CHAPTER 582: TABOO

"No matter how many of these ugly creatures there are, they can’t harm a single hair on my head!" Rustyrose raised his right hand. "Go, Ghosts of Brittia!"

Countless white spirits appeared out of thin air, pouncing on the Voidmites in the field. Everyone else, including Capricorn, was within their attack range.

"Ice Make: Wall!"

Gray immediately saw that this move was not simple. He skipped the defensive moves Ice Shield and Ice Wall, and directly created a taller and thicker city wall.

It not only protected his companions but also blocked most of the Voidmites.

But these "cute" little Worms didn’t seem to appreciate it. They stubbornly insisted on biting Rustyrose.

Facing the Ice Make Wall that suddenly blocked their path, their barren brains didn’t think twice before pouncing on it and starting to gnaw.

Thus, the wall Gray created not only had to withstand Rustyrose’s attacks but also had to be destroyed from within by the Voidmites.

Gray said with a headache, "What in the world is wrong with these guys?"

Lisanna thought for a moment and explained, "Brother-in-law seemed to have told me that these Worms have very low intelligence and are usually very difficult to coordinate in battle."

Under the pincer attack from inside and out, the Ice Make Wall tottered and finally collapsed with a crash.

The Voidmites were engulfed by the wave of spirits and were almost completely wiped out.

"Lion King’s Radiance!" Loke raised his arm, releasing Star Spirit light to contend with the spirits.

At the same time, Evergreen fired a large number of light bullets, forcing Rustyrose to dodge.

The spirits finally disappeared.

Rustyrose looked at Capricorn with dissatisfaction. "Are you going to let me have all the prey?"

Capricorn did not answer him, only waved his hand, noting the dark energy waves cutting down the Worms approaching him.

Then he stared intently at Loke. "That kind of magic... you, could it be—"

"You recognized me, Capricorn!"

Loke shook his arms. His tattered shirt and casual pants disappeared, replaced by a black suit, and his hair grew much longer, giving him the appearance of a lion at first glance.

"What?"

"Star Spirit?"

"Capricorn!"

Gray, Elfman, and the others were greatly astonished.

They had thought that one willful Star Spirit like Loke was enough, but they didn’t expect that besides him, even Capricorn had remained in the Human World and joined Grimoire Heart, becoming one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory.

"Leo, I thought you no longer dared to admit you were a Star Spirit." The moment he recognized Leo, Capricorn suddenly had a bold idea.

"According to Human World time, you haven’t returned to the Star Spirit World for over ten years, have you?" Loke asked. "What kind of master could make you stay in the Human World for so long?"

Capricorn snorted coldly. "Unlike you useless Star Spirits, not only do I not have a master, but I am also the master of humans!"

"Open, Gate of Humans, Samael!"

As if to demonstrate his magic, Capricorn casually drew a line, and a purple magic circle appeared, as if a gate had opened in the void.

A man in hunting attire, carrying a bow and quiver, appeared out of thin air and immediately drew his bow, firing a volley of arrows at the Fairy Tail members.

"Ice Make: Ice Shield!"

Gray instantly created an Ice Shield, but for some reason, this one seemed exceptionally fragile, practically shattering upon impact.

The arrows easily pierced through the shield, forcing Gray to dodge frantically.

Juvia’s body was struck by arrows without suffering any harm.

Elfman and Evergreen were not quick enough to dodge, and an arrow grazed their arms.

Lisanna was about to be hit, but Loke helped her knock away the arrow.

"What’s going on?" Elfman and Evergreen clutched their wounds. They had clearly seen the arrows’ trajectory just now, so why couldn’t they dodge them?

"Juvia heard that Samael is a legendary hunter from Belbaraso. Is it because his archery is too exquisite?"

"No, it’s because you’ve become weaker," Loke said. "The magic that guy uses is Human Subordination Magic, which can reduce your magic power and combat ability."

Loke quickly explained the magic the opponent was using, then said, "Humans are at an extreme disadvantage when facing him, so I’ll handle this guy."

"But—"

However, things were not that simple. Rustyrose waved his hand. "Come out, my Sacred Guardian Beast: Belcusas the Thunderclap! And Sacred Guardian Beast, Belfast the Hurricane!"

Two monstrous beasts suddenly appeared, crashing directly into the Fairy Tail members.

"Beast King Soul!" Elfman immediately used Take Over on a Beast King and grappled one of them, but he was pushed back repeatedly.

"Animal Soul: Penguin!" Lisanna transformed into a large penguin, blocking the other monstrous beast, but she fared even worse than Elfman and was sent flying.

"Fairy Machine Gun: Pixies!" Evergreen fired a dense barrage of light bullets, but they had no effect on the monstrous beasts.

"Ice Make: Lance!" Gray fired ice spears, but the monstrous beasts completely ignored his magic, charging forward regardless.

"Water Slicer!" Juvia’s water blades were also ineffective.

"Wah-ah-ah!"

"Ah!"

The two monstrous beasts charged wildly, and in a blink of an eye, they knocked down all five people besides Loke.

"Ah~ The screams of the fairies, a beautiful melody of flowers, forming a moving movement..." Rustyrose was in a pleasant mood.

Although he hadn’t met the Fairy Strategist yet, using his companions as an appetizer seemed pretty good.

Cooperating with Capricorn was good in every way except for being boring.

"Damn it!" Loke wanted to help, but Capricorn had already rushed up and engaged him, while Samael kept firing arrows to interfere.

Distracted, Loke took a punch to the face and a kick to the chest.

Rustyrose stepped forward, his right hand transforming into a Jet Black Blade, intending to help end the battle.

"Don’t interfere!" Capricorn blocked him. "His body is mine!"

Rustyrose paused. "You want to..."

"That’s right, I’m sick of this goat body!" Capricorn looked at Loke greedily. "Leo of Leo, what a perfect body, both a Star Spirit and a human. It’s practically tailor-made for me!"

"Suit yourself." Rustyrose’s right hand returned to normal, and he turned and left, muttering, "The next poem will be named Hermit Crab..."

Loke stood up, clutching his chest. "What are you talking about?"

"You’ll know soon enough." Capricorn waved his hand, and five more gates opened. From them, five warriors emerged and rushed toward Loke.

Loke hastily responded, but three more arrows shot from his side.

While his attention was completely diverted, Capricorn rushed up and kicked Loke flying.

Loke’s back slammed into a tree, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.

Capricorn stood not far in front of him, extending both hands. "Human Subordination Magic: Light of Man!"

Loke didn’t understand what he wanted to do, and said with difficulty, "You should know, that magic is ineffective against Star Spirits."

"That’s right, you can’t use this magic on creatures other than humans; that is precisely the taboo of Human Subordination Magic. And the person who breaks this taboo will have their body merge with that creature.

"In other words, I will reverse this taboo and seize your body!"
