Chapter 206: Planning…

After listening to the idea he had, she nodded slightly, “That’s not a bad idea in itself, but you should discuss it with the rest and come up with a proper plan. And there is a need for the division leaders to change as well. Since we would be the ones attacking in the next round.”

Axel agreed to her statement, he lingered for a bit, but asked her eventually, “Though I am a bit worried about what trick that guy would pull this time.”

She stated with a tone of curiosity, “Indeed, that was quite a trick he pulled, it was interesting to see, I suppose. Well, now that he is defending this time, there aren’t many options for him to do anything interesting.”

She asked after a moment of pause, “But so what if he comes up with something? Are you scared? Will you lose?”

Axel scoffed at her, “Scared? As if anything could scare me? If I want to win, no matter what he throws at me, I will win.”

She chuckled at him, “Then win? Why worry needlessly?”

She then started walking with a subtle smile at the corner of her lips, and he was apparently stunned by her statement this time, It was almost as if she knew what he would say, and there was another detail which he missed, from the moment they started the conversation and every time she was with him. Her icy and frost-cold expression would be less intimidating.

She would almost become more expressive. For a moment, his throat went dry, as he swallowed his own saliva, a complicated emotion arose in his heart, but he took a deep breath and recollected himself.

The next day, most of the injured and unconscious ones had recovered by then. But Heinz still remained in a bad state; he was still in the infirmary, lying down and being treated with various medicines, but he had regained consciousness thankfully.

After that overwhelming display of power, many students decided to visit him in a show of goodwill and to get on his good side for the sake of their future benefit. If those from good backgrounds before showed arrogance and silent contempt towards him.

Now they could only show him true and undisguised respect. But his condition wasn’t too good, he refused most people trying to meet him, with whom he did not have a prior connection. Thorian, Sophia, and Lucian, each visited him and praised him for his performance, and he was given the most credit for their win. Heinz only took in the praise in a humble manner. He did it to win; he wasn’t interested in their praises, honestly.

Then his close friends Axel, Lumina, and Vyra visited him. Vyra asked him with apparent worry, “Are you ok? Maybe you should not have done that. Though I did see a captured footage of you fighting, you did look extremely cool.”

She added the last sentence with a slight blush on her face. Heinz’s eyes suddenly looked with renewed energy at the slightly blushing red-haired beauty. Axel almost wondered if the guy had completely healed at once, or if he was seeing things.

Heinz gave a meaningful look towards Axel, to which he nodded from the back with a thumbs up. He whispered in a barely audible voice into Lumina’s ears, “Let’s give the two lovebirds some time alone, shall we?”

Lumina was surprised and caught off guard by the sudden whisper of his, she nodded with a slight blush, and then both silently left. And let the two soon-to-be lovers go to their own devices.

Eventually, after 5-6 minutes of talk, Vyra left, and the two of them entered. Lumina and Axel both grinned at their friend. To which Heinz only snorted. The three of them bickered for a while, until Lumina left while saying, “Well, I’ll let you boys talk now. Bye.”

After she left, Heinz said to his friend, “You know I almost cringed when you made such a dramatic introduction of mine?”

Axel snorted, “Hmph, you’re going to have to do that for me as well in the future, someday. I’m simply teaching you how to do it.”

Heinz looked at him as if he was an idiot, “Keep dreaming if you think I’ll ever do such shit.”

Axel grinned, “You have no idea.”

Heinz added with a sigh, “Anyway, we almost lost this one. Didn’t we?”

Axel also sighed similar to his friend, “Yeah, if not for you, we would have. Good job bro, good job.”

Heinz then added on a serious note, “I don’t think I can pull this off again, everyone would have guessed by now, the requirements for the activation of this.”

“Yeah, it’s a pity this was revealed, but we still have cards up our sleeves, and I have some ideas. How long will it take for you to recover?” he asked.

“At least a few more days, but I can’t use this again, even if the conditions are met, for at least 2 more weeks of time. It is a limitation,” revealed Heinz.

Axel reassured him, “No worries, just get well. The next round won’t be held until another week later.”

2 days before the next round of battle. All the students of the Gold Section had gathered again, at the orders of the Valkyrie. A select few individuals have gathered around the round table placed in the center. Heinz had recovered by now.

Everyone who saw him greeted him with proper respect and smiles; they all made small talk and asked if he was okay or not. People already sucked up to him before, when he received a 4-star aspect, but now when he was showing his actual potential. They became even more enthusiastic about sucking up to him.

But the more shocking fact was that the dramatic increase in power didn’t even come from his 4-star aspect, but rather from the 3-star warlord aspect. Many also gave that same increased respectful treatment to Axel. After all, he also showed that terrifying battle prowess of his own.

Apart from that, Ken’s eyes met with Axel’s when the guy came; Ken’s eyes blazed with unfiltered malice, and it almost seemed like the guy would attack him in that very instant. And tear him apart. But he held in his anger, and surprisingly, he didn’t even tell this to Lucien or Lumina. Axel only looked at him in confusion and hatred.

Making sure that it didn’t seem obvious that he was the culprit. Axel, Lucien, Heinz, Lumina, Vyra, and Thorian were standing around the round table, including the Valkyrie. He spoke, “We need to change the division leaders now that we are attacking this time.”

They all nodded and waited for her to continue, “This time the fortifiers or the 2nd division’s leader will be Lumina, as a runecaster, she will handle the siege machines, though I would have still preferred Axel Nomrad to be the one.”

She paused for a moment, looking at Axel, and everyone looked at him as well. But his expression simply remained neutral, she continued seeing that, “Since he is unwilling, Lumina will be in that position.”

“Thorian will be the leader of the third division aka the sharpshooters this time, Vyra will remain a member of that division and assist Thorian.”

“Heinz will remain the leader of the first division of shock troops.”

“As for Lucien and Axel, they both will be in the fortifiers division.”

They all her, surprised at her statement, just as Lucien was about to vehemently disagree, Sophia gestured with her hand and stopped him. She then turned towards Axel, “Runecaster Axel, if you will?”
