Falling in Love With My Arranged-Marriage Husband
Chapter 331: 305 Ah Shang, What's Wrong?
Chapter 331: Chapter 305 Ah Shang, What’s Wrong?
This is the first time Ji Sang has traveled far for photography since returning to the country half a year ago. She isn’t short of money and has always treated herself well, so she booked first class without hesitation when she got the tickets.
Min Yunwen and Ji Sang are somewhat different. Ji Sang’s works come from all over the world, while his focus is within the country, rarely going abroad for photography.
Booking first class so extravagantly for this trip abroad made him exclaim, “Is this the life of the rich?”
First class was more comfortable. As soon as Min Yunwen got on, he assumed a sleeping position.
To him, travel time for any trip is meant for sleeping.
Last night, Ji Sang and Fu Yisi were up late making a ruckus, and Ji Sang, uncharacteristically, felt tired upon boarding, so she didn’t bother thinking about the upcoming itinerary.
When she woke up, the plane was preparing to land.
Min Yunwen, already awake next to her, clicked his tongue at Ji Sang’s still drowsy eyes.
“Even if you’re going to be apart for a month, you should keep it moderate.”
“Hm?”
Min Yunwen pointed to his own neck.
Ji Sang looked reflexively1, and Min Yunwen coughed,
“It’s your neck.”
Ji Sang touched her neck, her senses starting to slowly return.
She hadn’t paid much attention last night; Fu Yisi had left quite a few marks on her shoulders and neck. Today, she had deliberately worn a medium-high collar shirt specifically to cover those love bites.
It was probably too warm while she was sleeping and she had accidentally pulled the collar down.
Ji Sang quickly fixed her collar and sat up straight.
After deplaning, they would need to take a two-hour car ride to the port, with only half an hour rest in between.
Ji Sang patted her face gently to perk herself up.
Both of them had luggage. Min Yunwen’s was less than Ji Sang’s, but it was only because his suitcase was smaller. After all, the DSLR was extremely important to both of them, carried in their backpacks.
As the plane landed and it was time to retrieve luggage, Min Yunwen pushed his small suitcase in front of Ji Sang and took her suitcase.
“No need, I can manage on my own.”
Min Yunwen self-mockingly,
“I can’t push two suitcases by myself. You can help me with a small one, right?”
He had promised Fu Yisi to take good care of Ji Sang.
Min Yunwen insisted, and Ji Sang didn’t make a fuss to avoid wasting time.
With only half an hour, they needed to eat something to replenish their energy.
Min Yunwen wasn’t fussy about food, and Ji Sang could make do in special circumstances. They casually chose a restaurant near the airport with fewer people.
Luckily, it was a fast-food restaurant. The food was served quickly, and in just five minutes, their meals arrived.
“This is our first time going on a photography trip together, shall we toast?”
Min Yunwen raised his cola, and Ji Sang clinked hers against it.
There wasn’t much time, so they ate without talking, both seriously digging in.
Actually, Ji Sang wasn’t that hungry. She had eaten quite a bit for brunch, and there was also a small pack in her backpack, a sandwich prepared by Fu Yisi for her to eat on the road.
After eating a hamburger, she stopped.
Min Yunwen was different. He had woken up and immediately headed to the airport, making this essentially his first meal of the day.
After finishing his plate, Min Yunwen looked at Ji Sang’s plate and swallowed,
“Aren’t you eating anymore?”
Ji Sang nodded.
Min Yunwen touched his nose,
“Then let me have it, I’m not full yet.”
Ji Sang was surprised,
“Then order another one.”
Min Yunwen wasn’t so particular,
“No need, there’s no time, I don’t mind.”
Ji Sang: ….
“So you didn’t sleep much on the plane because you were hungry?”
Min Yunwen nodded.
But Ji Sang frowned,
“How could I have ordered something to eat?”
Min Yunwen glanced at Ji Sang but didn’t speak.
“There’s a sandwich in my bag, just tell me if you get hungry later.”
Min Yunwen paused in his cola-sipping,
“You brought a sandwich too?”
“Yeah, he made it for me.”
Min Yunwen: ….
“Fine, eat it yourself then.”
She wouldn’t touch it; this was a lovingly prepared meal by Fu Yisi, exclusively for her.
As Min Yunwen devoured the lunch with ferocious speed, Ji Sang couldn’t help but feel a bit choked up watching her.
“Slow down, you’ve still got fifteen minutes.”
They had booked an online car service.
Despite the warning, Min Yunwen didn’t slow down much; for years he had been used to making do, eating was purely about filling his stomach.
By the time he finished, they still had ten minutes to spare.
Plenty of time.
The two arrived at the agreed pick-up location and Ji Sang checked the timer on her phone,
“Five minutes left before arrival.”
Min Yunwen leaned in for a glance,
“White, 7857.”
With so many cars at the airport, white was hardly noticeable – they had to rely on the digits on the license plate.
“Thankfully, this car’s number is easy to remember.”
Hearing that, Ji Sang took another look,
“Why?”
Min Yunwen let out a belch,
“857.”
“Huh?”
Min Yunwen raised his eyebrow at Ji Sang,
“That’s right, you wouldn’t know.”
She had always been deeply involved in photography, clueless about nightclubbing. It was only natural she didn’t know what “857” referred to.
“857… It’s just a really fun place.”
Ji Sang nodded, not dwelling on it,
“Keep an eye out for the car.”
She needed to make a call to Fu Yisi.
The call was answered after about ten seconds.
Before Ji Sang could speak, Fu Yisi asked,
“Have you landed?”
“Yes, we are about to catch a ride. We grabbed something quick to eat just now, didn’t want to be late, so I’m only calling you now. Have you had dinner yet?”
“Yeah.”
Before Fu Yisi could continue, Ling Yuxuan’s voice boomed in,
“Sister-in-law, we’re in the middle of eating.”
This meal was organized by Ling Yuxuan, as a way to thank the bros who had helped him out recently.
Even Han City was there, but Su Ge stayed at home due to his love of sleep.
Ji Sang was startled initially by Ling Yuxuan’s voice.
Fu Yisi coolly glanced at Ling Yuxuan, then walked to the window to continue speaking to Ji Sang.
“The car hasn’t arrived?”
As soon as the question ended, Ji Sang saw Min Yunwen gesturing to her.
“Looks like it’s here.”
Ji Sang grabbed her luggage and made her way over.
Hearing the sound of the rolling luggage, Fu Yisi told her to watch for cars and was about to suggest hanging up when he heard Min Yunwen’s voice.
“Ji Sang, check the driver’s information on the booking.”
“Huh?”
Ji Sang was taken aback, but seeing the serious look on Min Yunwen’s face, she instinctively switched to the car booking app.
“It’s Mr. Li, a white Volkswagen. What’s wrong?”
Min Yunwen scoffed,
“Are you Mr. Li?”
The driver nodded in affirmation, his expression concealed behind sunglasses.
Ji Sang seemed to realize why Min Yunwen had inquired, noticing the man’s attire.
However, Fu Yisi was unaware of the situation,
“Ah Shang, what’s wrong?”
