting actually liked her. Ha, the arrogant and untouchable Mr. Huo liked her. How could this not be something to be proud of?

"You must respond to me. I don’t like playing a one-man show, nor do I want an unrequited love. Now that I’ve said it, what are you going to do?" The man was too domineering, laying all the tough questions in front of her, forcing her to make a choice.

This was love, not a multiple-choice quiz. The way he phrased it made Banxia’s mind go utterly blank.

"What can I do? Am I supposed to stop you and tell you not to like me?" Banxia burst out laughing.

"Don’t laugh!" Yan Ting’s expression tightened when he heard her laugh, and he snapped at her in a fit of embarrassment and anger, "Answer me seriously!"

Banxia was speechless. She was already being serious right now.

"I have nothing to answer you. If you like me, then so be it. I’ll just assume I’ve gained another admirer. Besides, there are so many people who like me—do I need to respond to every one of them? That would exhaust me to death." Banxia had her own pride. She certainly wouldn’t admit outright how excited, nervous, or honored she actually felt.

The moment Yan Ting heard her mention that other men also liked her, his large hand abruptly pushed her backward. His solid arm extended, trapping her in a kabedon.

His tall frame boxed her in between his chest and the rocky wall. In the narrow space, all she could feel was the cold, sharp scent emanating from him.

Banxia suddenly felt a little short of breath. With each inhale, the familiarity of the man’s presence grew stronger.

"You... what are you doing?" Banxia was incredibly nervous now. She could feel that the man was angry.

Was he furious just because she hadn’t given him an answer earlier? If so, his love was way too overbearing. What, did she have his personal stamp or something?

"Lin Banxia, listen to me. Right now, you’re the woman I, Yan Ting, like. No other man has the right to like you. If you dare to respond to them..." The man didn’t finish his sentence, but the heavy warning in his tone was dangerous enough to send chills down her spine.

"Yan Ting, have you never been in a relationship before? Is this your first time liking someone? Do you know that the way you love someone is really annoying? Who’s as domineering as you are? Just because you like me, I have to like you? What kind of nonsense is that?" Banxia’s small face was now flushed with anger as well. She immediately raised her head to retort at him after hearing his warning.

Under the gray moonlight, Yan Ting’s handsome face flushed crimson as well.

Dammit, this woman actually dared to mock him for it being his first time falling in love?

"The way I love a woman is exactly this domineering. You’ll just have to accept it." Yan Ting, now embarrassed and angry, felt his male pride trampled by this woman.

But Banxia pushed him away with a sudden, forceful shove. His tall figure, caught off guard, stumbled back two steps.

"Yan Ting, can you talk properly, please?" Banxia immediately grew angry too, snapping back at him directly.
