With that, Angie turned around and walked back first.

After taking two steps, she saw Justin looking for Serena.

Angie stopped in her tracks.

Justin walked past her and walked toward Serena.

Angie subconsciously turned around and saw Justin gently tidying Serena''s hair. He asked in a doting tone, "Why did youe outside? The weather is cold now. Be careful not to catch a cold."

Angie''s heart was stabbed again, and she walked in unsteadily.

Serena pursed her lips, and her heart was pounding. Everything felt like a dream. ''It''s indeed a dream. After we leave the Vance family''s house, I''ll wake up from the dream.''

It wasn''t until Angie entered the living room that Serena raised her head to look at him. "She likes you, you know that, right?"

Justin took a deep breath. "I''ve known her for many years. We would have been together long ago if we could be a couple. So, I can only reject her."

Serena''s pupils constricted slightly, and his words echoed in her ears. ''If they could be a couple, they would have been together long ago...''

"What are you thinking about? Let''s go in and greet them. After that, we''ll leave. I don''t want to stay in this house any longer."

Serena nodded and formally took his arm. They walked into the living room together.

Zachary sat on the sofa and smoked. His eyes narrowed when he saw Serena and Justin enter hand in hand.

"Dad, it''s gettingte. I''ll take Serena back first."

"Stop right there."

Justin turned around and looked at him. "Is there anything else?"

"Send Angie back first."

Justin''s eyes darkened slightly. Serena nced at him and didn''t say anything.

Angie''s heart turned cold. ''So, he''s not even willing to send me off?''

"Okay, Angie, let''s go," Justin said.

Angie bid farewell to Zachary obediently and followed behind them with heavy footsteps.

Justin and Serena still held hands.

if they couldn''t bear to part with

each other even for a while. Thes

seemed glued together, making her eyes and heart hurt violently.

Serena walked to the car door and hesitated for a moment. Atst, she sat in the passenger seat.

Angie sat in the back row and looked at the night sky outside the window silently. Justin sent Angie to the entrance of her neighborhood first.

She was in no hurry to get out of the car. Instead, she asked hoarsely, "When did you start?"

Justin rolled down the window and

lit a cigarette. "As I said, she just- returned to the country, and we confirmed our rtionship not long ago."

Angie sneered. "Today?"

"Yes." His voice sounded patronizing and detached.

For a moment, Angie felt that this was not the Justin she knew.

She said, "Justin, do you think your father will agree to the two of you being together?"

"It''s fine if he doesn''t agree," he said calmly, "If he doesn''t agree, I can keep

dating Serena and not marry her. Serena, do you mind?"

Serena smiled. "Of course not. I''ve waited for you for so many years. As long as I can be with you, I''ll be satisfied."

Angie''s heart ached to the extreme.

"Justin, I won''t let go." After saying this, she pushed open the car door and got out

of the car. Her footsteps were a little messy.

Serena had mixed feelings.

Justin watched her enter the building before starting the car and leaving.

Serena looked at the man beside her. Tonight, she had truly seen his heartlessness and indifference.

''Come to think of it, he and Angie used to have the same rtionship as he and I.'' Her heart felt heavy. She opened the car window and enjoyed the cool breeze for a while.

The cold air cleared her mind, and she kept recalling Justin and Angie''s words.
