With Minerva out and Ultear stands back to watch, the Naval Battle continues, or it might be more correct to say that it has just been started for real because all the participants can finally fight after being unable to do anything for a while.

Lucy who's also freed now quickly summons Aquarius. She actually just brought Aquarius's key for this Naval Battle. After summoning Aquarius, she quickly uses Aquarius's Star Dress, which is composed of a green bikini top, frill sleeves, a frill miniskirt, a pair of sandals, and her hair also tied in pigtails with green ribbons.

Unlike in the series, Aquarius's attitude towards Lucy is not that bad. It's because Lucy didn't annoy her by summoning her too much when she was still very young. Her mother was still alive and her father gave her a lot of attention, after all, so she wasn't lonely.

Also, Layla taught her to not summon the Spirits too much to not disturb them. After all, the time in the Celestial Spirit world moves slower than on Earthland, so even though it has been a week here, it might have just been a few hours there.

Thanks to Layla's teaching, Lucy didn't call Aquarius too often. So Aquarius could spend more private time in the Celestial Spirit World. Although she is still a bit salty every time she gets summoned, she doesn't just lash out every time she's summoned.

"Aquarius, please make a small but long water cyclone! I will control the direction."

Following Lucy's order while grumbling, Aquarius makes a rather small water cyclone that keeps getting longer. While wearing Aquarius's Star Dress, Lucy can use Water Magic and she can control Aquarius's spell to an extent.

She uses that ability to control the direction of Aquarius's Water Cyclone and her first target is actually Mira. Aside from Ultear, she knows that Mira is her biggest threat, so she attacks Mira first while she is still in full power.

However, Mira quickly transforms into her basic Satan Soul form and moves away very quickly to dodge that Water Cyclone. Using her Satan Soul Flight Spell to move underwater is surprisingly effective although she can't be as fast as when she is in the air.

At the same time, Rocker from Quatro Puppy tries to sneak attack Mira from behind, so when Mira dodges the Water Cyclone, it hits Rocker instead. Rocker uses a spell that forms wind drills on his hands.

But because he is underwater, his wind drill turns into water drills instead because there's no air there and it's the water that gets spun instead. Unfortunately for him, because it's not real water magic and they are inside a water sphere, his spell becomes significantly weaker.

So it loses to Aquarius's water cyclone and Rocker gets thrown out of the water sphere. Quatro puppy unfortunately gets a very low point again. They only had 2 points before and now only get 1 more point, so their total is only 3 points in the 3rd day.

Mira who has dodged Lucy's attack shoots a darkness energy beam at Sorano, the member of Heaven's Runners who surprisingly counters it with a golden bright beam. While Mira's attack isn't her best spell, it's still surprising that Sorano can block it.

Then, Sorano's body suddenly gets wrapped in a golden bright and warm aura. A golden halo also appears above her head before she shoots barrages of golden bright beam rays at Mira who easily blocks them with a rotating dark shield.

"So this is Holy Magic, huh? I don't know that it's this strong."

Because Sorano has participated in the previous Grand Magic Games, her Magic is already known by many people including Mira. They never fought before, so Mira never faced Sorano's Holy Magic, a type of Light Magic that's very rarely learned because it's very difficult.

Although Mira's power comes from the demons she took over, it doesn't mean Holy Magic is her natural weakness. In the first place, Demon is just a race of magical creatures on Earthland. Their magic only has different characteristics, not impure or anything.

On the other hand, Holy Magic is Human Mages' attempt to imitate Angel's Magic. They already tried to imitate God's Magic, so it's not strange for them to try imitating Angel's Magic. Angels also exist, after all, and Sorano could summon them using special coins that acted like Spirit Keys in the series.

But because it originated from Angel's Magic, it is very difficult to learn. Still, it is better than Angel Magic, the magic used to summon Angels because that magic requires its users to offer their life energy.

Unlike Celestial Spirit Magic that only uses its users' magic power, Angel Magic requires them to use their life force in exchange for the Angels' power and when the Angels are defeated, the users will take damage instead.

Many Mages think that it's vicious magic, so Ancient Mages tried to recreate those Angels' Magic and the result is this Holy Magic. But as expected of high level magic, it is very difficult to learn, just as difficult as God Slayer Magic.

Even so, it's better than Angel Magic that has a big price to pay. Sorano learned Celestial Spirit Magic at first, but Silver Keys just didn't cut it out for her ambition to be strong. She wanted to learn Angel Magic then, but her Guild Mates, especially Jellal stopped her because of its requirements.

So they helped her look for another Magic that can grant her dream of turning into an "Angel". Then Jellal found out about Holy Magic, but its book was possessed by Draculos, the 2nd rank of Wizard Saints at the time.

Fortunately, Draculos easily let Sorano learn it as long as she learned it at his place because he wanted to see someone succeed in learning it. He has taught it to some talented youngsters, but no one succeeded before Sorano.

He was very happy when Sorano managed to use the 1st spell of the Holy Magic because it was the 1st time someone succeeded in learning this Magic. So Sorano is Draculos's, a Wizard Saint's disciple and she is strong.

Her Holy Ray looks similar to Sting's spell, but the color and attribute are different. She changed her attack into a single big Holy Beam and Mira counters it with a Dark Beam. Both spells surprisingly have equal power.

They want to continue, but suddenly 2 people try to attack them from behind. Jenny is trying to attack Mira to pay back for her defeat while Sherria tries to attack Sorano from behind too, taking the chance when Sorano is focused on Mira.

But then without saying a word and only exchanging glances, both Mira and Sorano redirect their spells. Mira moves her Dark Beam to attack Sherria and Sorano uses her Holy Beam to attack Jenny.

Their attacks hit and immediately throw the unsuspecting girls out of the sphere. Sherria leaves the sphere first before Jenny, so Lamia Scale gets 2 points while Blue Pegasus gets 3.

Mira and Sorano want to continue their battle but the whole water sphere suddenly becomes violent. The whole giant water sphere spins very strongly like a washing machine. They try to stay inside, but eventually get thrown out.

Sorano gets thrown out first, followed by Mira who can hold on longer. A moment later, the spinning water sphere stops, leaving only Ultear, Lucy, and the surprised Aquarius inside.

"What?! A human stops my full-power spell?" Aquarius who spins the water sphere is surprised.

The one who stops it is none other than Ultear who just smiles proudly like an older sister watching her younger sister's growth. Lucy can only laugh awkwardly because she knows if that spell can't even throw Ultear out, then she has no other way to defeat Ultear.

"Good job, Lucy. You decided to go all out in the end with only 4 of us remaining here. Even if you couldn't take me out, you could at least take those 2 out. That was your plan, right?"

"We-well, it would be nice if you also got thrown out." Lucy smiles awkwardly.

"Too bad then. Even the water spirit won't be my match underwater. After all, in this water domain, I'm the God."

Ultear grins before simply flicking her right hand away at Lucy and Aquarius. Both of them suddenly feel a very strong current that pushes them out of the giant water sphere. Only Ultear remains in the water sphere now, so she is the winner of this game.
