Fallen To The Ruthless Obssessive CEO
Chapter 334 - 314: What?
CHAPTER 334: CHAPTER 314: WHAT?
Staring into the girl’s bright black eyes, filled with sincerity, Bao Ye put down his chopsticks with a dark look in his eyes. He spoke in a steady and powerful voice, laughing, "How about tying that rope to keep you by my side from now on?"
Jiang Ruan didn’t react at first. "Huh?"
"Why?"
Bao Ye said flatly, "To prevent anything from happening to you when I don’t see you for a while."
This wasn’t the first time.
Bao Ye furrowed his brows, recalling what happened that evening. His mood was clearly off; tonight he happened to be there, but what if he wasn’t?
"This time was just an accident. Who knew some idiot would act like I dug up their ancestors’ graves and pour detergent on the steps," Jiang Ruan complained. Seeing the man’s unpleasant expression, she continued, "Once we find out, I certainly won’t let it go so easily."
Bao Ye raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued, "What do you plan to do?"
Jiang Ruan answered without hesitation, "Of course it’s tit for tat. I’ve never done something so malicious to others, but since someone bullied me, I obviously have to return the favor. Otherwise, I’d look like I’m easy to bully."
She spoke fiercely, "I’ll pour detergent on her usual path too and see what she’ll do."
In Bao Ye’s eyes, Jiang Ruan was always obedient and well-behaved.
Suddenly seeing her so fierce, like a little wild cat, it did feel refreshing to him.
Bao Ye chuckled, "Alright."
"But detergent isn’t as slippery as cooking oil. Why not just use cooking oil directly?"
"I believe the effect will be twice as good with half the effort."
The man spoke lightly with a smile.
Jiang Ruan’s eyes widened, "Cooking oil?"
She swallowed quietly, then gave Bao Ye a thumbs up, "I thought I was ruthless enough, didn’t expect you to be even more so."
"If you really use cooking oil and someone actually falls, they’d be either dead or half-crippled, right?"
Bao Ye: "What’s there to fear?"
"Just be quick with your hands and destroy the cameras in advance; then no one will trace it back to you."
Bao Ye laughed, "If that doesn’t work, I can find a couple of people to help you do it together."
"I guarantee it’ll be twice the results with half the effort, and I’ll help you take your revenge."
He spoke with a casual expression, as if discussing something trivial.
Jiang Ruan couldn’t help but shudder from the bottom of her heart, as a frightening thought rose subconsciously. She couldn’t help but ask aloud.
"If one day I offend you, and you plan something against me, would I not stand a chance?"
The girl’s fearful yet joking words reached his ears. Bao Ye was just about to take a sip of wine when he stopped, his eyes lifting to meet Jiang Ruan’s serious gaze.
As their eyes locked, he remained completely calm, even serene.
After about a minute, Bao Ye’s lips curved into a smile, his well-defined fingers put down the wine glass, and he stretched his hand toward her with a wicked smile, "Come here."
Jiang Ruan’s heart trembled, with an instinctive bad feeling.
"I was just joking, Bao Ye," Jiang Ruan said.
Then the man’s authoritative voice rang out.
"Don’t make me repeat myself a second time."
The man leaned against the chair with a lazy, casual posture, exuding an invisible aura of a mature man’s hormones, while he spoke, eyes fixed intently on her.
In the end, Jiang Ruan got up and went over.
She stood in front of him, her mouth pouting, wearing high heels, with her shoulders half-exposed, looking confident and justified.
"What?"
"I already said I was joking with you, is there a need to get angry?"
